Okay, maybe it was at least a little bit of time to panic.
"You!" ey called to a nearby drone, mindless of the fact that he, too, looked more than a little worse for the wear. "Have you seen an orangeblood about this high? She has orange in her hair and should be - holding...a shovel."
Had she been hit by the boulders? "You! Help me look for her!" Dictys called, thrusting eir braid over eir shoulder imperiously. Ey wasn't going to let her fall behind now.
Mommydaddy HP is at 28/40

Voscil is attacking KurshaAngry from her burns, and while she and Voscil had agreed they shouldn't be after the drones at this point they were in the mix no matter what. It was either fight them, or flee. Seeing as she was clinging to that other troll she saw no other choice. Lashing out with a mighty swipe of her paw she swatted at a few drones. Like tumblestones, she took out several. The last one met it's fate to her bite. Voscil meanwhile had been moved by Reemus, pushed behind him just in time not to be injured. She felt Athene's hands pick her up carrying her away from the initial blast radius. She let her grab her and lif her off the ground. The psionic yellowblood squeaked in surprise at being lifted, wrapping her arms around her tightly afraid to let go. "C-careful!" She rubbed at her eyes squinting through the haze at her. "Please...and thank you for helping me." She spoke to the other, shy for a brief moment in her expression of gratitude. Voscil clutched at her as she moved to continue fighting..letting her go as she stared her eyes wide with admiration and fear. Something caught her sponge clots that tore at her pump biscuit. The screams of her friend echoed in her ears like a horrifying scene. Her mother was burned badly, and now too was her friend. He clung to his mother crying, she felt horrible...this was terrible. Her eyes blurred with tears, unable to see well. She hadn't been hurt in the crossfire, but her terror was amplified hearing his lusus whimper from pain. Picking at the portion that wasn't ruined she helped him to peel it off his sweater pushing it aside so it wouldn't keep burning him where it was soaked. Looking around them in the darkness through her irritated vision she used what cave water was available in a splashed puddle to try and sooth the irritation of burning. It likely did little, but she had to try something. "Is there anything else I can do for you..?" She asked the other sitting with him in the darkness of the tunnel. That sweater was ruined and had been causing him extra pain she was sure. The nice pretty thing that had been made for him destroyed in a blink of an eye. This was a harsh lesson. One she wasn't ready for. Her lusus came back, looking at the pair sadly as MamaJu tried to gently nuzzle him in a spot that wasn't injured. They had to keep moving even if it hurt. She certainly could relate to the troll in question. Mamaju's HP: 26/40 Mamaju destroys 4 drones.

Forera's voice cut through the din and Etsali couldn't help but grin. She didn't sound like she was in top shape, but she was obviously still fighting. As she listened out for Luxara, she tugged at the turtle again. "Come on, Scuttle." The lusus was pretty wobbly in those skates of his, but they were starting to make progress.
Etsali does 6 damage to Kursha!

Luxara is attacking Kursha!"An?" Oh s**t, he hadn't been able to find something close to her. Using her coat to help filter the fumes, she looked for him in the tunnels. "An, I hear you, where the hell-" Oh no. Oh god. Positive: he wasn't a melted puddle. Negative, he was clearly having a hard time breathing. "Holy s**t, no!" He inhaled fumes! And he looked like he could barely walk. Luxara swooced in, doing her best despite the height difference to assist, going under one of his arms and laying it over her shoulders. "We have to keep moving!"
She could hear Etsali echo down the way. "Ets! Ets, help! An...An's choking!"HP: 11/20 Attack: 0 Inventory: Agility trinket

ODETTE IS ATTACKING KURSHA
Odette is disguised and wearing a mask
Odette fell into the cave water, at first absolutely terrified. The net that had shocked her had ripped part of her suit, the criss-cross holes letting cold water in and shocking her. Well, not as shocking as the net itself was, but Odette was simply terrified by the cold shock on her skin. When she looked up, she felt lucky.
Off to the side somewhere, was that— Ganyma? What was he doing with his mask off? He looked so distraught, so tired, she worried. He was fading fast. Odette rushed over, weaving her way through the crowd towards the large troll's side. She tossed her weapon to the side and took Ganyma's head in her hands, pressing their foreheads together.
"You're stronger than this!" She urged him, voice raising confidently. "You're stronger than him! Keep with it!" She was yelling at the tealblood now, weak voice cracking as she tried to push him on. She pulled his head down and planted a strong kiss on Ganyma's forehead. If only she could explain how happy it made her to see him on the right side again... But there was no time for that.

