Moar demons! Ose was a rather eccentric demon, and his outfit clearly showed that he had a certain demon slayer as his hero, but both of those things didn't preclude the fact that he was one of the more powerful demons you could find in this neck of the woods. After a brief discussion, Ose was more than happy to serve Bel, with the only caviate being that he'd tried to possess him at first, thinking that he was a fragile human who's body he could use to become stronger. Yeeeah, that had been a mistake, but rather than punishing Ose for his mistake, Bel was now making him an offer he couldn't refuse. Gain strength from Bel, and he would be far more powerful than his kin, but try to harm humans again and he would be dealt with. Ose might have been stupid enough to risk it if he had found another master, but as it stood, being in league with Bel would offer him far more power than he imagined.

His gathering of powerful creatures began dealing overwhelming damage to the horde of demons as they approached, never letting a single one of the monsters reach him. Bel was curious just how well they could coordinate as a team, and the answer was...well, they were demons, so he should have known. But regardless, the demons all dealt overwhelming damage to their opponents, corpses being tossed about in the heat of battle as if they were mere toys, and he noted that his team happened to have an overwhelming specialization in damage. There were skills for buffing, debuffing, defense and healing...and he lacked most of them, which made him consider that perhaps a revamping could be in order. But for the time being, the sting of battle was real...and his enemies would continue reeling from the assault, no matter what tricks they pulled against the King and his subjects.

Demon, meet fist. Fist, meet demon. It was a pretty simple introduction, but it got the bloody point across, as he sent brains splattering all over the wall with a single blow to the cranium of the monster. They didn't seem to retain the lesson for long, but then again, he never left demons to spread the message along, so it was probably his approach that needed some refinement. But another demon bit the dust despite it's fiercest opposition, and with it Bel made the streets a little safer...it was a formulaic approach, but even the tiniest step brought this story nearer its conclusion.

Crush them cajones! Bel didn't expect to be attacked by another demon so soon, but it ended even quicker than he'd imagined, as he quickly kicked the creature down low and sent it flying upwards of something like the moon. Breaking the atmosphere wouldn't have surprised Bel, and while people might worry about a demon losing its life in the oxygenless confines of space (by the way, demons didn't always breath oxygen), that thing was definitely dead long before it break orbit. That was just how Bel rolled, boyeez.

Dante maxin', yeah yeah yeah~ He and Dante were working together, and that's all there is to say about that. Independent guys, doing independent things, independent of your evil itty bitty schemes from beyond, woo woo~. Bel didn't want to rub it in anyone's faces too much, but considering the number of people who were all like "I'm Dante's friend now!", but in fact shared absolutely NOTHING in common with him and in many cases wanted an ending that the demon slayer would actually despise, it was amusing...and put him in a league of his own. Neutrality wasn't the same thing as non-aggression, and non-aggression didn't always get you freedom. What he and Dante wanted, what Kisa sought, what all of them claimed to like...it was all very different, and yet all of them, ignorant of the true meaning of their bonds, continued to cling blindly to them and just assume that Dante was on their side, ignoring all up until now that they had done...and how little of it truly helped anyone.

While Bel didn't expect that he would collect many more, here again he stumbled upon a scene not unlike a massacre, finding manikins tossed left and right by creatures who clearly didn't understand the true value of their prey. After all, as unfortunate as it was, manikins inherited human's emotions so that they could be a source of fuel for demons...and the best way to extract emotion was, of course, through methods like bringing joy or pain. Torture was a demonic favorite, and these manikins were lucky enough to have avoided that fate. Their talisman though, he would use for their sakes...if he found the opportunity, of course.

Survival of the fittest, as it were.
