((Hallway)) With just a few more steps into the fog, another of those strange imps had fluttered towards her, rushing into her face at full speed. Edel tried to duck the oncoming assault, but a spray of sparkle dust had hit her face right on mark. The ghoul sneezed and let out a laugh.
Another sneeze, and this time, a giggle.
The frost demon was starting to feel a little giddy with happiness, and payed little notice to the three winged creatures that had started to circle and dance around her. She thinned her lips to suppress an unexplainable smile that was creeping across her face, but she could not hold it in for long before she let out a gasp and broke down into a hysteria of giggles again. She held her face with her hands, feeling her cheeks starting to grow uncharacteristically warm as the fit of laughter continued to spread throughout her. Ah, what is happening? she questioned herself with her remaining shred of sanity before she bent over succumbed to the laughter, too weak from it to stand up straight.

((Staircase)) She was ready to swivel around and run straight through that doorway back home when the mirror began to fade away. As far as Levi was concerned, the actions of that which were in the mirror needed to be cleared up. Was there any danger back home? Then Tess caught her attention and the tatzel was startled by the fog that began to creep on them. The voice's words didn't help... TESS-!!!...She didn't want to lose sight of her companion (or let any harm come to her) but it looked like Levi had worries of her own as well. Within the fog were things... she looked around for the way out. She couldn't see what was grabbing at Tess at first, but the half ghoul was definitely... DANCING with something(s) ...as far as Levi's blurred vision could tell. Jack dangitThe tatzel tried to call to Tess a few more times, but a tiny figure then appeared before her, tickling and poking at her furry white ears. Levi normally wouldn't have minded such things, but it was in the way now. Her town was burning without her there to help and her friend was unable to hear her words. THIS WAS NOT THE TIME. Her white tail flickered up over her head to beat away at the fairy while she mewhissed a warning to the rest. Leave me ALONE... They were pests to be sure. Rather persistent ones. Rising to stand on her tail, the white haired ghoul batted a hand at the annoying fairy that tried to play with her again before seeing the sliver of doorway amongst the fog. She would be able to leave-... but what about Tess? ((Felyn - can Levi grab Tess and take her out as well? Even if she is still under the influence? XD ))

Thanatos bobbed his head with a happy sort of churring noise, "Than would lovelovelove so much if 'Saja took him places...mebbeso Merry-too, if she is wantings?" Tail swaying to and fro delightedly, the pup was full of energy as they made their way about the haunted house...
...the Fae-hound's fearlessness dissipated however as they tried to enter the net room, and the fog began to swirl around them. With a whimper, the pup's ears tried to meld with his hair, flat against his skull... "Than does notlike notlike notlike thiiiiis~" He wibbled, trying to tip-toe forward, looking back at his companions for guidance. It didn't seem that they were doing much better in this muck. Realizing that he was still in front, still the hapless guide of the group, he swallowed hard, taking tentative steps forward.
N-now there was loud singing! D8 Dancing about in the fog and..what? What were those? Clasping hands over his ears, Thanatos huddled down, good eye shutting tight as he tried to drown out the noises. "Donotlike...." It was a whimper, "G'way, bad singy things!" Hopefully they wouldn't bite him, or cause him to go floor-sleepies like whatever had gotten Merry before! He just wanted out of here now, thank you! And if he could, he would take Merry and Aksaja with him to safety!

Faint huffed air out his nose as Demi shoved his shirt in his face and shook his head vigorously. He had a definite feeling that getting his face rubbed down probably wasn't having the desired effect, and was just smearing the glitter everywhere - though, he did see a few more ribbons flutter down to the ground.
Rolling his eyes at the hound he pushed his shoulder, trying to get him to start moving forward again with Faint scooped up his shirt and vest and tucked them in his back pocket. There was little reason to put them back on at this point, because every inch of his body was now positively sparkling. He looked like a bad horror flick, and he felt disgusting. But, oh, it could get worse.
As the room they came upon filled with smoke his body shuddered and he covered his face worriedly. He wasn't sure that breathing it in would have any effect at all, but he wasn't about to take the chanced. The last time he'd inhaled any sort of gas, he'd woken up cuddling with a smug little hell hound - speaking of, the air was so thick with smoke he now couldn't see his companion anywhere.
Stumbling and flicking his ears at the fluttering, humming sounds that flitted past his ears, he searched for an exit. He'd reached a flat wall and was pounding against it experimentally when something tugged at his boot. The first tug was light and playful, but when he tried to shake it off, the tug became hard and knocked him to the floor. The next thing he heard was giggling, and he roared unhappily toward his ankles with no result.

