He sighed internally, looks like her mind was made up, but he planned to try again later. Eric looked down with her. He didn't notice her stomach pressing against his until she told him. "Already interrupting us too."

Jill chuckled at them both. "I'd say that's enough talk for today, why don't you two get some well deserved rest? The guest room is across the hall to your right."

Eric nodded and lifted Nina into his arms again, he took just a bit longer to get steady, Nina's added weight wasn't helping. "Have a pleasant night, Mrs. Frost, you too, Jack."

With that said, he headed to their guest room, there was a rather pleasant winter feel about it, especially in the moonlight that shined through the window.

The Frosts waved them off and looked to their rather quiet daughter. They couldn't help but laugh a little. She was so tired, she wrote a note that said she was happy that her friends were safe. Jack picked up his daughter and took her to her room.

"Even though you've grown in body, you're still just a child at heart sometimes. Don't ever lose that, Eca."

Eric clapped his hands amusingly. "Nicely done, Mina." He said as he began to take off his armor and put on something more comfortable to sleep in. "You really got that whole waddling thing down."

"I see, I never would had thought that." He picked up the inventory box and took out another shirt for her to wear, handing it to her. "Yeah, you did kind of go all out and-" He stopped mid sentence, noticing there was a clear difference in the size of her belly. Must be a Duon thing. "I know you said she's taking up room, but it's only now I truly noticed how much after you took off all your armor."

Eric scratched his head over that, just looking at her, she was getting big now. It was said before sure, but this time was different. "No kidding, you sure got lucky there." He sat down next to her, happy to be with Mina as she bonded with her child. Nina gave her mother a few punches, boasting at her new size also giving her newfound strength, at the moment to harass her mother with.

"Yeah, like me if what your mother says is true, Nina." Chuckled Eric, he smiled upon hearing Mina's laughter. He lightly poked her belly to tease both mother and daughter. The teasing only made her retaliate back with small pokes of her own. "She keeps this up, she's going to prove she'll be a handful for us both before she's even born."

Eric nodded some, that was usually how things went. He'd hope Nina would not be born before this little adventure was over. He hated to admit it, but she was safer in there than the outside world, and lending her power to Mina saved their lives a lot. He continued on his little game with Nina for some time, at first to keep her mother giggling, but soon in competition with her. "Call me paranoid, but I swear she waiting for me to give up first. We keep this up though and you're bound to have a sore spot tomorrow."

Eric smiled when Mina called him the father, he really didn't feel much like it was his own, but he grew to love Nina as if she was. "Yeah, your daddy. We'll play again soon Nina, but its time to sleep." He leaned over and gave Mina belly a kiss, just bellow her belly button and looked at Mina. The smile didn't leave his face soon, he wondered on how in such a short time did she make him feel so happy again.

Eric thought it over for a few before answering her with a nod. He patted her on the back for awhile. "Yeah, over a lot of things. I don't want to lose you Mina. I just can't lose another person I love this closely in my life again."
