Daylia couldn’t help but smile and shake her head. The 90’s weren’t even all that great, but to each their own she supposed. Now though he was questioning her own word choice. "You can’t tell I’m Italian?" She asked Dimitri jokingly. There was no way Daylia was Italian, especially with her complexion. "How do you think I got these gunshot scars?" This was of course not the reason she had them, but felt it went will with the lie. She had doubted Dimitri even noticed them, after all here something like that was normal sadly enough.

Daylia couldn’t help but laugh now. Playboy apparently had a whole list of off things to say.
"You’re the kind of person who looks up those list of things to do to annoy people on the internet, aren’t you?" She couldn’t help but ask. She had seen so many herself over the years and the ‘things to do at Walmart’ had always been her favorite. Of course she could never imagine doing it herself, but some of the suggestions had a tendency to make her giggle. Of course there wasn’t much time to giggle at things after that.

The chaos had broken out at the school. At least Daylia wasn’t the only one caught off guard with the alarms and other various noises. Moments after she had gotten to her feet, Dimitri was on his own as well. After she radioed Narcissa, he had launched into explaining a few things to her. Confusion had crossed her face. They seemed to have Dimitri pretty worked up already. It didn’t take long for the response from Narcissa to confirm the attack, though of course she relayed the information from Frost about avoiding them. The Alpha’s had already broken that order, so why would Daylia follow it. As Narcissa gave her location, she knew the British woman was on the same page as the Alpha’s.
"Gotcha." Daylia responded simply. She agreed whole heartedly with Cissa.

Dimitri didn’t want to leave Daylia alone in her room, not that she would have stayed anyway. She tried to give him a small smile, but it was far too forced.
"Please, like I would stay anyway." She was already on his heels, slipping on a pair of sneakers on her way out of her room. It was then that Scott’s transmission had come over the coms, telling them to seek out their team leaders. She already knew where Cissa was. "Hey, be careful and don’t do anything stupid." She called to Dimitri as they finally parted ways to find their leaders.

The Chameleon went into stealth mode as she left the mansion to find her team leader. She knew nothing about these machines, and this was her only protection. She could feel the change in her skin as she moved, her body trying to keep up with the change in scenery. At the moment, anyone who would look at her, they would see the distortion of her form. It wasn’t her best attempt to blend in, but it was all she could force her body to do at the moment.

Daylia almost felt relief as her team members came into view. They were all focused. She had received the orders from Solaris, but of course the Chameleon had no way to attack the hulking forms of metal. The best she could offer was a distraction. Her heart was hammering away in her chest as she tried to center herself, allowing her skin to return to normal as she followed the others lead, trying to stay out of sight so the robots couldn’t hit them outright.
"Solaris." Daylia called simply.

Ivy clenched the ground when Veritas crashed into an oak tree near by, having been flung away from the Sentinel rather roughly. She felt the tree cave in and nearly break from the impact of the mutant with an adamantium core, felt it as if she had been the one to sustain the damage. The floramancer gasped and found it hard to catch her breath but she refused to back down. Within moments her hard work broke through the ground and pierced through the metal machine before tripping it up and giving her teammates the opening they needed to turn off the robot, permanently.

As Wolverine and Veritas hacked and slashed the Sentinel into completely non-working bits fit for the scrap yard, Ivy shakily stood up to her feet and basked in the sun, feeling the solar energy moving throughout her body after she absorbed it through her exposed skin. She moved towards the two after they finished, nodding her head at the compliment and question Veritas had addressed to her. With a few waves of her hands, the grass around the fallen Sentinel grew and engulfed it, wrapping around its parts and pulling in several directions completely and utterly removing any chance the Sentinel had of repairing itself. She had no doubt the guys had indeed neutralized the threat, but Ivy had learned in Limbo not to leave those sort of things to chance. Once the pieces were scattered, Ivy turned to her fellow Omega with a smirk on her face and a hand on her hip, feeling re-energized after those few minutes in the sun.

"If you can keep them distracted and off my back, I can do it all day long Veritas." Her tone was laughing and her eyes twinkled, and Ivy wondered if her teammate was as sully as his older counterpart tended to be, or if he was more laid back and could take a joke or two. She moved to follow Wolverine's lead just as sounds of fighting grew louder, closer. The older mutant was right, after all. There were still plenty of Sentinels to crush into tin cans.

"I'm ready to recycle these Cybermen (Dr Who) rejects, how about you guys? Whoa," Ivy rocked as the ground shook slightly and she threw her arms out to the side reflexively, shifting her feet to retain her balance. Just up ahead she come make out the others do their part against the machines.

"Looks like the others are having fun without us. Let's not keep them waiting." Though Ivy kept her tone light and joking, she understood how deep s**t they were actually in, especially if the Sentinels called for and received reinforcements. The last time she remembered the machines attacking, the Institute had fought them tooth and nail to victory, but their losses had been far too steep for what little peace they had won.(Memory not applicable to this timeline.)

"At least I've chosen a side."

Alphas
Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity
Location: Kitchen

Their small group had already fallen into step, Leo taking down the sentinel that had launched a net at her, while Roland moved off to engage another robot that was heading in their direction. No doubt more would come their way with an actual registered, and dangerous, mutant amongst them. She watched as Roland scaled the back of the machine, though her attention turned to her own incoming sentinel as she continued attempts to make sense of the whole situation.

It wasn’t working.

Raine rushed forwards to disable one of the machines that got a little too close for comfort, using her powers to stall it as best she could. As far as she was concerned, the machine shouldn’t have been able to withstand such a direct blast of electricity, but in the end, it was worth it if it would buy them a few minutes.

Their small group stood together, sentinels bearing down, as Leo threw around words like “probable cause” and government. It made her grit her teeth, holding back the words that she wished so desperately she could throw at him. This wasn’t something she signed up for – she came here to get an education and training where she could assimilate into society. Now, she was being targeted for something that she had absolutely no control over – she’d never asked for these abilities. She’d get on just fine without them.

But none of that mattered.

Kat appeared on the scene, answering the question that she had posed to Leo in a silky voice. She’d be lying if she said she knew that they were – even when she had a name to put to the face, she still felt like she knew nothing about what was happening around her. The shape-shifter spoke with Leo, stating that she could disclaim all involvement in the sentinels’ presence here, Raine’s eyes flitting between the two of them and a slight scowl.

Raine hated being left in the dark with things.

Normally, she was the one with all the answers. She was the one that knew what was going on before most others had a chance to figure it out. But right now, amongst two people with a history that she could hardly even fathom, she felt…stupid.

The sound of Roland being silenced caught her attention, the brunette firefly turning in time to see a bolt of energy slam into her temporary teammate. Throwing her arms forward, the firefly released a bolt of electricity towards the offender, her steps moving her towards Roalnd as he examined his chest for injury. She stood next to him as the machine tried to back away from them, looking down to verify for herself that he was alright as he called for them to go ahead and get the backtracking machine on the ground.

Turns out, you’re just a silly boy with a death wish. Are you sure you’re alright,” she asked him, relieved to see his “natural” armor beginning to overtake the hole on his chest once more. That had to be a good sign – she knew nothing about his ability, given the fact that they were not on the same time and she had never fought with him before. He seemed like the “rush first, ask questions later” type, anyways. In this kind of situation that was a dangerous mentality.