Faint swatted at his ankle and bared his teeth, not knowing what to make of the fluttering and giggling and tugging. He was able to stand and stumble toward what he thought might be light, shaking his assaulted foot the entire distance. What the jack was all of this? What had a hold of his leg?!
He could feel his pupils stretching almost painfully, trying to discern figures and shadows, anything beyond the wall of smoke that blinded him. He'd probably have been better off just closing his eyes and hoping for the best.
As he neared what he hoped was an exit, something else grabbed him by the wrist. He felt tiny fluttering wings beat against his pulse and waved his arm wildly, but whatever it was had just as much strength as the one attached to his leg, because it took him down before he was able to take another step. His face hit the floor and he groaned in discomfort. Why did his lip sting? His poked his tongue out to prod at it, tasting blood. He'd bitten it, piercing the soft flesh with his sharp teeth.
"Jacking hell..."

Faint tried to lift his head and shift his shoulders, but he didn't make it far. Whistling with speed, another of the creatures dive-bombed the back of his head and slammed his face down. He sucked in air unhappily, but the pain quickly went away as the creatures danced in a circle about him, giggling and frolicking. It made his insides feel kind of.. warm and fuzzy.
Covered in glitter?
Drenched in ribbons?
Bleeding from the lip?
Lost in a never ending house of horrors and rainbows?
Eh. None of it really seemed to matter anymore. The sting of pain was quickly overshadowed by the intense happiness he suddenly felt. Were he of the particular feline species to purr, he might have. Instead, he got to his feet and chuffed happily at the little fluttering beings, spinning on his heels. Oh this was the most fun he'd had since entering the building! Funfun! His tail twitched excitedly and he chuffed at them again, the sound rumbling in his throat and nose.
Demi! Demi had to see this and have as much fun as he was! "Demiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!" He howled delightedly.

[[Hallway]] Muka giggled hysterically and whirled, tiny fairies holding onto his taloned fingers. He was vaguely aware of another person laughing, a ghoul by the sound of it. he felt his leg brush and glanced down to see Edel on the floor laughing as well. "EDEL!" His delight was palpable and he lifted her up and clutched her to himself in a very proper dancing pose. "Dance with us!!" The fairies whirled about them and he swept Edel into the dance. He was supporting her on his own mostly since she seemed to be incapacitated by laughter but he didn't seem to mind or notice at the moment.

Damien didn't necessarily realize that showing his scent heavy shirt in faint's face wasn't exactly the smartest way to clean the boil, replacing the smooshed around glitter with his scent trail. But it was an attempt to help out his visiting friends and hopefully it was the thought that counts.
He laughed happily alongside of the grumpy boil as he shoved him ahead to keep moving, putting his shirt around his neck because there was no point in putting it back on. His chest as well as his shirt was coated in sparkly bits like some kind of disco ball. In fact, he was sure that if they could string him up to the ceiling with a few lights on him, he'd provide and excellent atmosphere.
The hound trudged along, leaving a trail of glitter in his wake until they got to another room that billowed with an unnatural smoke that made his hair stand on end with dread. It didn't take a genius to know that rooms always meant something bad, and hearing that voice again just confirmed his panic. he wrapped his face with his discarded shirt like a mask against the smoke that began to pour in faster, the last time he inhaled smoke, he woke up on the floor and he'd rather not go through such a thing like that again.
Speaking of which, the gas was getting so think that Faint who was by his side, he couldn't find him no more. "Faint? Faint!" he called out, his voice muffled by the shirt. His ears were flicking back and forth as strange fluttering that came from the mist, and the giggling that promised something horrible to come. The voice was right, it was time to go.
He felt his way around as best that he could, trying to feel for a solid, flat object that may have a door in its depths.
((Yay you found a door!))
It took a bit of time, as wings gently brushed against his arms but there it was, the strange engraving that lead to a doorknob. He gave it a turn and threw the door open with a slam before throwing himself out of the room, into the cleaner air of the new hallway he was now in. He took a few gaping breaths of the cleaner air that felt like a gift, the crisp autumn air was refreshing only to gasp at the heart wrenching scream of his name in such a horrifying cry.
Even if it sounded happy, Faint sounding happy was indeed a horrible cry. "Faint! follow my voice, get out of there!' he bellowed back into the room. Before the door closed by itself and left the hound with a feeling that made him shudder. Faint would be fine, he hoped.

