Not that she didn't expect it but... it pretty much confirmed her thoughts. That frown disappeared quickly enough as the woman watched him try to rack up a response. It had been silly hadn't it? Besides what was she thinking? She was prepared to just tell him to forget it when he spoke up. It seemed she threw him for a loop, which led her to chuckle slightly. "It doesn't have to be right now Pip" Alice told him, her blue gaze focusing on his. If he even could... He mentioned something about showing her... but what did that mean. "Show me? Well... I'm sure you'll figure something out" she added, honestly because she didn't know what she wanted herself. If Pip wanted something from her, he'd have to convince her. How? That was the problem wasn't it? ...He got her to ask, which was a huge step in itself.

 ✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪Ari wandered over to the bar, and smirked when he saw who he was looking for. He walked up behind Lirian and tugged on the back of her jacket, causing her to fall back into him. He wrapped his arms around her, grinning and putting his head on top hers. At the moment he didn't have his glasses on, but he didn't really need them, so it didn't matter. His short-sword was safely in it's sheathe on his waist. He could feel Lirian was wearing her sword too, under her jacket, as usual. They both had permits to carry them, but Lirian liked to hide hers for some reason. He noticed earlier that she had been talking to two guys, and gazed at them coolly for a moment, before returning his attention to Lirian. ✪✪ ✪ --- --- --- --- ---  ✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian let herself be pulled back by her jacket (Luckily her soda was on the counter), and tilted her head backwards to see who had hugged her. She saw red hair and a grinning face, and knew who it was immediately. "Ah. Heya Ari." She said, smiling back. She was very relaxed, and others may have actually thought they were dating, if only because of the hug and their demeanor, it was clear they were close. Of course, they weren't dating or anything. That would be ridiculous. Ari was her cousin. They had lived together, well, close to each other, for many years in London. ✪✪✪

But, that aside, she was happy he didn't blanch when she insinuated a day together. Either he guessed she wasn't being serious or he wouldn't mind the idea of it. Being the quiet optimist she was, she opted for the latter and, to her own pleasure, she seemed to be right on track with that assumption as he asked for her number too in the next exchange. Awesome! She hadn't traded numbers since, well, since she was in school, because she didn't have much of a number to give, what with her home being void of her for most of the year and cell phones were just a big no-no on the road.. “Well, not much of a number I can give, but the place I'm staying at has a phone, so, sure.” May as well make it clear that he probably shouldn't expect her answering all the time. She tugged up the sleeve on the bright red jacket she wore, showing him her arm without much warning when he asked.
“Trust me, I'd lose it if you wrote it on anything outside of my hat and arm.” She told him honestly, though she had a playful tone while she poked fun at herself. As far as soft skin went, well, Theresa was never the sort to lotion every morning, noon, and night like Kade would, but she wasn't bad. Not that she ever paid much attention to that. “I get to write on you next, though, for marring my perfect skin~!” She fluttered her eyelashes and swayed her head back slightly in a mimic of, well, her brother. She doubted Matthew even knew who Kade was, but she still had the urge to do it regardless, followed by a chuckle. If she ever started to act like that, she would kill herself, not that she minded people who did, but, well. Difference. She doubted Matthew was into the delicate flowers like that, anyway.

Jack was waiting for his beer when he saw a red head guy walk up and hug Lirian. 'Seriously?! Who is this guy? Is Lirian in a realtionship? How could he have been so foolish? A girl like her would be taken.' Jack thought and sighed. When he looked bar at the counter, a beer was in front of him, Apparently the bartender already served him and he wasn't paying attention. He gulped down half the bottle and narrowed his eyes at Ari "Sooooo......Lirian, is this your boyfriend?" Jack asked as he stared down Ari. His was jealous and alittle mad that Lirian didn't tell him about a boyfriend. Jack down the rest of the beer, a good buzz coming on. Jack was a light weight drinker. Two beers or one large one and he was good and drunk. "So how long have you known her, mister boyfriend? You follow her from london like stalker?"

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian disregarded the stalker comment as a joke. She had heard that American's joked about all kinds of silly things, sex, drugs, stuff like that. Strange people. Lirian looked over at Jack. "Ah, no, I don't have a boyfriend." She said, grinning. "This is my cousin, Ari." She turned to look up at Ari again. "Be nice Ari." She chided, before looking back at Jack. ✪✪✪--- --- --- --- --- ✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪Ari was not as naive as his cousin, and got what the other said perfectly. When Lirien looked back at him to explain he was her cousin, he flipped the guy off, England style, with a backwards peace sign. It was somewhat hidden, since he was hugging Lirien, but the guy would see it. It was clearly a back the hell off from him. He was very, very protective of Lirien. Anyone who wanted her, got past him. Then, Lirien told him to be nice, and for appearances, he smiled, but it was a cold smile regardless. "Nice to meet you, I'm Ari." He said, looking coolly at the man. ✪✪ ✪

Jack glared at Ari, even in his slight drunken stupor, he could tell he was offensive. Jack would have backed off and felt like a jackass but it was too late for that. He ordered and received a second beer. He took a drink off it and smiled coldly back at him "Oh Ari? Cousin huh? Well then Ari, why come here to america? Following after Lirian? I think she is a big girl, I don't think she needs her big bad cousin hanging around her." Jack took another drink of the beer. Between the alcohol and his jealousy, he was becoming somewhat of a jerk. "And if your aren't a stalker, how did you know she was at a bar? I think its kind of creepy" Jack finished his beer and stared Ari down.