Leo’s voice came over their communication devices, instructing them of what he knew, and stating that they should aim for the head so they could do some internal damage. She couldn’t help but feel like he was talking directly to her when he stated that only then could they really fry the thing. At least he was finally starting to get them usable information.

The sentinel that she’d frozen in place before started to move once more, though Leodid his best to dispatch of it with his powers and acrobatic abilities. Again, worry spread across her features, however, as she saw another one of her teammates sent flying by one of these machines.

It was starting to feel like they really were no match for them.

They could hardly take one down, and from the sound and rumble of the ground, more were arriving. Hazel eyes examined the disaster zone around them, heat from lasers, explosions, and no doubt the general operation of the machines threatening them palpable in the air, causing a thin layer of sweat to form across her brow.

Suddenly, her hand closed around her mouth, Raine managing to turn and stagger a step or two away from Roland before her stomach gave a mighty heave. Between the lingering hangover and now all the excitement, and the heat, it was a wonder she hadn’t lost it earlier.

As if she needed to give everyone another reason to think she was useless around here.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the sentinel that threw Leo off of it move to stomp its massive foot down on him, though the animal mimic managed to just get out of the way. One hand braced her weight against her bended knee, the other extending towards him to release a concentrated ball of electricity at the machine’s general region – in her current state, she’d be lucky to hit the side of a barn, let alone the head of a machine that loomed stories above them.

The electricity ball managed to find some form of its target, electricity crackling over the metal form as it connected with the sentinel’s shoulder joint.

For now, she had stopped hurling, straightening up to see the sentinel extending its glowing hand towards her releasing an energy bolt in her direction. She started to scream, though it was knocked out of her as the force of the beam knocked her back. Surprisingly, she wasn’t dead. At least that was surprising to her. But what was more surprising was the steady fizz of electricity surrounding her, Raine feeling her internal stores of electricity brimming to capacity. It was almost as if she’d managed to absorb the beam, and it made her feel more energized.

That had never happened before.

The static in the air around her made the ends of her hair fan out, skin steadily sparkling with stored electricity as it rippled through the air surrounding her. Forming another ball of electricity in her hands, she let it fly towards the machine, the heat from the raw electricity hitting the metal body heating the metal to a low red glow. It knocked the sentinel back a step or two, Raine stepping towards it once more and letting a large beam of electricity split through the air, connecting with the machine’s head.

The metal sizzled as she broke the connection, the sentinel slipping to it’s knee joints as she continued to make her way over to it.

Renaissance Man, are you alright,” she questioned, coming to a stop next to him, but not so close where she would shock him. That was the last thing they needed – she didn’t want to accidentally harm anyone on their own team. She recalled that Roland had been calling for help with the sentinel of his own, turning her gaze towards him and readying another attack, in case it hadn’t been disposed of yet.

They needed more on the front lines.

Codename: AegisTeam: OmegaLocation: Back door to Firing RangeThinking: Hobbes acquired.

Michael closed the door to the back patio and sprinted his way down to the firing range, only to slow to a jog when he noticed a giant metal heap and Gabriel standing in front of it. Slowing down to a walk at this point he noticed something wasn't right, Gabriel was teetering and and seemed out of it.

Picking up his sprint again, Michael had taken into account that the nearby fighting was focused on high priority targets, this being the case, he flew under the radar as they'd most likely deal with the more prominent and threatening mutants present. Although, getting closer to one that just took one down on his own, may or may not be the best course of action.

He took off sprinting again and closed the distance between him and Alpha he was recently shooting with. He came up to him and noticed that he was eating a power bar and shaking. "Hey Hand Cannon, you alright man?" He asked. Gabriel explained to him the short scuffle he had with the sentinel and how his blood sugar was so low.

"I got some candy and snack bars that I keep in my rifle bag for Liz when she comes shooting with me." He said bending over, picking up his rifle, breaking it down and putting it in the bag, along with Hobbes who was a couple feet away. "I have orders to stay out of combat, so I'm headed up there," Michael pointed to the observation point. "And to be honest Thunder Cannon, it'd be nice to have some artillery up there with me. You can tag along if you want."

Michael picked up his rifle bag handing over a couple snack bars and a bag of skittles to Gabriel.

"Solaris, come in, this is Aegis, headed my way up to the observation point, gonna do what I do best." Michael shouldered his bag and sprinted back to the mansion. If Siege was going to come, he'd be a little late obviously needing to regain some stamina and focus before moving or he might pass out.

Getting into the elevator, Michael put the bag down and thought for a moment. If he took the bear with him, and he gets fired at in the Observation tower, the bear might take damage. He pulled out a pen and a piece of paper and Hobbes from his bag and set it in the corner and wrote it on the paper.

Stepping out of the elevator he pressed the button for the danger room and looked back at Hobbes as the door closed. On the paper it said To whomever gets this, take it to Elizabeth Brusch. If it's not there, I will destroy the existence around you and leave you to suffer. - Aegis. With a smirk he climbed the few flights of stairs and stood in the observation deck.

Good morning boys and girls, to all, Alpha and Omega, beginning and end, blah blah blah. Aegis reporting in as your eyes in the sky. He said on
An open channel to which all Alphas and Omegas would hear. Michael watched as a couple more Sentinels had been taken down and the fighting commencing. Everything seemed to be going fine. That was until Michael noticed something strange in the distance. He couldn't tell what it was, but something obscured the sky. Hard to see by someone with normal vision, but Michael being in tuned with light, he noticed the faint misconstruing of the sky.

He pulled his ballistic scope out and peered through it in the direction of the obscurity. He kept his eye on it it until it was about four kilometers away. He began distorting the light around it, and the swirling mess of colors illuminated six hulking figures.
"To all Alphas and Omegas, Six Sentinels are inbound, I'm disfiguring their cloaking abilities. They are the white illuminations in the sky flying towards the mansion. I repeat. Six Sentinels inbound, Marked by the white illumination." Michael keyed over the open channel to all Xmen with a communication device. Based on the destruction around them. And depending where they landed, s**t could very easily get real again.

The Sentinels split up as they finally got to the school grounds Two landed in the courtyard, and then two landed in both front and back of the mansion. Michael continued to illuminate them as they landed and then drew off his ability once he noticed they weren't distorting light anymore. He continued to watch and began running statistics and monitor everything that he could. Who woulda thought he'd be doing his Military Job again.

PERMISSION GRANTED BY SL TO DEPLOY THE SIX SENTINELS LIKE THAT.

PERMISSION GRANTED FROM FALLEN TO BOT GABE.

PERMISSION GIVEN TO BOT COMMUNICATION FROM MICHAEL IF SITUATION GRANTS/REQUIRES (Please let me know when do, if you do put dialogue I'd like to keep it true to character, just makes it easier to have you guys put it in your posts rather than me keep up with everyone)

Thomas grinned and nodded along with Blake's agreement that it wouldn't take long. "He does feel terrible." That would add on to how long it would take him. Thomas would honestly be surprised if it took another week. Not long after Thomas' story Blake graced him with the story of his 'mudball' in Minnesota. By the end of the story Thomas was near laughing hysterically at the story. "You sure know how to get in trouble. I swear it circles you like a vulture." Laughing again and shaking his head at his friend, Thomas spoke again. "I do believe you have just topped all my stories of minor mischief with that one story. I don't know if I should feel impressed or disappointed." Chuckling again his laughter started dieing down.

