Chase Henrick ~ Ravenclaw Chaser ::: Second Year ~ Even though this was the second loss for Ravenclaw, Chase felt... happy. A smile appeared on his face, his spirits oddly rejuvenated. He hung his broom over his shoulder and strolled in the direction of Hogwarts castle. "The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration." - Pearl S. Buck

Shina sighed and spiraled down to the ground. Well, at least she wouldn't be visiting the hospital wing this time. And she had done all she could, the Gryffindor Seeker had just gotten to the Snitch too soon. "Good game!" she called, then headed for the showers. Just as Tristain thought she had spotted a fleck of gold shooting across the sky, a loud holler pulled her attention away, her eyes growing wide as her heart skipped a beat.
He had caught it.
With a loud sigh, Tristain's fear turned to sorrow, and her shoulders slumped. She watched as the Gryffindor's rejoiced with their entire team, thrilled to have won their second straight match of the year. However, that only meant that Ravenclaw--that she, the seeker--had lost their second straight match of the year.
In a quiet voice, Tristain congratulated a few of the opposing team members as she descended to the ground. Landing without a thud, she dismounted her broom and made her way in towards the locker rooms. "Love to faults is always blind, always is to joy inclined. Lawless, winged, and unconfined, and breaks all chains from every mind."- William Shakespeare

яεgrετ┃яσι ηστнιηg ♦ ғεαя┃яσι ησ σηε ♦ ταkε prιdε ιη┃яσι εvεяyτнιηg With a smile that reflected his excitement, Colton cocked his arm behind his head, bat in hand, and readied himself to hit the upcoming bludger. Just as he was a few short feet away from the ball, a loud call from behind him had him whirling in the opposite direction.
Sam had caught the snitch for the second time—third including try-outs, and Colton's smile grew three times as large. "Nice catch, Sam! You're really making a name for yourself, aren't you!" he called playfully, closing the distance between he and his team's seeker to give him a friendly pat on the back.
"Good game, everyone! Good game!" Colton made eye contact with the players of the other team as well, just so they would know he was making an effort at sportsmanship. As he headed over to his team's chasers to give them a more personal congratulation, he caught sight of his sister out of the corner of his eye.
"Hey, Trissy! Hey! Trissy!"Colton's booming voice thundered over the pitch, which is the reason why he found himself so surprised that Tristain didn't so much as glance in his direction. Increasing his speed, he dove down towards the ground, jumping from his broom rather clumsily and tearing off after her. She had nearly made it off the pitch when he reached her. "Hey...good game, sis—" Tristain opened her mouth to protest, but he cut her off by holding his hand up. "Really—you did amazing. I know I always tease you about girls not being able to fly, but you really proved me wrong today, Tris. I'm proud of you." With a renewed smile, Colton wrapped his monstrous arms around his younger sister, not even thinking about the danger of Roi as he was wrapped up in the feeling of bliss. нσω dσ yσu ғιgнτ α ωαя ғяσм вστн sιdεs┃ωнεn σηℓy σηε cαη ωιη?

↜Heather Stevia Hawthorn↝| Single | Second Year | Beater |—¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤—It was the perfect day for a Quidditch match. Warm temperatures, cloudy skies, and a slight breeze filled the atmosphere. Onto the pitch strutted a second year student. Dressed in yellow and black, the Hufflepuff Beater carried her old broom to the center of the pitch. It seemed as if she had beaten everyone else to the field, given that no one else was there. Once there, she set her broom down and pulled two black ribbons out of her back pocket, and pulled her hair into two pigtails on either side of her head, like she usually did for a Quidditch match. She tied each ribbon into a delicate bow, then pulled her goggles down onto her face. She was ready to rock this party. Hufflepuff vs Slytherin. Sure, the last time Slytherin had played, they were able to hit several Chasers with Bludgers, as well as steal the Quaffle many times. In the end, the green and silver team had taken the victory right under the noses of the Ravenclaw team. Heather wouldn't let that happen today. The Hufflepuff streak was already 0-1, losing the match against Gryffindor several weeks ago. They would not lose again. Not today. Not next week. Never. Getting on her broom, she flew up and around the pitch, circling around until she was hovering over the center of the field. It was there that she would wait until the match had begun. {OOC: Game change! XD}Wearing—¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤—

Blood pounded in his ears, his heart raced and thundered as it berated against his chest while heavy, paced breaths exploded his lungs with oxygen. Adrenaline sparked every synapse in his brain, only just barely able to resist the grin breaking across his lips. He lived for the thrills in life, for moments like these. Ruffling back his raven hair to slip on his goggles before strapping in his bludger bays to his forearms and snatching his broom hurrying out the locker rooms and down the narrow passage to the heart of the stadium, the field. Striding across the green grass, the fans roared in his ears. That grin finally unfurled as he kicked off into the skies.

Brushing back thick, long blonde hair behind her head, Belle tied her hair securely, pinning the stray locks into place. Even where she stood under the stands in the locker room, she could hear them, the crowd. She bit her lip, nervous, this would be the first game against Devin now that they were a couple, and to make matters interesting, she was quite sure he was going against her, head to head. Grazing gentle fingers against the sleek ivory wood of her Nimbus Galaxy, the gift that Devin had given her.
In a few moments, Belle took off into the skies with lithe, gentle motions from her agile broom.

Jasmine Acacia Fourth Year Slytherin Keeper ║▌│█│║▌║││█ ▌█ ▌█ ▌ ║▌│█│║ Here she was, nearly a year to the day after Erianthe had died. Jasmine had made it, but there were still a few matters to attend to. The first being today's match against Hufflepuff. Being honest with herself, Jasmine thought of today's game as a bit of a joke. After all, Gryffindor had crushed the Badgers when they played. That would be the game that would give her the most trouble. Not only because of the other team's talent, but because of the amount of pride involved.
Jasmine pushed her thoughts out of her mind as she made sure her Tinderblast was working properly. Doing so always did help to clear her mind. As a keeper, it was important to have one of those, otherwise, surprises could happen. The fourth year tied her hair up on her head and put on her helmet. She then joined her teammates up in the sky. ║▌│█│║▌║││█ ▌█ ▌█ ▌ ║▌│█│║ "Grief is not as heavy as guilt, but it takes more away from you." Life 1. Life 2. Life 3.

Alan Powell - Quidditch Rerferee Alan walked onto the field carrying the case. He sat the chest on the ground and smiled. He kicked the chest and the magic balls flew out. He picked up the Quaffle and tossed it into the air. "Let the match begin".

At the signal of the whistle and shout, Belle was of the first to shoot up into the air with a jolting start. The quaffle was tossed, but she didn't wait to see whose hands had captured it, instead, she focused her vision of pale green misted eyes in pursuit of the golden snitch. She soared up above the game, hoping to avoid catching the eye of any beater or rogue bludger as her hunt for the tiny elusive ball began. Behind her, the crowd burst to life at the start of the game and their cheers deafened her ears. But she never heard a word of it. The crash of the wind splitting at the wake of her speeding broom as she became nothing more than a petite green blur.

One quick tug on her gloves then the blonde fifth year took off towards the launched quaffle. She hadn't made it last time but that didn't mean she wouldn't make it this time. Dominic burst forward with astounding power, cutting through the winds as he whipped up above his team. The chasers all narrowed in on the quaffle, one rolling to the side for the chance to pass if his team had caught the ball. He could hardly discern who from who as his head snapped into the direction of a speeding bludger zooming his way. He hurled backwards, waiting for the waiting for the beastly ball to gain speed as he twisted his arm back and aimed his bat straight for the Hufflepuff chaser, Dhylan.
