*Shortstraw smiled and patted her head, "it's okay to see if your alowed first. Come on we can ask him." He smiled and headed to the room, however as shortstraw went to ask he found theador all pooped out and in his bed sound asleep." He smiled, "awww." He walked over, tucked him in and placed a note where theador would see it, "We have gone to town. But we didn't want to wake you up. We shouldn't be long and if you need anything find kirro, or lilly. Be back soon, with love Shortstraw and Evelin." He then closed the door litly, "looks like it's just the too of us princess." He held out his hand, "come on." He smiled. He wasn't sure if she did this on purpose, but he was more then happy that evelin and him could spend alittle time. He saw sooooo much of keria inside her... he felt he really needed it.

Evelin smiled up to her father and took his hand gratefully. "All right daddy." She nodded and started to walk with him down the stairs and out the front door. It was strange that she'd do something without her brother. In any other case she wouldn't have been willing, let alone make the idea up herself. She wasn't that affirmative. She supposed only when herself, Theodore and her father were together that this was the case. But with anyone else, no.

*Shortstraw finally felt what he was looking for. Since all the way back when he was talking to keria about even having kids. Right now. Him and Evelin walking together through town. Just javing father and doughter time to spend happily. He even took her for icecream in the park and played a few games there with her too. As they sat own or a second in the grassy fields though and shortstraw hugged Evelin tight he kissed her forhead, "Evelin I wan tyou to always remember something." he looked to her happily.

Evelin looked to her father with round golden eyes. "What's that?" She smiled sweetly once more. Maybe it did do her a little good to be away from Theodore from time to time, but that didn't distract the weird pull she felt in her chest at the moment.

*Shortstraw kissed her again and spoke lowly, " Both I and your brother Love you, no matter what you do, or who you become, or even if you ever ever get mixed up in somthing. And we will always be in two places, right beside you." He put his finger to her heart, "and in your heart. Never forget us." He kissed her and held her tightly again, "daddy loves his princess." He whsipered.

Evelin blinked. Her father was feeling awfully loving today. Although she wasn't sure if she noticed most of the time. "I love you too daddy." She said with another smile. She nestled into his lap and looked away. It turned out there were a lot of people in the park on an afternoon like this, and she could see lots of people walking towards their destinations along the busy path beside the park. She sometimes looked to some women and imagined them as her mother. It didn't really hit how much she'd miss her until small events happened without Kiera there. She was staring at one woman who stood in the crowd which she thought was strange to start with because she was the only one that wasn't moving. In fact that woman was almost staring at them, coldly. "Daddy why is that lady staring at us?" She looked back to him then back to the woman, who had suddenly disappeared. "Oh.." She blinked.

*Shortstraw blinked, "I dont know hun... i dont see anyone staring at us." However he wasn't going to say she was wrong either, he knew far too well." He picked her up, "come on we better head back to see how your brothers doing all alone." He chukkled, "you know how he is, gotta get his hands into anything and everything."

Evelin nodded as she looked back to him. "He always gets me to fix whatever he did so that he doesn't get caught." She smiled and put a small finger to her lips. "But.. don't say I told you so..." She looked forward again as they moved through the crowds she saw that woman again, but this time sitting down and looked to be reading a paper. "Daddy.." The woman looked pristine, perfect. Under her long grey robe that hid her body she saw the woman had pure white hair with silvery shimmer. Then with a closer look around her eyes she noticed she had some tattoo-looking symbols on the sides of her eyes.. just like where her mommy had her small birthmarks. Her eyes looked pretty scary, though. Like they were white-out. Then Evelin came to recognised the face, but not the expression. "It's mommy." It looked just like her mother but with different colouring.. almost as if the pigment had all but faded from her. Evelin suddenly wriggled out of her fathers grasp and ran through the crowds. "It's mommy!"

*Shortstraw quickly ran after Evelin, "Evelin wait! No..." he slowed and noticed what evelin was seeing and stopped in his tracks. Frozen there. To him it was like the world wasn't even moving. It did look like keria... just diffrent. He however shook it off and crouched to evelin, "come on hun..." He was alittle embariced, "i'm sorry mam..." he picked up Evelin but looked back... he wanted to say it but knew if he was wrong he would look like a total a**. However now he was reminded of keria again, and it was starting to saden him again.