Hearing Tara comment on the nature of those sneaking back to their rooms he totally missed the insinuation that there had been a girl coming from his room. Blake mentioned having no hand in this and Thomas gave the cowboy a look that said he wasn't convinced. "Suuure you didn't." Tara continued about the dorms and Thomas raised an eyebrow. "I have no idea who was sneaking back to their rooms in the morning. Though I feel like you are insinuating I had something to do with it..." Suspicious gaze firmly planted on Tara he brushed off any unchaste comments and let the conversation move on. Lillian made her way over and after her greeting both Blake and himself replied back teasingly to the girl.

Lillian responded in kind and Thomas again chuckled. "I have my moments." Hearing the power mimic reply to Blake with something that was obviously flirting, Thomas nudged Blake in the side with his arm. "I do believe she was flirting with you Blake." Funny how he could pick up on those things when it didn't involve himself. Marcel responded to him and Thomas nodded in response. "I have had my fair share of neutral mornings." Blake threw in his own question and hearing Marcel answer Thomas smiled. "Prom is only as boring as you let it be. And you only wake up with a headache when you sample spiked punch. Usually anyway." There were exceptions to every rule. Waving to Marcel as he left Thomas turned back to the others.

Blake was quick to join in with his joking about the girls leaving so they could talk about them behind their backs. Tara responded with Lillian short after causing the healer to 'tsk' and shake his head. "I swear between those to and Aurelie all the new recruits are going to think I am some kind of massive pervert." Smiling to show he was at least partially joking, he was actually concerned about that. With the arrival of the giant robots Thomas voiced that he hoped it was Beast or Forge and Blake disagreed. "Call it wishful thinking I guess." Thomas mumbled in reply. As Bella arrived to look out the window and Blake and Thomas joined her it was Blake that confirmed the healer's worries. "Yeah..."

Trailing off Thomas just hoped that these Sentinels proved easier to deal with than the lot that had destroyed Genosha. If the island of mutants couldn't stop them what could mere students do? Pushing the thoughts out of his head he grimaced. Leaving to retrieve Gracie the reunion was not what he could have hoped for. She asked about the attack and he spoke a single word in response. "Sentinels..." Even saying the word left a sour taste in his mouth and made him nervous. Returning he let the others converse. Gracie responded in kind to his offer of being used as a human shield and Tara responded as well. Bella was quick to shoot that down however. Giving her a sad look he sighed. "Siren really it's okay. It's the least I can do. Not like I can put holes through them. I am... used to it."

The pain didn't stay physically with him for very long. If he could give his temporary health in exchange for keeping a teammate in one piece then he would do so. Falling silent and watching the other new arrivals and listening to Bella he sighed. This was going to be a long battle. "I don't have a syringe on me FYI. So my blood will have to be ingested to heal anyone. Unless someone happens to have one on them?" Most people didn't enjoy the taste of blood and he could sympathize. Watching the others engage the Sentinels made him feel useless and hearing Bella's command he hung back watching their surroundings. Watching the battle unfold he tried to remain positive.

It wasn't long before he spotted six illuminated figures approaching from the distance and hearing the broadcast message from Michael he watched to see which ones landed nearby. Two landed in the courtyard and seeing as one was off a little by itself Thomas yelled to Dimitri. "Playboy there is a lone sentinel off to the left. The rest of you be aware that two more sentinels just arrived here in the courtyard with us." Bella had mentioned him getting some distance to use his ability and therefore Thomas made the leap that the guy had a highly destructive mutation. He would keep and eye on the guy in case he needed assistance. Not that he could really assist him. He could warn Bella or something like that though. For the moment all the sentinels seemed to be ignoring him. Apparently a man that didn't seem hostile was low on the priority list. Go figure.

Either way Thomas was planning on remaining vigilant and the moment it looked like someone didn't see an attack coming for them he would spring into action. Whether that meant taking the hit for them or otherwise would be worked out in the moment.

Omega's "Black" Cat

Michelle Cole

"Sun Down, Friday Night,

User Image

"Dressed Up, out the door
Really ready for, one night
Maybe more
I like, I like"

"Red Strobe Light, hot coarse dirty minds
When you cross my way
I like, I like
Just you and I, touch at first sight"

Michelle smiled as she noticed a slightly familiar face (Jacen) walk in. She recalled him a little from the prom, even though no one probably was aware of her presence there. She nodded back at him as he asked a question while she also heard someone (Leonardo) respond back to her question, she took another sip of her Orange Juice."That's good, sir. Everything just feels...good for once?" Although Michelle thought that anyday was a good day, this particular day had felt good. Too good in her opinion. She finished eating her breakfast as she watched the others converse. She only smiled some more after drinking the rest of her Orange Juice and making her way to her coffee. She needed her caffeine in the morning.

She listened as Leo answered Jacen's question. She was really interested in what she had heard about his abilities, being able to mimic animals not through shapeshifting into them, but rather gaining their abilities. She did find it intriguing how he thought that bugs were more beneficial than many people assumed and he was right about that. If bugs were strong and really capable creatures when they were small, one could only imagine what they were like when they were larger. She thought that was truly a unique mutation. After getting ready to introduce herself, she noticed others coming in more importantly someone (Roland) asking if anyone wanted eggs while searching away in the fridge.
"I would have to decline on that offer." she thought to herself as she began to wash the dishes that she had used, placing them back in the appropriate drawers. As soon as she placed the coffee mug back in, her ears twitched slightly from the sound of a lot of metal clumping together after she heard large crashing sounds. At first she shrugged it off, but soon it was approaching them. "Does anyone else hear metal..." Her question was slightly cut off as she saw Leonardo going to the window from where the sound was coming from. She walked over there to him to look out as well. "So what are we looking fo....Oh. I thought I was going crazy for a second when I heard giant heaps of scrap approaching!" she went to grab her purse as the others had ran off elsewhere.

She smiled a little as her eyes turned a beautiful cat yellow. She turned to look as Jacen was the only one in the room at the time, before he got up and left out himself. "Well I am not sure about him, but I am more than capable of taking scrap metal down..." she said silently to no one in particular as she opened her purse and began to rummage through sighing as she realized that all, even the small pistol she kept in her purse for security reasons, were placed in the Armory. Being told not to engage the Sentinels by their headmistress, she left the purse on the table, only grabbing her phone. She wanted to record everything that was taking place at least. She walked out the kitchen, smiling as this day could not get any better. A nice sunny day and now another workout routine. Was there more to expect? She followed the footsteps and scents of Jacen coming across him talking to someone else (Leion) as he was leading smaller mutants off to somewhere safer. If she had to guess, it had to be the lower floor. Hearing their commander (Narcissa) on her comm link, she cursed mentally as she really needed some kind of arsenal. She looked at Jacen "Well I would love to go out there right now, but I doubt razor sharp nails not made out of metal or anything strong and extreme melee combat will help out in any way. I am going to get some weapons. Be back as soon as possible." With that, thanks to her mutation, she darted down the hall quickly to get to the lower floor.

As she made it to the lower floor, she looked around to see that the kids were all heading to the Danger Room. She followed along with them until she turned off in the other direction, heading to the armory. Looking back to see if anyone had caught notice, she bumped into someone else.

