My hair is boring. It's naturally wavy and I have some little curls when it's humid, but i can't really use irons or rollers and have it last more than 5 min. In part because it's long (waist length) and part because of genetic. My hybrid Mongolian hair genes are seem to be undefeatable. It's really hard to dye too. My mom was a curly ginger and my father had blue-black so I ended up calico and am pretty happy about it, but it would be nice to have more styling options with out having to use a crap-load of product

I used to straighten my hair /every/day. would not go anywhere with it natural. now..I don't even brush my hair unless I'm straightening it or curling it.
for curling, I usually mouse it while it's wet and then put in aussi scrunch. it works /really/ well but it's not really curly.. kinda.. idunooo. crunchy looking? they aren't really soft curls like you'd get with an iron or rollers. but it's cuuute

I searched the internet in an attempt to find out how much is supposed to come out. It wasn't helpful. All I could find was the amount of blood I'm supposed to lose, but there's plenty of other stuff involved here and I want to know how much liquid, no matter what it technically is, is supposed to come out (both per second and per cycle).
Tell me.

I'm really squeamish about this stuff, but some sites were saying 80mL (and others were saying 100mL) was the upper bound for what was 'normal' and that any more than that meant that something was wrong. I don't know how you would measure that, though >.<
This site is kinda confusing but says "The usual statement that a normally menstruating woman should not have to use more than three napkins during the twenty four hours is correct."
I want to help, but I don't think I can handle reading about more of this D=

Whited out. ^^; Actually, I've never heard anyone say it was okay to change only three times a day, so I doubt that's accurate. I think you're supposed to change every hour or something like that. (Sucks to be a human being in need of sleep, it does.)

Yeah, that seemed weird to me, too. Because on a lighter day, I might do (1) before school (2) after school (3) before bed, but on a heavier day, I'd probably need to change it during school, too, and maybe even another time between school and bed. I don't knowwwww. I wish I knew what to tell you >.<

Bleh...my lower back has been so sore lately, and I haven't had me period for days. D: I'm a little worried.
On the topic of Hair: I dislike mine. xP It's nice and curly at the bottom, but it's horribly frizzy at the top... Have any of you tried hair wax? I've heard that it's more effective than mouse.

My hair has the ugliest wave to it so I often straighten/curl/crimp my hair so I don't have to look at my ugly wavy hair.
But my hair is real pretty and it gets all colorful in the summer.

@kestin You aren't supposed to leave tampons in for more than like 3-5 hours, because of TSS. I'm not sure about pads because I don't really use them cause they gross me out lots >.>' but that's all the help i can add to that D: sorry!
On a happier note, I'm not going to be on my period (hopefully) when I go to my 4/20 show! that means no freaking out!

Cotton should not be inside of me! Plus they absorb rather than catch so they can take from your body what it needs. One of these days I seriously need to buy a menstrual cup. No icky tampons or pads and not having to deal with that "s**t I'm out of pads" moment.

Is it pathetic that taking about tampons and things freaks me out, but periods generally do not?
I use towels... I do not like the idea of something floating around inside me... just *shudders*. Tampons freak me out.