The woman seemed a little surprised as the two approached her, and she looked to them both, confused. "Oh.. it's fine.. I'm sorry if I did anything.." She smiled, just as Kiera would. Evelin's expression fell as she stared at the woman. But... it looked just like her. "Mommy?" She questioned, also confused. She didn't understand how this woman wouldn't recognise her. This was her mother! The woman looked to her apologetically and yet sweetly. "I'm sorry, dove. I'm not your mother." Evelin frowned. "Mommy called me dove.." She looked down. The woman stood up sadly. "Oh... oh I'm sorry you must have lost your mother..." She looked to Shortstraw. "I apologise for provoking anything.. that wasn't my intention. Is this your daughter?" She looked to Evelin with a smile, gently touching her cheek. "What's your name, sweetheart?" Evelin looked away stubbornly. "You know. Because you're my mommy." The woman sighed sadly and took her hand away. "Maybe it's best if I go." It even sounded like her, even with the words she used. Was her mother playing a mean joke? Because she didn't like it.

*AS soon as her heard her voice he knew too. Just the wask she spoke. He looked to Evelin, "sorry hun but it's not exacly who you think." He however did give her a small falsh of, roll with it. He however looked to the women, "it's alright... however... do you mind if i ask a odd... question?" He razed a brow, "by any chance are you ... new in town. Perhaps staying in a hotel?"

The woman looked back to Shortstraw surprised as she blinked. "Oh.. well yes. As it happens I am new here. In fact I don't really know much about anything around here. That's why I was reading a newspaper." She smiled. "I'm staying in the inn, yes. It was rather strange actually, they gave me a free room. However I haven't even done anything here yet." She looked down. "Maybe this place is like he said." She fumbled her hands together. "Oh.. I'm sorry. I seem to have rambled a little. You asked me a simple question." Evelin stared at the woman with a concentrated face as the woman held out a pasty pale hand. "My name is Deus, it's a pleasure to meet you."

*Shortstraw took her hand, "shortstraw... and i hope you dont mind but I would like to call you keria. You look alot... like her." He smiled and pulled some keys out and placed it into her hand, "i'm the prince of the land and all so welcome to Hazy city..." he smiled, "and... it may be strang for a person lik eme to hand somthing out like this but... theres a house not far from here up the road... two story. It's way more comfortable then a inn and should have all you need..." He smiled, "feel free to stay there." He looked to Evelin, then back, "it was nice meeting you. I'll see you around." He turned and headed away then once out of her sight he suddenly stopped and pulled himself out of the way of the people beside a building and put evelin down as she squtted, "your right. That could be your mother. However it seems there are some diffrent things. And it also seems she cannot remember us either right now. So we will have to work at this." He smiled, "but dont tell anyone okay. This is our little secrite for now." He nodded, "Can you keep a secrite Evelin?"

The woman looked into her hand at the keys and seemed astonished. She thought about it before concluding. "Shortstraw... What an odd name.." She whispered to herself as she brought her hand back under her cloak and went to head back to the inn to rest. Evelin frowned to her father. "But.. can I tell brother?" She looked to him. "I can't keep anything from him. He'll find out." She seemed hopeful at least. "You think that really could be mommy? Why can't she remember us? Why did she look so strange?"

*Shortstraw shied, "tell you what. You cant tell your brother yet. Okay. But maybe later once we are sure." He nodded, "Your a smart girl so i'm sure your understand. Your mom went to a diffrent place when somthing happened. And she changed for some reasion. Now she cant rmember us probably becse of the change. Thats all the information we will have to investigate." He stood up, "if i'm right though I think i have a single way of knowing all we need to know. Thats why i gave her the keys too our old house." He picked her up and started walking home. "That way maybe... she will find somthing." He looked to her, "but untill we are sure it's your mom dont tell anyone. For now not even your brother. We can tell him when we are sure. For now, lets just do what we alwasy do okay." He kissed her, "your understand all this stuff soon too. We're going to both find out together."
