"Make to a month." Valarie leaned to her side, looking at Jack dully.
Back at Cade's home, a man dressed in a dark formal suit and black ski mask stood at the door. He stood, quietly and patiently, showing no aggressive sign even though he openly carried a gun at his hip.

Cade was just now getting home to his apartment, looking forward to going back to sleep. Though when he saw a man waiting at his door the thought was gone from his mind. "Can I help you?" He asked, stopping a bit away from the man.
He looked over him cautiously, hand slipping in his pocket for a switch blade in case he tried anything. He rarely got any suspicious people coming to his home to ask for a job so he didn't let his guard down.

"Laurence Hawthorne." The stranger said loudly and clearly, his voice deep but sounding in a way as if it had been digitally edited.
"Laurence Hawthorne, also known as Cade." The stranger looked at Cade directly, his posture remaining the same.
"You are the mercenary, Laurence Cade Hawthorne, correct?"

Cade rose an eyebrow at the man when he addressed him by his first name. That was odd. "It depends on who's asking. Cade isn't working today without a damn good reason though." The digitally edited voice wasn't unfamiliar to him, some of his jobs came from people using the same technology.

Cade sighed when the man continued. He hated his first name. "Yes, but depending on the job and pay I might agree to do it since I'm already up." He said as he unlocked the door to his apartment.

"I can't tell if she's a bag haggler, or doesn't understand how it works.." Isaac commented as he watched, dumbfounded.
"The pay is well, I assure." The stranger replied as he remained where he stood, only turning his body to face Cade.
"The job would be simple for you as well, granted that you can kill easily."