"Whoa now Chere. Where d' ya think ya going?"

Michelle looked up to see who it was that spoke in the Cajun voice. She saw that it was Gambit instead. She only chuckled as she was about to proceed straight through the Amory, only to be stopped by his staff. She chuckled a little and stopped. "Excuse me..." she said trying again, only to stopped again.

"I am afraid ya need permission for that." Michelle looked at him as if he was a little bit crazy. She thought that maybe she was hearing things wrong. "Oh I am sorry. When did anyone need permission from you exactly?" She looked at him, her feline yellow eyes staring at his energy red eyes. That had to make her wonder as to how Cyclops eyes had looked, but that was for another matter, another time. She looked at him as he chuckled and moved the staff aside. "Get only wha' ya need, Chere. Nothin' more. Nothin' less." Michelle nodded as she walked in and walked to the archery area, grabbing a bow immediately figuring pistols would really do no good against metal like that. She looked at the arrows. Regular spear heads probably would do no good either. She needed something with a little bit more bang. She looked at the arrows that had explosives on them. She picked one up and picked up a regular arrow. It was heavier than a regular one. She would have to be extra careful when firing those arrows off or else she could get her timing and accuracy completely off balance compared to how she would with a regular arrow. She grabbed a quiver and began placing the arrows in until the quiver was full, storing only ten. She would have to make do with ten arrows because going back to the Armory to resupply back and forth just could and would not happen.

When she walked back out, she heard Gambit whistling as if he had nothing to do with it at all. Michelle only smirked as she thanked him, making her way back to the elevator. She joined back up with Jacen, drawing the bow and pulling out one arrow from the quiver.
"Well, ready when you are." she said as she ran out the mansion to join up with Leion.

"And the world around us, won't stop turning to night

I'm losing control right now and I feel it's right

User ImageNot for the first time, Aurelie's eyes rolled upward when the speedster opened up his mouth. “Then in that case, I want orchids in my casket spray.” She said sarcastically. They WERE her favorite flower, but she highly doubted that anyone would be making an arrangement to go on her casket before they buried her, any time soon. Narcissa was known to be hard headed, caustic and quite stern... especially regarding the Alphas... but considering the blond had yet to deal with the firecracker, she attributed most of the stories to tongues that merely wanted to stir trouble. “Remember that, because I don't think anyone else here knows my preferences in flowers.” She paused, muttering something akin to telling him not to even start with her. The Omega seemed to get humor out of that, and she shook her head. “And yes, I can blame you.” And likely would, if given the chance.

Like she could honestly count on him to recall such a trivial fact about her. He'd probably request something that wasn't at all suited to her, like bleeding hearts or something. “Luckily for me, Dom's currently not hers.” She shot back, idly wondering if the Omega would ever get his a** in gear enough to be re-instated to the team. “He's a far cry from passing gym.” And not because he was hanging out with her, but because he simply didn't care. Getting back to the team wasn't exactly a priority of his.

The telekinetic defended herself by saying she wasn't dating the Slovene when Felix said that the red queen wouldn't like it, and he caught on just a little too readily. Her mouth opened in response, but only a huff of air came at first. “Don't put words into my mouth.” She said quietly, knowing that her hesitance to answer had given him just the ticket he needed. Denying anything now would be moot.

Arms folded across her chest and a near incredulous crossed her features at his theatrics – particularly that he even cared what his reputation was to begin with. “Don't pretend it's a shock Felix, when you and I both know it isn't.” The things other students said about him... while she'd never heard he was an outright monster... she'd gotten an earful from a few passing instructors – who all claimed he was a bull-headed snot when he wanted to be. And those were sources she could believe.

For the first time dis since they'd crossed paths this morning, Aurelie didn't look at him with disdain as he asked how long it would take her to get dressed. She'd given an example, and he said he was sorry he'd missed it. The ambiguity of the statement caused her to sigh – knowing well he'd meant one way – the part about her getting dressed – but if she confronted him about it, he'd swear he wasregretful of not seeing her at the main event the night before.

…Was that a compliment, that she heard parting his tongue? She shrugged, though the shock and sense of flattery for his kind words had already been compromised by her expression. Three seconds too late for him not to catch it. “Only near perfect because I hadn't wanted to go in the first place.” She'd been dragged out there, but had thankfully gotten out of dancing, or going through the long-winded explanation of why she didn't want to dance.

Crashes resounded through the building, shaking the floor beneath her enough to alert Aurelie to the fact that something was wrong. It shook again, and Aurelie's eyes brightened with adrenaline pumping through her system. “Definitely not Forge.

Felix came up with a plan, trying to give off the false sense of security that the headmistress backed it, but she wasn't so naïve to cling to every word that dropped from his mouth. Especially since, Emma had told her not to engage. Despite her better judgment, Aurelie lithely climbed onto his back with grace that could only come from being a former dancer or a telekinetic. “Okay then, loverboy...” She said, clearly not believing the line of bullshit he spouted off next. “Better watch it or your nose might get too big for your face.

Oh please, your idea just seems more solid than Emma telling us to hang back and watch who's actually here on the senior X-men fight.” Though she was sure the innuendos about her riding him would continue to come. He requested for her not to scratch his back and her own retort merited another of his.“You talk a lot of game Speedy...” None of which she was intent to actually find out about. “For someone without the evidence.

But once they got serious about what they were doing, Aurelie nodded, her legs snug around his waist. Thankfully, he started slow enough for her to catch her breath and prepare, slowly growing acclimated to the excess speed. The orders came in then, and she gave a simple “Mmm-hmm” to Felix, letting him know she'd heard them too. Pressing her comm button to broadcast back to Bella, she responded. “Speedy and I are already out there.” She actually had no idea what his real codename was. Anything relating to his mutation would work for now. In an instant, they stopped in front of her, and Aurelie closed her eyes momentarily, trying to slow the whirling sensation that plagued her still.

Once she opened them, she moved the closest Sentinel to hover in the air, turning him upside down. “If we could just break his recognition system, he might not be able to track any of us so easily.” With that, she telekinetically threw it into another one of the machines, causing a crash of grinding metal louder than a car accident. “That's gotta hurt.” She muttered.

When he told her to let him know if she wanted down, she gripped tighter with her legs. “This seems to be both of our best bets. Even if it is an Alpha-Omega duo.

Unable to help himself, the cowboy chuckled at Marcel's response from his question about how the night had gone for him. “Better boring than a disaster.” He reminded him, recalling all too well how many prom nights had been ruined because something had come up at the academy. That nothing had happened was something to consider a success. “Though, if you drink water before going to bed, you shouldn't get a headache in the morning.” Not that he was telling the students to drink, but giving them practical advice, because he wasn't going to be able to stop that tradition if he tried. The guy disappeared to the vending machines then, and Blake caught himself shaking his head with amusement. “Breakfast of champions right there.” He said to Thomas his chin lifting to motion toward where Marcel had headed.

Lillian approached them not long after Tara, stating she could schedule them in at the local comedy club. He waved his hands in the air – a motion to tell her that wasn't necessary. “Why perform there, when I'm here all night?” He asked, blue eyes sparkling with mirth. Her remark about models crying only reminded him of Bella. How many times had she said the same thing?

