Emerson laughed aloud at Shayla’s choice of cars. A small car for a small girl. Oddly enough, he thought that it fit her perfectly. He liked the spinner types of girls; it reminded him of Amelia, despite that her physical characteristics did not even close to technically meet the standards of a “spinner.”
“I like Rolls Royce. Only the best, for the Valentine children. Do you do yoga? Or one of those such classes? Amelia is wild about yoga. She thinks that that is one of the best ways to blend her body into a single cohesive unit.”

Liana thought about it she liked rolls royce but they were not her type of car that she would choose to drive.
"I do yoga" she nodded her head "I usually would do that after I run before classes or I squeeze it in after class but it usually feels best after I run or swim stretches out the muscles" she smiled.
"And it does help that it makes a girl more flexible that's another good reason to do it"

"Amelia is wild about yoga."
Emerson smiled at a private memory of his sister. The smile turned into a small frown as they came into sight of the female dormitory and he spotted Amelia leaning against the outer doors, smoking. From the rapid flaring and unflaring of her cigarette, he could tell that she was nervous; she only ever smoked like that when she was nervous. Speak of the devil. I wonder what's up? A bad night with what's-his-face?
"I've never noticed an increase in flexibility myself, but you never know."
He grinned again.
"Least favorite food?"

Liana walked with him more as she looked at the female dorms and saw Amelia standing there as well. She wondered what was wrong and why she was standing out there but she kept quiet. "Umm" she started as she thought of what kind of food she hated "I hate asparagus, I hate the smell of it, I think it smells disgusting" she said to him shrugging.
"What don't you like?"

Emerson smiled absently, still eyeing the nervous looking Amelia. I guess I’ll find out soon enough. The hyper-protective gene in him was starting to kick in as Emerson’s mind whirled at all the possibilities concerning what fretted Amelia.
“That’s funny. We love asparagus. The best way is sautéed, in a stir fri. I don’t like apples, though. Gross things. And always poisoned, oddly enough.”
His replies were as absent as his smile was. Finally, he shook off the feeling as they made their way into earshot of the dorms. He glanced over at Liana.
“Do you like cats?”
Amelia seemed to answer for Liana.
“Dripy little things, moving along about a foot above the ground.”
Is she high? Emerson looked closer at his twin. She didn’t look high, but then, she almost never did...
“Above? Don’t you mean on the ground?”
Amelia shook her head, pulling deeply on her f**.
“Just dripping, behind furniture. Little spring flowers with blue in them might come up first…what if someone stomps on them and they’re all gone? Who would drip then?”
Yep, she was soaring. So early, too. Emerson laughed lightly.

Liana turned her attention to Amelia when she speaking in circles about something. A little bit of a bizarre look came onto Liana's face until she just smiled and shook her head.
"Good Morning Amelia. How was the rest of your night last night?" she was curious about what happened after she had to go because Emerson had to bail for some business reason or another she couldn't remember right now what it was but it wasn't really important either.

Amelia blinked emptily at Liana. Emerson leaned over and took Amelia's cigarette to suck on it slowly; it was clear to him now that she was zoned out, not quite in the same reality as them. He smiled to himself as Amelia tried to hold a coherent conversation with Liana. Good luck.
"Bon. Who are you?"
"Amelia, this is Liana, the new girl? From the States?"
Amelia shrugged and took her cigarette back. Emerson wondered what she was on; Heroin was their standard, but she'd never had this kind of reaction to their stuff.

She tilted her head a little when Amelia asked who she was. A small smile started to form over her lips in amusement almost seeing how out of it Amelia seemed to be.
"I had attended the dinner last night with you, Emerson and that Draco guy" she told her trying to jog her memory to see if she remembered. Liana only tried that only drug last night but she remembers what she talked about and what happened as well but maybe Amelia was on something different.

Amelia blinked sleepily at Liana, and nodded along with what the Liana was saying.
“Oh.”
Emerson laughed again; he kissed his twin’s cheek lightly as he handed her back her cigarette.
“Go lay down, Amelia. Take the day; I don’t think you could focus in any of our classes.”
“That sounds like a…good idea.”
Emerson guessed that Amelia hadn’t been to bed all night; she was still wearing the cocktail dress that she’d worn to dinner the previous night, with a slight adjustment: over her shoulders, she was wearing Draco’s dinner jacket. The sight of it made that jealous beast inside of him begin to stir. He wanted, nay, needed to have a nice, long talk with her, after she’d come down. Damn him, and damn her. He turned to Liana after Amelia pushed off her post, and shuffled inside to the warmth of the female dormitory.
“Sorry about that; she’s a little high. It happens.”
He smiled.
“Anyway…I had a fun time with you. Hope I gave you the right kind of…introduction to Steering. Abbreviated, but still.”