(Staircase: Sorry I haven't been on for a while, guys. x_x I've been so busy and sick that I only managed a tiny post in another thread this whole time. But now I'm back!)
The Frez Drah flinched at the Baku's touch. He looked down and away from her as he stood with a jolt. Even then, he didn't say anything in response to her question. He simply followed the group as they walked. What he had seen in the mirror wasn't going away any time soon.
Soon enough, though, another assault from the house was upon them. No sooner had his group entered a seemingly plain room were they immersed and engulfed completely in a strange purple fog. It didn't take long for them to lose one another; the fog was so thick that it seemed only prudent to assume it was supernatural in some way. But what was in the room with them?
Fuaire felt little tugs on his cloak as he stood and tried to regain his bearings. The mirror had thrown him off so badly that he couldn't seem to recover.
And then it smacked him. A tiny palm slapped him on a decaying cheek.
"..."
Suddenly, the little fairy creatures began to multiply. One by one, another would take the place of one he attempted to swat out of the air. They tugged on his clothes, his hair, his ears, his cheeks, his eyebrows...they were everywhere.
Well this is new.

Fuaire, between swatting fairies and staggering through the fog, was reaching out in front of him, hoping to feel his fingertips graze along a wall, a door -- anything.
Jack, at this point I'd even take running into Skull Pin. At least it'd be something.
The harassment of the fairies intensified. Now they were subtly encouraging the Frez Drah towards the center of the room...or was it in a circle? He didn't know. Either way, they were directing him away from the way our or from any landmark that might help him gain his sense of direction in the thick fog.
Fuaire's head was becoming a bit light from breathing in the shining mist. Any more of this and he might not be able to get out before something happened. He was already beginning to feel uncharacteristically giddy.

[[Hallway]] "Sure, Merry can come too . . . we'll be a little band of adventurers, hm?" Aksaja couldn't help but smile at the pup, his enthusiasm far too infectious at this juncture. Glancing back to the third member of their little group, Aksaja asked, "How about, Merry, want to come along?"
But before that conversation could go much farther, they stepped into another room, and . . . suddenly, there was fog, and he couldn't see. Dammitall, what the Jacking hell. He could hear Than talked somewhere close to him, and then . . . was that singing? Oh hell no. He was SO out of here. Darting forward, Aksaja wove his way through the forms of others in the murky fog, wings tucked in tightly to his back.
He didn't exactly know where he was going, or if anyone else was following him, but somehow, he found the door. By nearly running into it. "Than! Merry, this way!" he called, shoving at one of the little fairy-things that tried to land on his shoulder. "I found the door, let's go!" And though he . . . really wanted to stay and wait for them, the lightning dragon had the feeling that he lingered in this room, he'd succumb to some sort of madness. So he quickly grabbed the door handle and went outside to wait there.

She was seriously starting to think leaving this haunted house was a good idea. Except, currently, that was not going to happen. That ominious voice as back and LW cringed like a frightened pup. Again?! It was back again?! Oh dear Jack! And what was all this fog...stuff? The she-wolf sneezed. Then sneezed again and caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye. Oh no. No no. There was something in that fog! And she couldn't see. Oh skulls. Maybe if she tried to find the wall? And follow that along to a door? It was worth a shot, right? RIGHT?!
A few grumbled curses uttered, LW moved forward slowly, arms outstretched and hands flailing to clutch something. Preferrably not whatever was flittering around in the fog please!

Her stumbling and flailing did find something. It was just not something she had really wanted to find. A fairy. Wait, that was a fairy?! LW found herself distracted as she blinked at the creature. It was giggling and singing something (she couldn't hear it quite that well) and seemed to want to dance. Dance....oh Jack! Before she could stop herself LW found her feet moving in a few steps to a dance. Then her brain crashed back into her and the she-wolf froze. Skulls again! It just had to be dancing. Her weakness. Gritting her teeth, LW tried to ignore the fairy and find the exit to this room.
Although that fairy was still following and dancing along. No! Focus. She had to focus. But the dancing...! LW groaned and attempted to keep her focus.

((Hallway)) “ Muka!” she exclaimed, clearly too drunk in euphoria to maintain her formal airs. It was with great effort that Edel held herself up on her part – after all, the lady wouldn't let herself fall so far as to collapse into the gentleman's arms in a fit of giggles. Her legs still felt weak, but the humbling sensation ebbed away as she was swept away into a dance with the strix. The ghoul stared straight at Ulmuka, completely unabashed as they waltzed across the room, her intent attention was only punctuated by the sporadic bouts of giggles. The ghoul would never remember what happened that night amidst the pink fog, but perhaps it was for the best that she do not recall her embarrassing display of utterly, unrefined manners.