Oh I'm sure that's not the case.” Blake said, laughing with him. Mud-pie had been a real mess, but one he could always look back and be fond of.. after enough time had passed. For a while... it'd been stressful. “The Institute always has those kind of stories... and you hanging out in the infirmary has earned you plenty.” He said, not believing for a second that Thomas' life seemed boring in comparison.

The healer seemed to think that Lillian had been flirting with him and Blake merely chuckled. “I think she flirts with everyone, so I won't take it to hold my pillow at night.” He said with good humor.

Chewing on his gum, he pressed a palm to his face in exasperation. “Models don't cry when they see me, I assure you. What sort of gentleman would I be if I allowed that?” His Southern drawl was thick then. “I suppose I'm going to have to grow a beard or something.. being called a pretty boy all the time might begin to bruise my ego.” Not likely, but he'd pretend.

Thomas told them to go so that he and Blake could commence talking about them behind their backs – the geokinetic's response was equally as good, and Blake fell right into the good humor, quick to let his eyebrows dance with his amusement as he feigned checking her out in the most over-the-top way. “Watching most women walk away is half of the fun.” He said, cheesing, and clearly joking. They departed, and it left him to finish the story he'd been telling his phoenix-like friend.

As good as the morning had been going, it abruptly darkened with the sight of the sentinels outside of the window; Bella appeared in a flash, and Blake stood near, assuming she might need support, given her history with the robots. She ordered Thomas to go get the stray in the game room, and he diligently did so. The girl was familiar, Emlen. She'd been on one of the older teams before they were disbanded. Gambit's maybe?

He couldn't be sure, and now wasn't the time to try and figure it out. She was more than willing to join in on the fight, and he smiled. True to an Omega's form. No doubt she'd been placed on the right team. Sometimes they got it right... Other times... his blue eyes trailed to his old friend. She needed a second, and he'd worked with her before. Both Emma and Scott had known that...

Leonardo requested back up in the front, and broadcasted a few words of wisdom regarding their enemy. At least one of the other Alphas had the experience against the metal monsters... But thinking back on it, he wasn't sure if that was necessarily a good thing – for the health of the animal mimic. In the midst of recruiting more soldiers for the unending war, Blake had nearly forgotten what it was like, to be called to the field. He had almost forgotten, that while he was out, giving mutants a dream to hang onto, there were people like Leo, Bella... who were fighting to keep that dream alive. It seemed almost.. unfair.

Thomas said he'd be the human shield, and both Emy, who seemed to know the healer well, and the Alpha leader said that he wasn't allowed to do so. “Probably for the best, old man. Pain no matter if you can recover from it, is a hardship no one should have to endure.” Just then, his casual Southern drawl slipped into the voice of a leader – a sound he'd not heard of himself in too long a time, and it set the Texan aback.

One of the other Alphas that he'd not yet met offered up what he could do to the leader, asking for a hole so he could start ripping them apart. Blake waited patiently for her to answer the questions that everyone seemed to pelt her with, already concocting an idea to help the magnokinetic.

She dished out a few orders, even giving her own spin on his power. For just a second, he pulled a Will Smith move out, knowing that she meant to get “sticky” with it. “I think I can do one better than that...” He said, grinning. “Railgun.[.. get ready.” If he could get close enough to glue them to the ground... The move wouldn't hold for long. “Because the sentinels can loosen the ground, I'm not sure how well the molecules will hold. Essentially they'll be able to pick up the parts I stick them to with their feet... It should stall them momentarily. I can pass through their legs though...” And doing so would disassemble their limbs, decimate the molecules he passed through. “That should create the hole you're looking for.

For once, he was thankful he'd never had the time to work on that part of his ability.

Lounge and Outside

Bella seemed to be of the same opinion as she, regarding Thomas' volunteering himself to be a shield to anyone who needed cover. It earned points for the girl in Emlen's book. He insisted it would be alright but she shook her head. “Try not to get hurt. That's a good task for you.” She said, giving half a smirk. If she didn't care about him as a friend, she might have let it go, said ******** it... if he wants to play kamikaze, then let him. But she did care, and his being suicidal wouldn't sit well with her. ” No one wants to deal with changing your diapers yet.”

She crinkled her nose to indicate just what she thought of soiled underpants. ”And bottle feeding is a pain...” Gracie touched his shoulder and smiled then, appearing sweeter than normal for just a second. “If it happens on accident, I'll take care of you. If you do it on purpose, I'm getting you a nanny with a wart the size of Texas on her nose. Protruding hair included.” The way she said it would make him think she was serious, because she half was.

A few others were there that she couldn't have possibly known who they were, but one muttered something about overloading himself. ”That's definitely not the best plan. Winding unconscious around these things is a huge mistake.” She said sincerely to the magnet manipulator. Faltering at all against the robots could get them killed, or have them wind up as a lab rat in some undisclosed place that hadn't been mapped yet.

Three of them were headed toward the group, and Bella gave the order to scatter. There hadn't been a lot of time inside to tell them why she was called Jinx, but they'd learn soon enough. Tara picked her target, took off her shoes – a note that the new Omega didn't miss – and watched with interested hazel eyes.

Her feet kept her moving; her prior experience with the sentinels bade her to, unless she wanted to be an easy target. She waited for the two of her impromptu partners to get out of the way, wanting a good shot for the sentinel's head. Simply pointing would work to cause a bad run of luck for the mechanical monster.

The thing droned, stating in a monotone, matter-of-fact voice, that it had targeted an unidentified mutant. Dishing out the same line that they always did when met with resistance, the hex generator didn't think it'd be long before it started shooting to kill, instead of just stun. ”We don't have much time.” She informed the two, trying to remember the exact sequence of what they were programmed to say. ”Soon, they'll give up simply trying to seize us. And start on their goal to eliminate us.” Being captured would mean much the same thing, it'd just take longer.

Emlen tossed a curtain of dark hair over her shoulder as she followed Lillian between the rocks that Tara had control of. Pointing her finger directly at the sentinels head, a flash of green hit it square in the face. ”With any luck, that will cause it to explode.” She muttered.

Hostile mutant, seizure not suggested. Adjust priority systems accordingly. “

Her heart sank in her chest. ”That's what I was afraid of.” The young woman said with a sigh. Taking a deep breath in, she concentrated, thoroughly wishing to blow the chest plate off of the sentinel so that it wouldn't be able to shoot any missiles. Pointing to that part of his chest, another flash of green expanded from her fingertips, and crashed into him. A chemical fire eroded at the outer layer and she let out a laugh of relief. At least this one's chest beam wouldn't be an issue. Unless it regenerated.

Her own comm went off then, a British tone flavoring the air. No doubt, it had to be her team leader. Emma had said she had hailed from Europe; it only made sense. Raising her comm to her lips, Emlen hit the broadcast button. ”Jinx accounted for and already on the field. The back of the academy is being hit as well. And one has just switched to kill.”

And many more would soon, she was sure. There was a reason to hate sentinels. Blinking her hazel eyes once, she refocused, and threw another bolt in the robot's direction, not caring what it did this time, so long as it was destructive.

User Image Kerrigan's footsteps were quick as she sprinted through the hallways, putting as much distance between herself and her robot attacker as she possibly could. Unfortunately, that meant that she wasn't as prepared for obstacles that lay ahead of her as she normally was. So, when a blonde girl opened her room door, no doubt wanting to see what all the commotion was about, there was little Kerrigan could do at that point, but continue on with her intended momentum.

