May I suggest having demona etc stumble upon a poster advertising the fangsgiving school event and deciding to go? that'd work to jam them into the scene and encourage interaction. I think Falconnie wrote something in the school thread, so pop over there and have your characters "walks into creepateria". Hey presto, interaction shall follow! Because you've positioned characters where they need to be. It's kinda like setting up a chess board, you need to move the pieces into the right positions. So shove characters where other characters are, be as contrived as you need to be. "just happens to be here because plot" is as good an excuse as any in my book hah.
I intend to have both my boys show up at the creepateria eventually bwhahah.
In a related but not directly note... may I address the issue of writers block and this seeming feeling of nerves some players have expressed.
I've already rambled about disappearing without a word and how rude that is, and Drake talked about placing your characters in a position where interaction could happen (They only need to show up in a scene, they don't have to do anything more than stand there lol)
But we haven't addressed this excuse of "writers block" some players throw around when they don't reply for days or weeks.
This is a casual bloody roleplay, it's not a great work of literature. Your posts do not need to long, flowery or amazingly writter, they simply have to provide something another player can respond to.
If you can't think of something beautifully written and literary, nobody cares! Just write any old dross. Write "goes to the shops" for all we care, so long as you're REPLYING.
If players don't reply, rp doesn't happen right? And it's not very fair to leave another player hanging mid conversation/scene/plot thread due to some neurosis regarding your post.
If you aren't sure of something, either ask or just gloss it over. Nothing is really set in stone and there's a nice edit button you can use if you do get something wrong. Nobody is going to care, they'll just politely inform you of the error... right?
So come on guys, enough being antsy. None of us are being judged damnit, and if we are, screw those people judging us. We're here to have fun and rp. This shouldn't be a frustrating exercise surely?
Don't about getting it "wrong", people seriously DON'T CARE and would rather just see a reply than perfection.

On this sunday, we're moving the rp forward to Bleak Friday. Either cap off your Fangsgiving plotlines this weekend, or arrange with your rp partners to continue them during the Maul madness!

Important RP Note:
After Bleak Friday, Saturday in the roleplay is an 'open sandbox day.' That means I don't have anything formally planned to try to coordinate everyone into roleplaying together.
Chase Q is hosting a 'backyard monster wrestling' event at his farm, but that is it.
I encourage everyone to talk to each other and think up some things to do with each other on Saturday. You can take advantage of ANY thread in the guild.
Essentially, I want to see what you will do with zero guidance, prodding, or opportunities being laid out by me. It is a lot of effort for me to lay out scenarios and have no one reply/interact. Let's see if you guys working it out for yourselves is more effective.

I'm sorry, everyone, but unfortunately I'm leaving Gaia. You've all been wonderful, but it's just not the Gaia I remember. I'm not entirely dropping off the face of the Earth, I've left a few links to places where I can be contacted here, you just need to tell me who it is if you do. Ok, so guys...
my pc is kaput. Well, it's been kaput for a while but I got windows running again, only to figure out it's my ram... least I hope it's my ram.
While i'm fixing that i'm stuck with limited access to a laptop and my phone (i hate writing anything on my phone, the keyboard suuuucks)
SO I may be a little slower with my replies. I'll try to check things regularly though while I try to fix my pc.
I also am suffering quite badly because apparently heat is a migraine trigger for me. Greeeat. So that's now cinemas and all of summer I can't deal with. Stupid bloody brain.
So because we're in the middle of a hot, wierdly changeable summer (it's raining on and off, then blazing heat) it means i'm doped up on painkillers that don't do jack and feeling pretty damn awful. This means that if my replies are a bit... uh... illogical or punctuation is a bit iffy it's probably because i'm high as a kite on strong opiates.
But i'll be trying super hard to actually respond. I just might be a bit slow. Hopefully i'll feel better soon because on day three of this headache, i'm pretty annoyed. It's also my birthday and I don't want to feel sick on my birthday damnit! that's not cool!
But enough of my whining. I'm gonna go shower and take more meds. I'll reply to people later tonight when i'm not busy entertaining people.