Vremea dealt 0 damage to Kursha. Vremea only hoped the other scouts were alright. Vremea had lost track of of them during the battle...

ANGUIS IS ATTACKING KURSHA
Anguis staggered forward, glad to see Luxara had heard him and was nearby. She looked better than him, that was for sure, and he let out a weak smile. "I'm- I'm fine," he managed to get out, but he coughed heavily in between the words. It was a lie, it was a huge lie, but he didn't want her to worry. He only Forera had fared better than him. He would have to find her later.
He only nodded weakly at her, flinching a little at her draping his arm around her. That had to hurt her shoulder and he tried to voice it, coughing out "Does- Doesn't it... hurt?" The words sounded mangled to his own ears though and he only walked with her, just trying to keep himself upright.
HP: 6/20

Leeroi screamed for bloody murder. Then he screamed some more, just for good measure. Pinned underneath the rocks, he felt useless. He needed to fight, come on! This wasn't fair!
"MOM, WHAT THE ********" He yelled at his lusus, also trapped under the rocks with him, struggling to get up without endangering the small boy.

"EEP!" Elidae scampered around the boulders, getting nicked in the face by projectile pieces of rock flying through the air. Taking a moment to balance herself and hide in a nearby tunnel, the yellowblood violently coughed as dust hit her lungs. Out of the corner of her eye, Elidae spotted her little lusus, barely aflutter in her direction, obviously having taken a hard blow.
"Ah! Dad, are you okay?" She questioned worriedly, though her lusus merely chattered a moment before attempting to fly away again.

There were so many people just shouting. Alifax huffed out a breath, and then carefully hefted his meteors. It was time to get a little more serious. He crushed his trinket thing in his hands and then carefully moved in to strike.
He hit twice in quick succession, although he wasn't able to see whether the move did any good. How was Tamiya holding up?
He kind of wished for a familiar face, but most of the people he knew were too young for this.
Well, either that or they were Kursha.

Reemus is attacking Kursha!"Vos? Vos?" At first he couldn't find her; he was down before he had any idea Athene had scopped the kiddo back up. But something was pulling at his top, and with a patience and gentleness his lusus wasn't capable of.
He flinched when something splashed him; more acid? Reemus pre-emptively squirmed, but it felt...cool. Refreshing. Just water. "Who-" But before he could ask, a little voice spoke up. Voscil was back. It was still hard to open his eyes. By now the best he could do was squint while his vision was burned by the tears and the gas around them. "I...I dunno." He choked out. "Just bein' here's enough." There wasn't anything else to do until they could find doctor people. A foreign muzzle touched him, and he flinched. "Who's zat? Where's Athene? Is she- she okay?" he croaked. "Are you okay?"HP: 11/20 Attack: 0 Inventory: Woofmum

Nictor's eyes had taken on a glazed quality as he and his lusus follow the bulk of the forces along, still skirting edges. They would scuttle quickly out of the way when pebbles and rock would rain down every so often. They eventually found another good spot to rest that happened to already be occupied by a very lazy drone. Nictor frowned at the drone, just wanting a bit of space and quiet, so Bee shoved the lazy butt into a nearby troop of drones that were moving back out for the fight, and got dragged along. Now Bee pressed close over his little grub once more, letting the young troll burrow into his soft coat, trying to drown out the overwhelming noise.

Meduma HP: 24/40
Lorata scurried forward to help pull rocks off of a drone, tugging at him until he was able to get back on his feet. She could hear screaming all around, and Meduma's voices all sounded so anxiously angry. What they needed was someone to go ahead of them, so he'd run into any danger first and Meduma would have time to see it. "Come on, you can make it! Go on ahead!"

"She wears glasses," Dictys added helpfully. "Do you think you might see her?"
It was like Mommydaddy all over again. Dictys certainly hoped that Abrila was in one piece.
