Edmond followed the child, very curious as to who had broken in and caused the lights to go off. It couldn't have been him because he was with Rosie 3.0 and it shouldn't have been the other two because he told them to get out. Then again they were children who had seen he had a fair amount of money so it was not impossible the think they wanted to keep him around. Still, it would have been a risky choice. When the came to the escape tunnel and she took out the cube The Count said nothing. He was surprised but did his best not to show it. "We should hurry. Whoever got into the security room will be looking for a way out and I am pretty sure this is the best option."

The child nodded and quickly put the cube back in place. Knowing where the fake wall was at, she wouldn't have any trouble knowing which one to walk through. As the cube was placed back, the hologram reappeared. The child quickly headed towards the wall and passed through it. Once to the trap door, she undid the locks around it and did her best to try and lift the lid. She had... a fair amount of trouble doing so. It was safe to say that strength was not part of whatever this versions powers consisted of. When the hatch finally did open, the child hurried over to the ladder lining the inside of the tunnel wall and hurried down it. She didn't think she needed to tell the man to close the latch when he was in the tunnel. Once at the bottom, they found themselves in a dimly-lit intersection of tunnels. It looked close to a series of sewer tunnels... but much dryer. The tunnels seemed to be made specifically to escape from the lab. With the hidden hologram cubes, it was safe to say that not very many people knew about the escape tunnels except for those who absolutely need to know.

The Count followed Rosie and waited when she struggled to open the lid. He did feel slightly bad for not helping but none of the guards here seemed all to nice when he fought them so he didn't want to break character. After they were both down into the tunnels he closed the latch but he made no attempt to lock it. Then the Count hurried over to Rosie and continued to follow her. "No one told me about these... we cold have put in so many security measures..." He mumbled to keep character.

"They don't want many people to know about them." Rosie replied. "To easy for them to be used for some of the... experiments to escape." She said the last bit as though she weren't happy with the idea of the people above being called experiments. It did make her one after all. The paths, luckily enough, seemed easy enough to follow. It looked like the main tunnel was large, while the ones that led to separate halls were smaller and narrower. The child just went in the direction she had guessed was one of the exits and continued walking. It was only dawning on her now that the escape hatch would be locked and the man wouldn't be able to get up to where he needed unless he unlocked the hatch from the bottom. She certainly wasn't tall enough or strong enough to undo the latches herself.

"Well that's understandable." Edmond said not enjoying how she called the people experiments as if she was not one of them. He walked with her for a while until he saw the hatch at which point he rushed over to in pulling his knife from the inside of his suit jacket. He was surprised he had gone this long with out her remarking on his outfit or the mask. Now he figured it didn't matter much. She was young and didn't seem exactly brave. If she did question him or try and call security he would remind her about his ability to lie and make it seem she had assisted his escape. Using the knife he undid the first lock, to be fair he broke it instead of undoing it. Then he put his hood on and did the same with the rest. then he turned his attention to Rosie. "Ladies first." He said bluntly no longer having a reason to lie about who he was. If the exit was as close as she had lead him to believe he did not have far to go before he would be free.

The child gave him an odd look, but didn't seem to think much more on his sudden sense of urgency to get out of the tunnel. Hurrying up to the ladder, she grabbed on and began climbing up through the open hatch. Once she was up and out, she moved away from the opening to let the man slip out of the tunnel. Like the hall they had entered the tunnel from, the escape hatch was located in what should have been a door-less closet. Another illusion was spread over the wall to hide the location of the tunnel. The child moved out into the hallway to let the man have all the room he needed to get out. The hallway itself was fairly empty. A few security cameras scattered through the hall with wires hanging from them. And one large, heavily secured metal door. It appeared to be one of the more secured doors in the lab, so it was safe to say this door led out of the laboratory. With the flashing lights... it was also safe to say it might take more than just a swipe card to get through the door.