Smack!

The sound of skin on skin rang through the air. The redhead felt her body whipped around as her forward momentum continued to try and propel her in that direction, landing in a heap on the floor. Her hair created a red curtain over her face as she slowly moved to get up, wanting the painful sting of her skin to stop where she'd hit the girl full-force. It wasn't until she made a small "eek" sound that the redhead threw her hair over her shoulder, unobstructing her view once more. Again, she was on high alert, jumping to her feet while her assailant disappeared against the hallway backdrop - nothing more than a pair of floating pink underwear.

Yea, I’m fine. I guess the question is, whether you are,” the redhead responded, looking down at her comm as Scott’s voice sounded, following by Cissa’s. They were being called to the front lines, and there was no time to suit up in their normal gear. This wasn’t the first time she’d been forced to fight without her suit – it was the first time that she was forced to fight without her suit against gigantic robots, intent on capturing them all. Really, was it that different from the demons of Limbo?

Marcel appeared, drawing her from her own internal musings. He told them what his codename was, suggesting that they get outside as instructed as soon as Cammi got a shirt on.

You can call me Knoxx on the field,” she responded simply, moving over to collect Cammi’s shirt from the ground and hand it to her invisible form. It was the least she could do.

Well, as I see it, you have two options. Strip all the way down, since your clothes don’t disappear with you and hope that we actually get some use from the surprise. Or, take the extra 10 seconds to go put some pants on, since I think they’ll be operating off of sensors that would make being invisible next to useless in the grand scheme of things.” She hoped it didn’t come off as rude, but in the heat of things, she wasn’t sure there was time for tact. They were both called into action, and the sooner they got out onto the grounds, the sooner they could realize that their physically-based powers were not going to be of much help.

(( OOC: Wow, this post is crappy. Sorry! ><' ))

My hearts longs for the ability to get away!

❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀

Soon, the sensory adaptor got out of the shower. Quickly drying herself off before putting herself into a simple white skirt and a pale pink top. After that, Alex put on some sandals before working to brush her teeth. Since her having not eaten didn’t give her any excuse to walk out with horrible morning breath. However, just after she spit, she thought she felt an odd rumble underneath her feet. Causing her to blink as she placed a towel around her shoulders. Not wanting to have her wet locks soak her shirt while she went to investigate the odd sensation. When she didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary in her room, Alex shrugged it off. Though, before she could move back into the bathroom, the sensation happened again. Puzzlement now across her face. “Now what is causing that?”

Her gaze soon focusing on the window in her room. Her footsteps cautious as she walked towards it. Though, what she saw outside literally made her step away immediately. Tripping over her own feet with her eyes extremely wide. “What…are those things?” The things she had seen outside reminded her of something she would see in a science fiction movie. Beings that were freakishly tall and were usually quite powerful. Though, for a brief second, Alex wanted to believe that her sickness had only gotten worse, and that her mind was playing tricks. Yet, a voice entered her head. That of the Headmistress. Telling her to not to approach the things outside and that the X-men had it under their control. Unfortunately, that wasn’t as comforting as Alex wished it had been. For now she couldn’t put the sight off as an hallucination.

There was really giant robots outside, and by the sounds of it, they were not beings to be messed with. Thus, due to the nature of her ability, Alex felt it better to just find a safe place. The Danger room coming into mind. Since she had a strong feeling staying in her dorm room was not an option. Thus, Alex grabbed her comm and started to make her out of her dorm room. Shutting the door behind her as she tried to remember the quickest way to the Danger Room. Though, just as Alex thought of one, her comm went off. Eyes widening at what Bella was ordering. Them outside…..with those giant robots? A faint gulp left her throat. Being reminded of the mall all over again. Where she really hadn’t been too much help. Yet, Alex knew she was a part of a team.

Thus, could she really just leave them to fight the robots on her own? Even if she would likely just be dead weight to them? Her body seeming to move in the direction of the courtyard. As if her body was making up her mind for her. But, before she could get too far, Alex started to hear what sounded like glass shattering…and a wall being taken down…Accidently switching on her power and making her hearing more acute. Unfortunately, when Alex heard the voice of the robot talking to an unknown person(Kerrigan), panic literally overwhelmed the sensory adaptor. Her legs running in the opposite direction of where she had been going before. Her fear literally carrying her down the halls, while her logic screamed at her to stop! Though, her body refused to listen to her for what felt like eternity.

Eventually though, she found herself slowly down. The panic soon receding from her as she leaned up against the wall. Her blue green hues scanning for something familiar. Noticing a door nearby and moving towards it. When she opened the door, Alex barely held back a chuckle. Her body had literally taken her to the music room. Funny how her fear had lead her towards a creature comfort. The sensory adaptor closed the door behind her. Her breaths came in small pants as she moved to sit down. Needing to collect herself before moving towards the courtyard. However, the lack of breakfast and the head cold she had were working against her. Her body feeling extremely weak after running so hard. Unable to stop herself from feeling so cowardly over her actions.

Even if she knew it would have been just as dumb of her to stick around, and find out what happens once one of those things found her. But, at least her concentration was not so shot that she wasn’t able to reduce her hearing. Not having the stomach to want to listen to the likely sounds of battle all around her. Her nose letting out a sneeze as she started to notice how her shirt felt wet. The sensory adaptor quickly realizing that the towel underneath her shoulders must have fallen off during her sprint. Though, Alex didn’t have time to think on that long before another transmission came through her comm. This time, it was the Headmaster. Basically telling them that they needed to find their team leaders and receive their orders.

She already knew hers, yet her head felt too light-headed for her to move at the moment. Why did this have to be the day she wasn’t well? The sensory adaptor knew she couldn’t just sit around and use her sickness as an excuse. She needed to get to the courtyard! However, what use would she be if she felt too weak to move? Thus, Alex kept trying her best to will any strength to her body. Soon hearing yet another transmission. This time, she recognized the voice as Renaissance Man from the Mall. He seemed to be giving them information on the robots, now known as Sentinels to her. Though, his information caused a mixture of emotions within her. Horror that the government would create such things. Relief that the others would know a way to kill them, and disappointment that she would still be useless.

But, the sensory adaptor supposed that if anyone missed the information she would relay it too them. However, Alex felt that would be the extent of her usefulness currently. Even if that was the case though, she tried to theorize the fact she had use was good enough. Slowly then, she did her best to stand up. Though, Alex almost fell back at the sudden voice sounding from her comm. She wasn’t sure if Aegis’s humor was something she could appreciate, or was just very ill-timed. However, as Alex leaned up against the piano for balance, it didn’t take long for Aegis to sound through the comms once again. This time, his information was like Renaissance Man’s. Helpful, but definitely unnerving to say the least. It did remind her once more that she needed to get herself to the courtyard.

Unfortunately though, Alex didn’t trust her body to get her there in her current shape. Maybe if she was able to contact someone, they would be able to help her get there? Maybe she could try to send a team wide message? With this in mind, the sensory adaptor started fussing with what she believed was the frequency settings on this thing. Not realizing she had twisted it the wrong way. Causing her to send a message towards one instead of the whole team. That one unknowingly being Raph. “This is Al-“ Quickly reminding herself of that the Headmaster said before continuing. “Flairer…I am in the music room and need assistance in getting to the courtyard. My abil-“ Remembering what happened in the mall and not wanting to repeat the same mistake again. “My talent…would not likely be of too much use, but I wish to try and help nether the less.”

