Fredrich gave Daniel a wary stare. Finally, he sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "You shouldn't be this insightful at your age. Can't you be naive like Julian." He put the phone to his ear. "Cameron, pick up some Halloween make-up while you're there. I'll... dress up." He hung up just as Cameron squealed with excitement and sighed. This was going to be a long day.

The detective let out a sigh again. That child was too observant. He was going to grow up to be one hell of a man. Wait. What was Daniel about to do? Was a child going to touch a sharp razor?
"Wait. No. Daniel, don't touch Daddy's razor!" he called out and quickly hurried after him.

"I can't believe it finally happened! The great Fredrich Waltz is going to dress up for Halloween!" Cameron laughed as he applied make-up to the proud Austrian's face.
"Shut up!" seethed Fredrich, who got laughed at in reply.
"Man, if only Hayden were here. I'm totally sending him a picture."
"At least I won't be dressed up as a monkey."

As the adults bickered, Julian, or the mini Jason, walked over to Daniel. "What are you supposed to be?" he asked snidely, though his arrogant expression was hidden behind his mask.

Julian lifted his mask so he could make a disgusted face. "Eww, why would you want girls? Being scary during Halloween is cool! It gets more candy!" he said proudly. When he opened his eyes, he noticed that Daniel was gone and huffed. Then he found himself tackled to the ground. Whining, he turned his head and glared at Daniel. "Get off of meee!" he yelled while flailing.

"Shut up." Fredrich seethed.
"Don't let him get to you, he's new to all this." Cameron snickered at Ellery. "Fredrich finally agreed to dress up for Halloween, and since he's so tall, it's only right that he's Jack Skellington, right?"

Those imaginary pedals, however, turned out to be Julian's head. "Stop it! I'm not a car! Stop driving me!" he whined while continuing to flail. When his head got stomped on again, he growled and yelled out, "Moooooooom!"

"Nothing." Fredrich said flatly, clenching his jaw when Cameron put eye shadow over one closed eye.
"Heh, does that answer your question?" he snickered over his shoulder then began drawing lines over the detective's mouth.

"It wasn't my fault!" Julian cried out in his defense. "I was ambushed!"

Fredrich growled and glared away, only to get a half-mask set over the upper half of his face. "There." he heard Cameron say. "Now you look just like how Jack Skellington would if he were human. Get up and let's check you out!"
Sighing, he did as he was told. With his height and build, he pulled the costume off well. The thin, stripped suit hugged against his body and exposed his strong torso. His face was colored white, and his black hair was spiked and dyed white with black stripes. His dark blue eyes were hidden behind black colored contacts and black shadows. Despite his frown, a line was drawn across his face that made a large, stripped smile. He was the ultimate combination of frightening and sexy.
Cameron whistled at the sight. "If I wasn't a taken man I'd be on you like bees on honey!" he laughed, ignoring the glare he got.

Grumbling to himself, Julian wandered over to Daniel so he could see how angry he was. "How come I had to get in trouble for what you did?" he grumbled and kicked the ground. It was so unfair! All he did was defend himself! He hated everything!

"We should be as soon as the little tykes are done hassling each other." Cameron said while putting his gorilla mask on. This was still humiliating, yes, but at least he wasn't a fairy princess or a freakishly tall Tim Burton character.

Speaking of which, Fredrich had his arms crossed and watched the two kids bicker. Could young boys be attracted to each other, or was he just imagining things? He must just be surrounded by too much homosexuality.
Pausing as he felt eyes on him, the detective turned to find Ellery staring. "What?" he grunted.

Fredrich opened the door for the other two to enter, watching them excitedly walk in. He wasn't sure whether they were excited about the family bonding or the gift opening.

Fredrich had just gotten back from fetching his own gift when Ellery handed him one. He gazed at it curiously then took it and opened it. "Ah." he blinked and held up the watch. "A Roger Dubuis. I've been wanting one of these." he noted and put the watch on his wrist. It fit nicely, and the sight of the large gears was somehow reassuring to him. Smiling softly to Ellery, the detective handed him his own gift. "Merry Christmas." he said back. It was black rectangular box with a necklace holding a ring on it. "It's not an engagement, not yet, but it proves that we're definitely not just a couple."
