If you wish, you could sleep in my bed. I say after a sip of my tea. But if you wish to go home I would gladly take you. It would not be a problem.

She looked to a window, in deep thought and sighed softly. "It is late and I fear of becoming weak again . . . it would be best if I did stay the night. However, Okaa-san will be upset with me if I stay here . . ." She looked to him.

I rise, grab a bowl and fill it with rice. I set it on the table and push it to her. Then eat, until you are strong agian. If this Okaa gets upset have her come to me, I will answer all her questions and accept the blame. Now if you'll excuse me I will prepare your room. I bow to her turn and head into the bedroom. I throw a blanket over my armour chest, or gusoku bitsu.

Gently she grasped the bowl and bowed back to him, "Arigato, Kibakichi-san . . . " Iyasu looked down to the bowl, hearing the samurai walk out of the room.
'What about you? She thought looking up swiftly to his shadow dancing on the wall in the other room.

She had eaten the bowl of rice and was up about to wash it. Iyasu looked over her shoulder and bowed to him.
"Kabikichi-san, if I am being rude, excuse me . . . but what about you? Where are you going to stay?" She asked placed the bowl in the cleaning bucket and turned around to face him fully.

"But, I do . . ." She whispered softly, feeling that he would never let her in. "As you wish." Iyasu said a loud and bowed to him deeply, "Thank you again and, I guess, good night . . . Kibakichi-san."

She walked passed him, silently not bothering to say another word or make eye contact. Iyasu entered the samurai's room and shut the door behind her before getting undressed to her under robe. She delicately placed her kimono and obi away before climbing into bed. Her hair would be ruined by the morning, but she didn't care. She just wanted to know one answer from him . . . a simple answer . . . however, it seemed Kibakichi-san was going to it to himself.

I sigh softly as I grab a couple of blankets, climbed up to the attic, and make a small bed. I walk back downstairs and throw some wood on the fire, then climb into my makeshift bed. I stare at the fire, until I fall asleep.

The morning's light shined through the rough curtains gently warming the geisha's face. She rolled over to the face the door. Her hair was a mess around her cheeks, but it seemed to frame her well. Her eyes fluttered open to gaze at the small quarters and its simple designs. It was not like her room in the okiya, but it still had a charm to it.
Iyasu rose up from bed and sighed softly as she whipped the blankets back and set her feet onto the floor. She crossed over to where her kimono lie and shook her head free of the hair style it was in before. Her locks caressed her shoulders with a softness that she had missed for a while now. Quietly, she dressed herself and tied her obi as best as she could. She sighed softly once more before leaving the room and starting breakfast for them.

I had awaken sometime before sunrise, finshing tending to the horses, and was practicing out in the meadow. My juban and obi were hung on the fence, my upper body glisened as sunlight hit the sweat on my bronze, battle-scared skin. I smelt something coming from the cottage. "Iyasu muat be up." I smiled as I did a back handspring, then rolled forward, pushing against the ground with my feet, I sprung high into the air, doing a rising uppercut. I landed and kept practicing what my many teachers had taught me. Shifting seemlessly from Karate to Kung Fu, I contiuned to practice, just as I've done since I was young.

She made a traditional Japanese breakfast: fish, rice, tea, and other bits that accompanied it. She made it as her mother would have done for her husband, but with a sullen pride. She sighed inwardly and set everything up on the table. Iyasu walked out onto the cottage's entrance and called out to Kibakichi to tell him breakfast was ready.
"Ohayo, Kibakichi-san. Breakfast is done." She said though her tone was shifted through a delicate remorse and refined act of her dual role.

I smile and stop my practicing, walk over to the fence, and spring up onto it, my feet in the air. I hold it feeling the blood rush to my head. I do a couple vertical push-ups, on the last one I touch my nose to the fence-post and push up hard. I spring into the air and land on my feet. I put on my sleeveless juban and obi, but found it to make me hotter, so I loosened the belt and pulled my arms through the holes and let it fall down. It looked kinda like this.I walk up to the cottage, my upper body glisened as sunlight hit the sweat on my bronze, battle-scared skin. Ohayo gozimasu, Iyasu-san. I say with a bow.