She shrugged her shoulder "It's all right, it happens" she smiled at him as let out a breath of a sigh.
Looking up at him she raised her eyebrow since what he said made it sound like this was the end or something along that. Her eyebrow arched up "Are you saying fully goodbye to me?" she sounded a little amused but curious as well "What when I go into these doors I'll never see you ever again or are we never planning on hanging out again?"

"Yes. Have you not yet the matron yet? She eats the girls, I swear."
Emerson's smile was small and short lived. He wanted to sleep with Liana (she was a pretty girl; who wouldn't want to?) but he didn't want to bother with a relationship. He had a girlfriend; she didn't really mind that they were "open." Besides, Liana was a cool cat; someone to hang and soar with, but not much more.
"I just assumed...well, it doesn't matter now. Look, do you want to eat with us at lunch, then? Or dinner again? I owe you one, for yanking you away yesterday."
He rubbed at the bruise on the inside of his elbow again; it was starting to hurt a little bit. I should get it looked at. Maybe later.

Liana looked at his face his offer didn't exactly sound like it was something he really wanted to offer but maybe she was wrong she didn't know him that well to judge him just yet. "It's all right, I don't need to go to dinner or have lunch or whatever" she grinned a little bit "If you're feeling trapped like you need to keep me company all the time don't" she shook her head once.
"Believe it or not I can make other friends, I was just stating that this doesn't have to be a final goodbye I wouldn't mind hanging out again or maybe going for more jogs in the morning with you"
She glanced at her cellphone seeing the time "I got to get into that shower so I can actually make my first class on time" she smiled and moved closer pressing her lips against his cheek for less that a second "I'll see you around" she winked before turning away and going towards the door to go inside.

"No, really, it's no trouble at all. Come on, it'll be good. And maybe Amelia won't be as...high then. And if it's not raining, you should run with me again tonight. I promise I'll let you win this time."
Emerson smiled. He rubbed the back of his head, scratching the sweaty strands of hair.
"I won't take no for an answer. On either counts. See you later, Yank."
He watched as Liana kissed his cheek and then turned practically bouncing into the female dorm. Only when the doors had closed behind her did he turn and begin to jog back to the male's dorm. He had just enough time to shower and change into his school uniform before grabbing his bag and running off to class. The late bell chimed just as he slipped into his seat. Beside him, Amelia was sitting, as dazed as ever still; she was scribbling nonsensical sentences in about seven different languages, switching haphazardly between them. Emerson only shook his head and grabbed one his notebooks and a pen.

Lia went into her room and showered quickly before going back in her room and changing into the uniform they provided. Once done she snatched her scheduale and her bag and made her way towards the classroom building.
Once inside she had a little trouble finding her first class but she made it in right before the late bell rang. Everyone else was taking their seats and Liana found one opened that she went and sat down. She felt curious eyes on her since she was new to the school and so far no rumors or talk have been going around about her yet since she arrived while everyone was still on a kind of vacation. Ignoring the stares she sat down and waited for the teacher to come in to begin.

The first half of the day passed in a blur. A dragging, boring, test filled blur. Emerson was one of those annoying people that can sleep the entire year in class and still come out with the highest scores on any given assignment. Today though, he was more concerned about his twin. It was fun watching her slowly step down off her her high and into the harsh realities of the world. In the morning, they had all of their classes together, but after lunch, that is when they split off: Amelia had band and Emerson had more languages and computer sciences. Now she was blinking in confusion, three classes into the day. He smiled and returned to his mini-quiz.
Soon enough, the bell chimed again and released the students for lunch. He stood and stretched before collecting his things and shoving them back into his satchel. The bag was slung over his shoulder and he laced his fingers through Amelia, bringing his still a little bit high sister back down out of the building and to the mess hall, some metres away. Emerson dropped Amelia off at their customary table before jumping in the line. Soon enough, he came back with two plates of food for himself and his sister.