At least she couldn’t say she wasn’t being honest. “So…if someone could help me get there, I would greatly appreciate it.” With that, Alex twisted her still wet hair to try and get some of the wetness out of the hair. Then, the sensory adaptor moved herself off the piano. Not wanting to look really pathetic or weak if someone showed up. Though, she was likely only going to give them a few minutes or more. Since Alex didn’t want to spend all her time waiting for someone that may not show up at all. Especially when a battle was going on. One that would definitely not be waiting on her.

Name: Narcissa Grace Lucania-Stone [No relation, to Any Alpha's]
Codename: Solaris
Team: Omega
Location: Outside - Fighting Sentinels?
Temperament: Moderate

Narcissa scowled as she felt the wall behind her being destroyed by a hail of gunfire. She hated this. Hated being in the dark…Scott and Emma clearly understood the threat—But for some reason it had escaped their exemplary intellect, to let the student teams know of the potential of being attacked by giant hulking robotic death machines. She’d seen Leion arrive out of the corner of her eye, but the Sentinel intent on eradicating her from existence stole her attention a little too much for a proper greeting.

The blonde sun goddess had never seen these things before… She’d been in London when Genosha was decimated the first time around. The term ‘Sentinel’ brought her back to the present…That she understood. Many knew the word…It was simply that few had survived to be able to tell exactly what they looked like. The subject of the destroyed Mutant Haven was not well received by any of the X-Men…

Now, she wished they weren’t such poncy princesses about the whole thing.

The voice of a new Omega came across her comm--Well, not exactly new. More like returned for a second tour of fighting for X-Liberalism. "Stay where you are then Jinx. I've come to the Einstein conclusion that we're being hit on all sides. They're going to try and crush us."

She definitely didn't need to explain that all of the Sentinels would hit the kill switch soon enough. They were resisting, after all.

Two newer Omega’s arrived on the scene, and she glanced at both of them—Nodding her head at the greeting as she released the blast that sent one of the initial Sentinel’s crashing to the ground. Reining in the heat that blazed from her, locking it away in her core, she leveled a soulless gaze on Anthony and Peyton. “Good. We could use some cannon fodder.”

From her expressionless features it would be impossible to know if she was serious or not. “Rule number one you pair-- Don’t stand so close to me on the field.”

She tensed as the fallen Sentinel shot a beam of light at Madison. Bullets, laser beams, what next?

The Red Queen shot forward in the air as Psyche scaled the fallen robot, hoping to keep it distracted while she executed whatever she had in mind—But it would difficult to blast the thing adequately with Anthony and Peyton standing so close by. Her ability was not made for friendly fire—Only killing blows. Even still… It would take a much stronger shot than normal to take one of these things down. Emma might forgive her for disobeying…But she had no want to be snapped into the coma of a century for deep frying a couple of baby Omega’s.

Her assistance seemed mostly overkill at that point anyway…Madison was already hacking its head off like Xena. She caught the girls tone and noted the sarcasm, though her expression remained pitiless. “Nice work.”

A compliment from Narcissa did not come easily. Ever.

“Like I said—Welcome home. Didn’t you feel the target on your back triple in size when you came through the gate?”

“Besides…Something wants to kill us?”
, she questioned, wiggling her little finger in the air in a ‘whoop-de-do’ gesture,”—Must be Tuesday.”

Her pure white eyes scanned the area as Gabriel took out the Sentinel he’d been contending with—Having only minimal assistance from Scott. Not bad, for a wet, pathetic dog.

The Red Queen opened her mouth to suggest that more would be inbound, but there wasn’t time.

Scott went to Gabriel, seeing that he was exhausted and shaking. They had a reprieve, which he doubted would last more than a few moments. His red visor gleamed as he kept his gaze on the perimeter. He was baffled as to how so many Sentinels could have been put into production so quickly…They’d not heard a murmur, not a whisper. But for the most part, he just wanted the hunks of junk off the lawn. “Stand down for a moment Siege.”

Michael arrived next, checking on the boy and picking up a few things—And Cyclops remained silent…Though he was well aware the boy was benched. But disobeying orders seemed to be a trend.

At the arrival of more Sentinels, he touched the side of his visor and shot a crimson blast at the one to Madison’s right after Peyton took their stability. “If you’re going to follow Aegis, Siege—You should do so now. If they sight you, and take you as a threat, they might chase you back to the school.”

They’d dropped out of the sky nigh invisible, only their thrusters giving them away. Peyton acted first, to Narcissa's pleasant surprise, literally blowing the Sentinels off balance.

Michael’s words came through on her comm, and she scowled deeply, responding quickly. “I never agreed to you being on the field in any capacity. Stay OUT of the bloody damn line of fire…”

This was not a occasion to test her patience—Nor could she afford to argue his placement at this time. If the Sentinel’s didn’t kill him, she would.

Narcissa swore as she pushed herself higher into the air so her ability wouldn’t damage her allies. She was, for lack of a more creative term, a miniature sun. Those that didn’t know her gift by reputation or otherwise, soon would. Immediately after cutting the line from Michael, she called into the comm, “Psyche, get away from there!”

Madison was seasoned, and smart. It wasn’t likely that she would need to be told—Let alone, told twice, once given the opening to escape.

Spira, Rave, Graviton—Do what you can to keep shoving them away from the school. If you can get one the same way you did last time Psyche, make your move. Chameleon—Distract them but only if necessary.”

Michael’s voice came over the comm again, announcing two more Sentinels. That would give them, bloody hell, FOUR…Against a handful of Omega’s and one Professor.

She raised her hands and her form blazed, bright enough that it would be difficult to see the outline of her body against the blue sky. The Sentinel that Cyclops had hit dead on had been knocked some distance away, back into the tree line. That was her first target. The weaker enemy, the one furthest from the rest of her team. A scorching white light erupted from her and slammed into the prone Sentinel on the ground, hitting it in the midsection with enough force that its arm flew off, landing half melted some distance away. Small explosions resonated, the sounds loud and clear as the ammunition within the robot went off, triggered by the heat.

Pulling back, the light from her faded in intensity, and she took a split second to observe her handy work…It was easy to see that something in their framework was heat resistant…Otherwise, chunks of it wouldn’t have survived. There was little but scorched and blackened earth around it. Trees were simply gone.

If air was a requirement, she would have needed to catch her breath…But as it were, she simply moved to the next target as the two new Sentinels landed. Now, there were three.

She would need to be much more careful in closer quarters. Attacks like that were draining…But with it being just after high noon—And the sun shining bright…She hoped it would be enough.

Surprisingly, one of the two new Sentinels went straight towards the robot that Madison had taken out…Cables and cords came out of it’s fingers, attaching themselves to it—While the third moved to stand in front of them.

“Repair sequence initiated.”

A red beam from Cyclops was halted by the Sentinel raising a palm and shooting a laser to counteract it.

“All life forms in a three mile radius are scheduled for immediate termination. “

The Sentinel fired again, catching Scott Summers in the shoulder as the man tried to dodge. It sent him sprawling backwards, hitting the earth hard enough that he bounced off his back once.

