Spinning the both of them a little as she stuck out Aklin as they spun around hitting the presents that were around them, they were being very bad and she wasn't going to just let them interrupt there dance with more confetti-snow flying around. Everything had happened so fast - one moment her friends were on stage, paired up in a way she hadn't quite anticipated but hey, Homecoming Court was Homecoming Court, except this wasn't the prom, was it? All the JOY was addling her senses.
It was almost a relief when the first present bit her on the leg. She yelped and flailed at the thing ineffectually with the candy cane Bix had given her. Oh, god, there were tons of them...

We want to bite! Kouki said with a combination of delight and sheer relief; all the JOY was freaking him out a little bit. Madison gave the gifts a wibbly look, then yelped again as another one bit her on the ankle.
Fine. No more Ms. Nice Hunter.
Madison summoned Kouki and swung, eyes narrowing with sudden concentration. Gifts went flying, along with bits of shredded wrapping paper and ribbon. Yes, yes, yes, Kouki hissed with every strike. Bite them all!

Cass swung Nicodemus, sending more gifts flying - crashing into the floor and crumpling underneath how mighty she felt right then!
Even if it had only been two presents swarming that time. NO MATTER. SHE WAS MIGHTY.

There were presents running everywhere, all over everyone. "Man Santa really has dropped the ball this year, maybe the coal fairy took over or something?" Leon blurted out as the festivly wrapped bundles of terror began to hobble over to him, and watched in horror as one of the things greedily ate his glass and his alcohol. It didn't take the naughty present long to begin staggering around like some kind of lazy roomba or inebriated solid snake in a box which had the boxer in a fury and chasing the gift down. "Hey HEY, Get back here with my spiked eggnog!"
The problem with chasing down anything while intoxicated was the fact that the ground was still... Not. and hard as the rather log like looking present tripped him and sent the hunter sprawling to the ground. And Nid just laughed at him like the kind of rude hangover reminder he had to be in his head.

It still didn't stop Leon from crawling around on his hands and knees and chasing after the alcoholic giftbox. pulling out the inner reindeer instincts he never knew, he charged through the duo of boxes blocking his path. "OUT OF THE WAAAAYYYYY"- *thump*
he found out that Santa did bring him those barbells he wanted for Christmas, the hard way. It took a moment to lose the stagger and shake the hit off but the boxes still stood there, crumpled, but still in place, it was time for the life hunter reindeer to make a detour.

While Leon loved the idea of more head and brain trauma and finding out what the color blue tastes like, there was still a box that needed to get its corrugated cubed butt kicked. and the two boxes in front was not going to let him pass.

It didn't take long for the sound of heavy machinery to ring out when Leon began to carve up the naughty boxes and their contents with a heavy swing.
and then gravity showed him why heavy objects over your head was a bad thing to leon.
he needed more alcohol. now.

The problem with crawling around with a live chainsaw was all the shrapnel that it caused and of course the noise it let out. And the packages that surrounded Leon in wonder scurried away before he could even swing the device at them.
The lack of violence this christmas was astonishing,
there was no punching all the things this year, only nothing but songs and hugs.

And so the reindeer hunter began to charge again and bellow at the boxes in his way as they committed present kamikaze on him, showering the boxer in a spray of wrapping paper and ribbons.

Madison gritted her teeth as another wave of animate presents surged over the crumpled, partially-unwrapped corpses of their fallen brethren. The teeth really were the least of her worries: one wrapped ribbons around her legs, snapping them away to leave burns behind. Another simply barreled into her, one corner leading to nearly knock the wind out of her.
This was not festive at ALL.
