Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick nodded his head in respond. "yup, lets go." He said with a smile. He pushed open the door for her, stepping into the air conditioning of the cafe. He paused to scan the area, looking for a good seat. "Ah-ha!" He cried triumphantly. "There looks good." Kedrick was pointing to a small table with two seat, situated by the window. He lead her over and sat down across from her "This is a nice place." He commented mildly, looking around the cafe with calm interest. After a while a pleasant looking young waiter walked over to their table. "Good morning," He said with wide, easy smile. "What can I get you two to drink today?" He pulled a small pad out of his pocket and poised his pen over it, ready to write their orders down. Kedrick pondered this question for a moment, glancing briefly at the menu. "I'll have a small coffee please." He said, looking up at the young man. Kedrick had recently decided that he very much enjoyed the taste of coffee, had has taken to have a small cup every morning. "One small coffee..." The man repeated, jotting it down in his book. "And you miss?" He asked, looking at Arielle with a pleasant smile.

Arielle Shore
With her own nod, she followed Kedrick inside the cafe, thanking him when he opened the door for her. The air conditioning of course always felt good to Arielle. She waited briefly while Kedrick looked for a place for them to sit, following him again when he finally did find a spot for them.
"It sure is," Arielle agreed as she sat down in the seat facing Kedrick. She lightly moved some hair that was trying to get in her face behind her ear. She noticed the waiter and realized she hadn't thought of what she wanted to drink. When it came to her turn, she gave it some thought before finally thinking of her answer.
"Hot chocolate, please," she said with a small smile, "With whipped cream on the top as well, but not too much." Arielle loved hot chocolate and somehow still love to drink some even when it wasn't that cold, she also wasn't a big fan of coffee. Why does my request make me think it was childish, she thought before not thinking too much of it anymore.

The young man smiled at her request. "A hot chocolate with whipped cream and a small coffee, coming right up! I'll be back in a minute to take the rest of your order." He said, and stepped back into the kitchen. Kedrick smiled over the table at her. "We'd better take a look at our options then huh?" He asked, opening the menu between them. He scooted his chair slightly so her was more beside her than across from her. "We could...hm....let's see...I don't' know how you feel about seafood but the breaded shrimp basket seems like a good choice. And there's always the Pittsburgh salad, and any number of burgers...what do you think?" He asked scooting the menu in her direction.

Arielle nodded lightly at their waiter with a pleasant smile before looking back at Kedrick. When he brought over the menu, she looked at it, trying to figure out which dish interested her most. She continued staring and heard Kedrick's voice in the background as she weighed her options.
After giving it some deep thought, she finally made her decision and looked up at Kedrick. "I'm actually in the mood for seafood today, so I'd love to have the breaded shrimp basket. Unless we're sharing our meal, then it wouldn't be fair if I decided what we were eating for both of us..." She paused and a light frown showed up on her face before it disappeared and she smiled shyly at him.

Kedrick shook his head quickly. "no no, The Shrimp basket is fine, in fact, probably would have been my first choice." He said with an honest smile. He leaned back in his chair, resting one arm across the back.
A few minutes later their waiter returned carrying a small, round tray with their drinks. "here we go!" He said cheerfully, setting down the tray and once again pulling out the slim note book. "You guys ready to order or do you need a few more minutes?" He asked, glancing between Kedrick and Arielle with a wide easy smile. "No, We're ready," Kedrick assured him, also glancing momentarily in Arielle's direction. "We're going to have the breaded shrimp basket." The young man nodded, looking down and scribbling on his pad. "Okay, I'll be back with your order in just a minute."

"That's good then," Arielle said in some bit of relief, "It's always good to make sure, no?"
When the waiter came back with their drinks, Arielle took her mug of hot chocolate and used the spoon to test how hot the drink was. Noticing that it wasn't that hot, she took a small sip, forgetting there was whipped cream, and ended up having some on her face. She wiped her face quickly and watched the waiter walk away after he took their order.
"So, what are we going to do after we eat?" Arielle asked Kedrick curiously as she looked up at him.