“This area is in quarantine. It is hazardous, to the continued existence of humanity. There is no escape.”

"Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire."

OOC: Let me know if I missed you--Or misread something. I'd be happy to make adjustments if needed.

Edit #1: It's been brought to my attention that I spelled Psyche "Psych"--Be sure not to forget the "e" at the end. It's been fixed.

Alpha | "Sleet" | Cryokinesis | From the Courtyard to the back of the Mansion

As Vee reached the Courtyard, the voice of the Academy headmaster, Scott, echoed in her mind, informing the teams that their previous order was nullified. Vee smirked upon hearing that. She wondered what the two headmasters were thinking, seeing their students disobey them without a second thought. Sleet turned her attention to the scene before her, narrowing her eyes. Out in front, Leo, Raine, and Roland were doing their best to take out the robots, but it was clear even to her that the robots were strong, perhaps even stronger than the two Alphas and the Omega.

Renaissance Man's voice flickered over her comm, and Sleet listened intently to the information he gave them. Sentinels, they were called? She shook her head at the situation. Her ability, she knew, would hardly dent the armor on those things, and she didn't know how many people did have the ability to do at least that, and more were probably on their way even as she thought.

Siren quickly snapped out orders to the Alphas present, breaking in between speech to send a sonic blast at one of the Sentinels, ripping off the metal plate that covered its chest, and giving the Alphas a glimpse at the deadly weapons it held inside. Sleet gulped - her throat was suddenly dry; numbly, she nodded at the songstress's orders to her. "Understood," she said briefly, and skipped back as the Sentinels rounded on the small group - rather, on Siren - dodging the lasers the robots sent their way. Uncorking her canteen, Sleet quickly drew half of the water out and formed it into a makeshift arrow, a foot and a half long and about five inches in diameter, mist curling around it. She took a moment to balance it, then experimentally hurled it towards the nearest Sentinel. It barely dented the robot's dent. She cursed. Looked like any chances of going offense were crushed.

At that moment, a male's [Aegis] voice flashed over her comm. "To all Alphas and Omegas, Six Sentinels are inbound, I'm disfiguring their cloaking abilities. They are the white illuminations in the sky flying towards the mansion. I repeat. Six Sentinels inbound, Marked by the white illumination." Sleet looked towards the sky and saw six large figures illuminated in white. They split off in three directions: two in front, two in back, and two in the courtyard. The back? If she recalled correctly, there was a fountain in the back, and a pool. She'd be of much more use over there than here, where she was depraved of resources.

Sleet turned on her heels to head for the back of the mansion, reshaping the ice she already had out into a thick shield to block a beam a stray beam from a Sentinel. The beam shattered the ice, and she cursed, raising her arm to shield herself. Upon reaching the back of the mansion, she found others nearby, [Jinx, Copycat, Landslide, Solaris, Spira, Rave, Graviton, Psyche, Chameleon, Cyclops] already engaged with a couple of Sentinels. How many of those robots were there?!

She found the side of the fountain broken, the water spilled out over the floor. Sleet shrugged; she could work with that. Suddenly, there were two heavy thuds! as the two new Sentinels landed, one already turning to face her. It raised its hand, its palm glowing red. Vee dropped to a crouch and thrust out her arms, willing the ice to shift how she wanted. It leaped from the fountain, just as the Sentinel fired. The ice flew to envelope the blast, freezing it inches before it reached Sleet.

Her heartbeat was rapid, adrenaline coursing through her veins. Sleet dipped her fingertips into the water spilled on the ground, and her powers glazed over the liquid, turning it into ice. It rose up and raced towards the Sentinel in a large wave, making sharp, crackling, tinkling sounds as the ice was broken and moved, and encased the robot all around, up till the neck. The Sentinel shuddered, struggling to move. She added extra layers to the ice to sturdy it and hopefully keep the Sentinel where it stood. Slowly, she stood, her head pounding from the sudden extensive use of her powers. She took a deep breath, keeping a wary eye on the robot still free, and spoke into her comm, addressing any Alphas that were listening, "This is Sleet. I've a Sentinel near the back of the mansion immobilized, but there's nothing I can do beyond that. If there's anybody free, I could use some firepower back here to destroy them." With luck, maybe the ice would freeze the circuitry and stop it ... but she doubted it. The Sentinels already proved that they were more than a formidable enemy; a handful of ice wouldn't stop it. Not for long.

The magnetokinetic listened to what everyone had to say, Siren making a point that he didn't have to overload... hopefully. But as she finished that several of the Alphas took position and moved into place, working on making a hole for Eli to work something. He could easily start messing with stuff on the inside, but not knowing the fire power or how it's energy core worked, it was safer not to tamper with things unknown. He didn't want to set off any high explosives that could damage the mansion or cause a core meltdown of whatever the core was inside one of the hulking metal men.

He watched in awe as they so fluently worked together to take down the Sentinels at hand. Jinx had made a comment about him not wanting to be unconscious in the midst of a battle and overloading himself. "In theory no, in reality, overloading myself would send off constant Electromagnetic Pulses taking down the sentinels." He responded to her, and before she, or anyone else got the idea of that being the best laid plan, he spoke up again. "Along with shutting down the electronics in the mansion, and being in such close proximity giving everyone around me radiation poisoning because my overloads, aside from EMPs, couple up with Electromagnetic Radiation. So it's a double edged sword right now."

He sat in wait and watched as a sentinel's chest plate was demolished revealing a rocket. He'd considered maybe pushing them back into the sentinel, only to realize it wouldn't work, the initial priming sequence, order, or whatever primed them to detonate on impact wouldn't have been initiated if he moved them.

Aegis' voice came over the comm. Eli couldn't tell why he was trying to sound like a talk show host when he started taking. But the humor quickly drained from his voice the second broadcast indicating the six sentinels inbound to the grounds, all of which splitting into three teams of two in the front back and courtyard of the mansion. Amarillo spoke up of his plan to glue them to the ground. It seemed good, except it appeared he misunderstood that, he didn't need a theoretical opening to attack. He needed a physical hole so that way he could use his abilities to a better extent. "I need you to find someone who can punch a physical hole in them too, I don't want to scramble something that could splash damage onto the mansion or sever damage to anyone around us, a direct line of site to the inside will be much-" He was quickly cut off as heAegis came over the Comm system again.
"Get Siren outta there!" He yelled.

Eli turned his attention to where his team leader was. Behind a Sentinel that was already falling backwards. Taking a couple of bounds forward, Railgun threw his board and he jumped on it, hovering his way towards Siren and the falling sentinel. He had his legs in a wide stance, butt low, almost like the wall sit exercise. He pulled his arms back, elbows tucked in, and in one motion, he pushed his arms out and upward, while going from a squatted position to a standing position on his board that was accelerating towards Siren. The Sentinel that was falling was shoved and part of the exterior that was being influenced crumbled as the magnetokinetic shoved it out of it's falling path kicked up massive amounts of dust and dirt.

The hunk of metal fell to the ground with a massive thud, and Railgun jumped off his board, hitting the ground running and approached his team leader. "Are you okay?" He asked, he had the innocent puppy dog look that always stayed in his eyes, but the awkward notion was now replaced with one of concern for his team leader. "Thank you Aegis, Siren is safe." He said as the dust and dirt still settled around them.
