Reeshie Hack Chobi_Chocobo Reeshie Hack Julian flew pretty well with the group, up until he turned back into his human form again. He landed with a sigh a few feet ahead of the others. The change had been bad when he was on the ground, it was worse in the air. It worried him even more to fly over the water now, since changing mid-flight had caused him to waver and almost come crashing down to the ground. Needless to say, he dropped his lights.
The demon walked back a few paces, stooping to pick them up. He straightened, watching the group catching up.
"I don't think it's much farther," he said with a small shrug, pointing in the direction he'd seen the bridge in when he'd been higher up. His feathers fluffed up as he wrapped his wings around his shoulders, turning as he hid his arms and the lights he'd more or less looped over his shoulder in a feathery cloak. He'd take his tent and other things from Christof, but there was no telling when he'd turn back and it just seemed pointless, really. A small pink plaid dot can be seen in the distance. Its approaching fast and as it approaches its clear that its an elephant and its coming right for you! HP: 5Miss Julian let out a rasping hiss as he dodged out of the way of the absurd little... thing, his wings flinging back from around him. He had no idea if this was better or worse than that stupid tree from earlier, though it looked much more fragile. And smaller. And not as hard. Physically of course.
He lashed out with one clawed hand at it.
And missed. Looks like hitting it would be the hard part. Julian's HP :: 16 - 0 = 16 Attack Damage :: 0 The elephant skids to a stop and charges you again. Why is it in such a horrible mood? "Take this bird!" It lashes out with its trunk. HP: 5Miss

The skinwalker stared good and hard at their goal for a few minutes longer, seemingly ignoring the zombie trying to get his attention. Shock still, it was a few good minutes before he even moved, slowly swiveling his head back towards the literal 'dogpile,' looking between them for a second. Nuk gave Sammy a dark look, clearly not amused by her making him into Lassie. Did he look like a rescue-dog? Did rescue dogs viscously tear apart living things? He didn't think so. Turning away, the exceptionally large wolf-like creature dug his feet into snow, kicking it up violently to cover the Zombie, glancing over his shoulder again to grin at her. She wanted a blanket, she got a blanket!
His entire demeanor changed as Shehk got up, watching her with a tiny little thump of his tail. He was more than happy for her to press herself up against his body, his chest puffing a little, clearly smug. The only problem was... she was in cute-human-form, while he was in... big-ugly-bear/wolf-form. This was a slight kink in his plan, but where there was a will, there was a way, a plan starting to form in his head. Still, he'd bide his time. Plenty of time. For now, he was content to be a heat-lamp, a deep rumble that sounded kind of like a masculine version of a cat-purr vibrating his chest (and possibly subsequently Shehk.) The questions were answered with a sharp nod and shake of his head, only then getting up slowly, letting her latch on to him as started onward, glancing at Sammy and giving a doggy snicker.
((Onward to Christmastown!))

Merope slowed his steps and stared at the two. "You guys don't have a necromancer?" He asked, shocked. "I guess it's a sort of creator, but... Man! Land is a very strange place," he concluded, nodding to himself. When in doubt, write it off as some sort of land-based oddity.
"Hey! I think we're almost outta here!" He said excitedly, "Look! We're almost across the br- BRIDGE! Hey, um, I'll be right back, okay?" The undead sea serpent turned and scurried over to the side of the bridge and jumped into the water, getting in one last swim. "Ahh, there we g- dangit! Wreath, come baccck!" He dived underwater, resurfacing several minutes later on the other side where he waited for his companions.

Watching Julian fight, Israfel frowned. "I get the feeling that these guys are racists." A nod. "Winged racists." The ignored factor being denizens of Halloween had invaded and were killing left and right, not to mention looting the fallen. No, as Israfel saw it, they kept being mean to birds and those with wings. The fact they had invaded had nothing to do with it. Nothing at all. Watching as more and more people phased into the city further on, Israfel debated on waiting. The longer he waited, the more danger his friends who had moved on would get into, but...For all his rushing, he found himself unable to leave any behind. Soft hearted siren indeed.

Finally seeing the end of the road, Tari made for the bridge. She was glad to be away from the toys but wondered what awaited her in Christmastown. She had heard stories from the many tales from Jack's trip there.

Julian flopped onto the present, his wings covering it as if it were prey that was too heavy for him to lift, surrounded by scraps and fluff. And while that wasn't true, he was too tired to try for one and he couldn't carry both the loot and his lights in this form for another.
There were dark places marking bruises on his body and head and other places where his feathers were out of place and there were several feathers scattered on the snow among the tattered elephant, but he was triumphant regardless. His eyes closed to slits while he waited for the others, his breath coming out every so often with a hoarse hiss.
Let that be a warning to any other toys.

Woooahhhhhhhhhh. If Shehk had tried talking when Nukpana vibrated, she probably would have made that 'chopped up talking-into-a-fan' voice. Instead, she just laughed, scratching at the skin beneath his fur in a sort of adoring way (now why didn't she act like this when they were both thumb-bearing?) and almost considering assaulting his face with affections to before she realized it was somewhat lacking in features for her to harass with her fingers.
Alas.
She just patted him on a shoulder before climbing up onto his back...which some great effort, having to kick her legs a little to get herself settled behind the withers and grinning once she had, scratching his head and rubbing her legs against his sides. Mmmm. Warm and fuzzy. Better than the alternative of I R COLLLLLDZZZ! Not that there was anything bad with cold. She just didn't like it in the least.
However, once she was up, Shehk was settled enough to not throw herself off of the skinwalker's back... and actually paused to consider if Nuk wouldn't want her up there, making a slight face at the notion. Alas...
"If you decide you don't want me up here, just let me know, Nukpana." she said as she scratched at his back under her hands
However, it seemed that he knew exactly where it was they were headed, leaving Shehk to come along for the ride with her new EPIC MOUNT. Well, as long as he stayed in that four legged form. She'd get off of him when he started changing back, though... IF he started changing back.. ... ....
She kind of hoped he would though.
((To Christmas town! biggrin ))

Astra was glad to see the end of the island was just up ahead. And beyond this island would be fabled Christmas town, the legendary place where Jack was said to have been... But then, it may also have more of the toys that had attacked them, and they would be alot stronger too...
She flicked her wings to see how they were fairing, and was please to feel they had thawed out some. She should be able to fly off soon, but first she wanted to check on the owl who had been fighting that toy, and now seemed a little hurt if not tired.
"Are you okay Mr owl?" She asked the student, not knowing his name

Lucien stopped when he seen the bridge and when Israfel tugged on his hand. They were so close, and yet Israfel had stopped. He could understand the siren's concern, he guessed. He wouldn't leave knowing the siren had not crossed. He nodded to Israfel, keeping him close to his side while he looked back towards the direction all the other students were coming from.
"We'll wait then," he said with a nod.