Edmond waited until Rosie was up and then he followed. When he reached the top of the latter Edmond took a moment to find the fake wall and when he did he traveled through it. On the other side he was met with slight disappointment. Edmond moved over to the cameras and looked at them. They would not be hard to fix. He could get Rosie to open the door and he could work on the cameras. Edmond handed her Octavious' card and walked over to the cameras "See if you can get that door open. If you can clearly more security is need in this area." The Count ordered.

Rosie looked at him a moment, then looked down at the card. "Open the door? You mean the exit? But... we're on lock down. We shouldn't even try to open a door until the lights come back on the right way." she said, glancing back at the large metal door. His request made sense... if someone had a swipe card they could get past anything except for these outer doors. For that you needed a code number to punch in. If you could get out with just the card, then there was a problem. But... they were on lock down. If whoever it was that had gotten into the security room got out, they shouldn't have any doors opened. Or even half way opened.

"If the intruder was creative enough to find and get into the security room I don't imagine it being incredibly hard for them to get to an exit and escape. Try and open the door so we can find out what extra security measures to put in place. If it comes to it try and blow the door up. If it blows we know to add a blast shield." Edmond made it up as he went. It seemed a solid enough reason in his head but he was not sure the Rosie would see it that way. He did not turn his back to her though because now he felt uneasy in the situation.

The girl just stared up at him with a confused expression. Checking to make sure the door didn't open up, she could understand. But.... blow it up? Why would they do that? HOW would she do that? Suddenly she wasn't feeling so comfortable being in this position. "B...blow it up?" she questioned. "I can't do that. If they try and escape, it's only our problem if they come down this way somehow. I mean... you're in a costume. I'm assuming you can do more than just techy stuff if someone comes down this way." she said. Trying to turn the topic onto something other than opening the door.

The Count fell silent and turned back towards the camera. He adjusted the wires until the camera came online. Then he took a few steps back away from it making sure whoever was watching the cameras could see he was not someone from the lab. He them motioned over to Rosie and turned away from the camera. "So you have absolutely nothing useful left to do?" Edmond asked her. He did not care much for his disguise now. Now he was to close to stop. He was going to get out.

The little girl's uncomfortableness began to show as Edmond moved towards her. "Wh.... what do you mean?" she asked. Her voice clearly nervous now. "I...I don't know the other half of the code to open the door or anything." she said, taking a step back away from him.

The Count took a step back from Rosie. "The other half? So you do have part of the code. That is helpful. Put your half of the code in and do try to get the other half correct. As you should be able to tell, I lied about being a guard. I am the intruder and now I want out. So you will let me out, or I will find someone who will." Edmonds threat was not serious, he would feel morally conflicted hitting or hurting any of the Rosie's because of the age they looked but he believed if she was afraid of him she would help. Some times fear was the better tool.

And the child was clearly afraid now. Her gaze darted from the Count to the security camera he had just activated. She was in a bad spot... if she did what he said, then she'd get in trouble with the people in charge. She heard that another one of her duplicates had led the intruder around, so she doubted that any of the duplicates would get any form of leniency after this. But if she didn't do as he said, who's to say he wouldn't try to get rid of her. The code was the only useful thing she had going for herself right now. But... if she did get the door open... who's to say he'd leave her alone afterwards? Who's to say she'd be safe after he left? And if she didn't get the code right, the door was set to "freeze up" if she tried the wrong code more than once. The little girl's bottom lip trembled as she looked back at the door behind her. She could reach the swipe card, and she'd just be able to reach the buttons. But he got the camera working again, right? She'd get caught helping him... What should she do...

"You know the other two were quite more talkative then you. Well they weren't scared to be fair." The Count said after a period of silence. "Look, I have been in here for some time now and I want out, that Scorpion got in my way, did I kill him, no, but I hurt him. Octavious got in my way is he dead? No, but I hurt him. Now you are getting in my way. Open the door or do something that will help me get out." Edmond was blunt because he knew he was running out of time. He had made sure he was seen on the camera and that meant someone was going to be coming for him. Either because he was an intruder or because whoever else broke in wanted to find him. He had no time left to waste.
