The boulder was next; this time, the 'earplug' bushes were gone entirely. In fact, as the plague doctor approached, the boulder cracked open one granite eye, then scooted out of the way almost primly.

"Grazie," Malodore said politely as it passed by. The boulder just grunted.

- Malodore rounded the corner and got a beakful of fur. White fur. Angry white fur. Angry white fur that was vibrating because the beast it was attached to was growling.

... Merde.

Viveca wasn't sure how she felt about this class. It seemed strange to her to have to pass through a maze for it. But she was always up for a challenge, so she figured what the heck. She took in the large hedges, eying them with some interest. They were much taller than her...well, that didn't take much. At five foot even, a lot of things ended up being much taller than herself.

She shrugged to herself and decided to have a go at it.

Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.)

Viveca immediately encountered a very small creature, flailing it's right hand about, a thorn apparently stuck in it's thumb.

"I was trying to pluck a flower, and THIS happened."

The ghouls first instinct was to side step the pitiful little creature, but just as she was about to, the word 'little' stuck in her head. She had a bit of a soft spot for anything shorter than herself, and so she wordlessly bent down and plucked the thorn from the things hand.

"Although why YOU couldn't have done that yourself..." she muttered, as he thanked her and darted behind a hedge.

Roll 2- If you roll a 26-100, you pass and can go on to round three. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. )

She had to tell a story to get by this...stoney thing? Ugh, whatever. In typical teenage ghoul fashion, Viveca was bored and thinking of a million different things she could be doing, instead of in this dark, dingy maze (with sounds closing in on her, which sounded none too friendly). This wasn't a cute little imp, with a thorn. This took effort. And it was taller than her. Well, fine.

Crossing her arms and tapping her platformed boot impatiently, she started to tell the story about how her parents had met, which, as a young ghoul, she had always loved hearing.

"It was late one night, and fog had started to descend on the lands. There were two lovers out for a stroll in the moonlight, when they encountered a single, small horse. The horse allowed the girl to climb on it's back, but couldn't fit the second, and mournfully, the man wouldn't let go of the girl's hand. A second petite horse came out of the thick fog, and allowed the man on it's back. The horses nuzzled as though old friends, although they had just met. With a twinkle in their eyes, they took off down the sandy shore, and were soon soaring above the ground. The made a rapid accent, neighing happily, reveling in the terrified screams of the humans. As they soared in front of the moon, they disappeared, leaving the humans alone, plummeting from a height of several thousand feet. My parents say it was a perfect first date."

The bolder remained stoic, but seemed to think it an acceptable tale as it raised itself up and let her pass by, unharmed

Roll 3- If you roll a 51-100, you pass and can go on to round four. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

You hear a deep rumbling growl of something near you. It sounds as if the noise is in the pathway next to you... but after pausing and holding your breath, you can somehow tell the creature has sensed you and is looking for a way to get over to you. A flash of white and red through the foliage of the maze tells you its something large... and mean. ( If you roll a 51-100, you pass the creature after hauling some tush away. If you roll a 1-50... The creature gets around the maze somehow and chases you out. )

The unfriendly sounds became much closer. MUCH closer. In fact...Viveca covered her mouth to keep from shouting as a flash lit up the enclosed area she now occupied. She clenched her teeth and held her breath. Maybe it would go away...

Oh Jack dammit, she didn't want to become something's dinner. It might have been safer to stay put and hope it walked away, but she was impatient and REALLY didn't want to be in that spot anymore. She took off running, straight down the path in front of her.

After she put a significant amount of space between her and the noise, she chanced to stop, breathing heavily.

But her breath was all she heard. She had made it past!

FINALLY! You made it to the end and you can see the little purple ball things sitting in a large metal bucket at the heart of the maze. A animal skin with a horse skull is sitting next to it... strange, but you take it as decor. As you approach though... you hear a whistling sound and suddenly feel like your being watched. Closer you go... as you try and reach out for one of the prizes, the horse head and skin somehow disappear... and behind you is a LARGE and angry ghost horse staring at you with large glowing green eyes. Rearing backwards it charges as you. ( If you rolled a 76-100, then you manage to grab one of the pokeballs before being chased out of the maze by the ghost horse... if you roll a 1-75, the ghost horse just chases you out empty handed.)

Viveca had caught her breath and was now in a clearing with some strange balls in a large bucket. Well. Since she was here....

She reached out to grab one, but as she was about to clasp her hand around it, a ghost horse charged.

Finally letting out a scream, she lost all thought of getting a shiny prize and hauled it out of the maze.

She had decided to take another crack at it. Viveca had gotten so far last time, she was sure she'd make it through this time. The demon stood at the entrance of the maze. Stupid super tall shrubs.

Here goes nothin'! she thought.

Much to her surprise, the same little imp greeted her once again at the entrance of the maze. It was holding out his hand again, another thorn stuck in his thumb.

"REALLY?" she asked, looking down at it. This time she decided not to help. Little or not, this thing was a moron and didn't deserve her help. Since she was much taller (for once!) than the creature, she went to sidestep it.

Viveca assumed it would just let her pass, but without a word it changed from a whimpering little imp to a raging ball of crazy, going after her ankles.

"Oh, screw it!" Viveca called. It just wasn't worth it. She turned and fled out of the maze.

Israfel waddled today. Waddled towards it. He waddled....to the maze of despair.

Israfel sighed at the imp. Each time. Plucking the splinter, he passed into the maze. It hadn't ever gone far before. He doubted this time would be much diffrent.

Another session, yet the same maze lingered. Deep breaths to calm him, Israfel stepped forward to face it once more.

Ah yes, the boulder, riddle taker. "What is round?" A great many things. A riddle impossible to get wrong. Or...was it.
