Sonic grinned at Jewel, "I never left. Sorry I took a while to decide."
Eggman growled, "You! You're still alive?!"
"Still surprised?" Sonic laughed.
"GRRR... Metal Sonic! Get him!" Eggman shouted.
Sonic looked at Jewel, "You get out of here! Try to get everyone else to safety!"

jewel starts coughing a little trying to get up " I'll try..." jewel said getitng to her feet holding her arm as she starts moving away to go and try to help the others. she first goes to look for rotor " ...don't know how I can help everyone...." jewel said going into one of the huts and trys to make a sling for her arm

jewle blinks hearing rotor's voice " r-rotor?" jewle said walking into another part of the hut her amr now in a sling ".. can I help you...sonic said for me to try and help...I can't carry much but what can I do to help?"

jewels ears go down "... shadow just got beaten up by metal sonic... I don't knwo where I'm supose to go...sonic asked me to help the others..."

Rotor frowned, "Well you can follow us to HQ since you have no other choice." He said, "Unless you want to stay with them, I don't think you should if you don't plan to die yet. Don't expect Shadow to help you no more. He's been punished, thus he will not be in his happiest mood."

Rotor smiled, "You made the right choice. You will not regret it." He nodded and got his things, "Let's go, I know another way out."
As for Shadow, he was sinking to the bottom of the lake. He was semi-unconscious. He then was staring to see someone he once knew, Maria.

jewel frowns looking back feeling really bad as she rubs her eye, and follows rotor " rotor what about sonic and the other people...I don't think shadow ment for this to happen....he was about as shocked and everyone....but how did eggman find out where we were..."