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian got distracted by something a bit further off, and wandered off for a bit, letting the boys talk. She wanted to explore this place a bit anyways. Luckily things in London were similar, so she didn't get lost or anything, which was good. ✪✪✪--- --- --- --- --- ✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪Now that Lirian had left, sadly before the man's little outburst, he could speak freely. "We came here together you nitwit." He said, no pretenses of being nice left now. Lirian was gone, he could say whatever he liked now. Stupid man, hitting on Lirian. His scarlet eyes shone slightly, though more with frost than anything. This jerk thought he could be near Lirian, he was sadly mistaken. ✪✪ ✪

Jack smirked and finished his second beer "And did she know you were with her?" He said with a drunken chuckle "Or did you hide away til you got to the land? And why can't you leave her by herself? Does she complete you Ari? Cause thats kind of wrong if you get down to it. " He leaned forward and smiled with a cocky grin "Or doesn't she know about you feelings? Maybe you should look someone outside of the family." Jack smirked and leaned back in his bar stool. Jack had completely changed, when it came to alcohol, Jack was like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.

"Of course, we planned everything together, to live on this island that is. She said it was nice here, though I'm not sure I'd agree with her synopsis."✪✪ ✪

Jack growled in annoyance at Ari. Jack stared at Ari, his mind foggy and he couldn't think of a response. Jack stood on wobbly legs, almost loosing his balance but he gain his posture. "So mr.britain, you don't like it here? Well then go back to london then! Leave you cousin here though, let her live by herself for once and let her be free. Or....Are you the once that can't live without her? You not man enough to go somewhere without you dear little Lirian?" He asked then leaned in close to him "But I don't blame you, hot little thing like that, I wouldn't want to leave her side either" He whispered to him then laughed drunkenly, the smell of beer on his breath lingered around Ari's face.

✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪That irritated him. Of course, he kept his bored look. He generally did when he was getting upset. "Well, good luck with that."He said calmly. "Anyways, I wouldn't leave her with perverts like you around at any rate." He said. Well, this man was an idiot. Acting like this, in public, around his cousin. Of course, the stupidest part was that he was irritating him. He had a sword on his waist for godsake! That nitwit. Anyways, the real story was that Lirian had asked him to come live here with her, and he obliged, as he enjoyed being around Lirian. Not that he told the man that, he had no business knowing that, unless Lirian told him. ✪✪ ✪

Jack snickered "A pervert am I? You should take that as a compliment." Jack said with a cocky grin "I mean since you got the shallow end of the gene pull, you should be glad you cousin got all the good stuff." Jack laughed in a drunken stupor "I bet you jealous huh? I mean the creepy cousin of such a hottie. You only stick around her so that somebody might pity you for being the ugly one and get you laid, am I right? Use the pity card on girls?"

Of course, he had no trouble getting dates from either gender, he was actually very attractive, and people seemed to like his strange eye color. He hung out with Lirian because she was like his sister, and they liked to spend time together. Though, truth be told, he was getting close to wanting to stab this man. No, he really did want to stab this infuriatingly stupid American, but he restrained himself, how lucky for him. Anyways, Lirian would be back at any moment, if she wasn't watching what was happening now anyways. "You are infuriatingly stupid." He said boredly, not much of a tone in his voice. He could have been talking about the weather with that tone. ✪✪ ✪

Jack's left eye twitched alittle "Stupid?" He asked annoyed "Stupid?!" He said alittle loudly "I'll tell you one thing, I am not stupid!" He said angrily. He poked Ari's chest hard "I didn't follow my cousin like a creepy incesting pervert from another country, like you Mr. Britain!" He poked him harder in the chest "So don't you come here and say I'm stupid." Jack clenched his fists and in a drunken fury, he swung at Ari.

✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪Ari easily dodged the punch, simply sidestepping. It was a sloppy punch regardless, the idiot was drunk after all. "You really ought to stop now, you're just digging yourself deeper here." He sighed, still bored. The man's insults did nothing, and he was just making a fool of himself. He did wonder where his cousin got off to though, ah well, they would probably head home soon anyway. Bar fights were so... Well, boring. He could dodge anything the man threw at him with ease. ✪✪ ✪
