Calder was dressed in new "gear", free of the red taint of paint-y failure, and was now waiting at the starting line with his team. He had a tactic. An AMAZING tactic that would lower his chances of losing and bring home victory.
His SEKRIT weapon.
When the fog was set up and the stage set, Calder set his hands down, brought his tail up, dug his hooves into the dirt, and narrowed his eyes.
Calder was going to run like hell!
Awww yyyeeaaahhh.

A certain skinwalker was sauntering onto the field just as the fog rolled over the soft earth, glowing gold eyes sliding to one side to look over at his teammates. Overall, pretty pleased. Bul was the only one he'd played with before, but he knew of Siddie through Sammy, and the dragon (he couldn't remember his name -- a... something or other. So sue him.) definitely looked formidable. An obviously pleased grin spread across his features as he gave them a nod of acknowledgement, lips spreading over sharp canine teeth before he looked out into the fog again. He wanted to say he was pretty confident, but hey, he'd lost his first game against NAP -- now was not the time to be getting cocky. Even though it had been his first match, and he had been ganged up on by two girls, he hadn't appreciated the loss -- he'd be more careful this time, though.
Crouching down low, he watched his teammates move before he set off into the fog, scanning the surroundings warily.

Aksaja sort of remembered Nuk from the Christmastown thing, so when the skinwalker nodded to him, the dragon grinned and gave the other boil a thumbs up. Then there wasn't really time for anything else, as everyone started moving around.
Game on. Looking about carefully, Aksaja started moving cautiously - as he didn't want to get shot down this early in the game.

Okay, running at full speed MIGHT have been a tad bit loud. A little.
Yeah.
It seemed he had attracted some very unwanted attention. DO NOT WANT!
Calder looked at his gun. Looked at Siddie. Back to his gun, and slowly raised it.
Maybe Calder's track record of fail shots would finally end here.
Stranger things in Amityville had happened.

This time, Siddie was determined not to be useless. She wasn't going to try to guard the flag; she wasn't going to try to strategize; she was just going to head straight for the other side of the field and shoot at anything she was moving. Accordingly, when the game began, she jogged forward, keeping a sharp eye out for figures in the mist.
She spotted Calder before he spotted her; at least, she thought she did. She took up a careful stance, waited till he was in range, then aimed and pulled the trigger. No attempted taunting this time - just paintballs.