Kedrick thoughtfully leaned his chin against his hand. "No sure," He said honestly, sitting up a bit straighter. "I figured we go back to the estate, relax a bit, and then figure out what we'd do for dinner. It's not much of a plan but after such an exciting morning I figure we're going to need some unwind time..." He said, tracing a finger across the surface, He smiled as an idea come to him. "you know what might be fun sometime Arielle?" Kedrick asked, looking over at her. "We should get together and have lunch with Maria and Dimitri sometime. I was just thinking it'd be fun if they where here, but since it's a little late for that now we'd just have to settle for getting together sometime."

"Relaxing sounds like a good idea actually," Arielle said with a light yawn, "Maybe a nap would be good too." She added that with a small giggle. She tilted her head in curiosity when Kedrick asked her a question. She listened to his suggestion, thought about the possibilities.
"That sounds like a great idea," Arielle said with a light nod, "I'm sure that Maria would agree in a heart beat. But you think Dimitri would agree to it as quickly as Maria would. Especially after...well...yeah?" The one thing that Arielle didn't want a get together to be was just awkward, but she only hoped that was her just being paranoid.

Kedrick smiled at her as she yawning, thinking it terribly cute. "Well," It's easy enough to find out while we're waiting for our food." He said pulling out his cell phone and punching in Dimitri's number.
Dimitri was laying on the floor of his apartment, his legs propped up against his bed, eyes closed. Somewhere near his right ear, his cell phone buzzed. He smacked the ground blindly, searching for the phone. His hand smacked down on it and he lifted it to his ear. "Hello?" He asked, not even opening his eyes to look at the caller ID "Hey Dem, It's Kedrick." Came his friends fuzzy voice. With a grunt Dimitri pulled himself up. "Hey, how're you buddy?" He meandered over to the window, opening it up and leaning out a bit to get better service. "Doing good, Hey, Arielle and I got talk about getting together with Maria for lunch sometime, I figured I'd call you up about it." Dimitri leaned his elbows on the windowsill. "Lunch eh?" Sounds great. Let me know when you get details 'kay?" He said with a smile. "Right, Okay, talk to you later bud. I love you." Dimitri smirk. "Yeah. you too."
Kedrick hung up the phone, "It's a go." He said with a smile.

Arielle felt her cheeks warm lightly at Kedrick's smile. She honestly needed to stop doing that so much and get used to it. She looked down at her hot chocolate and continued drinking from it. While Kedrick was calling Dimitri and seeing if he was alright in joining them on a group lunch, Arielle sent a quick text message to Maria to see if she was okay with it as well.
When he was done talking to Dimitri, Arielle looked up and returned the smile. "That's great, Kedrick." Around that same time, Arielle's phone vibrated and she noticed that Maria had responded saying that she would love to and added a smiley face emoticon. "And Maria says yes too. When do you think we should have it?"
(I finally posted @.@. Sorry it took me awhile >~<. Was pretty busy last week @.@. Hope the post is alright >~<.)

Kedrick Suwa
((Sure it is, don't worry ^^ ))
Kedrick rested his chin on his knuckle, pondering this question thoughtfully. "Sometime this week maybe?" He asked lifting his head slightly to look at Arielle. "I don't know how weird this is going to sound to you but I miss Maria's energy." He said with a soft laugh. "She's like a ping-pong ball in a concentrated space." Kedrick paused a moment to take a sip of his coffee, savoring the rich, slightly bitter flavor. He looked down, staring into the dark liquid in his cup. "It's Saturday today......so....Monday maybe?...." He muttered half to himself.

Arielle giggled and shook her head lightly, "It doesn't sound weird at all. Besides, that's a usual response from people who aren't used to her. And her energy always helped me through the tough times." She didn't say anything else, taking a chance to look around the cafe before looking back at Kedrick when he muttered about Monday being a good day. "That sounds good to me, actually. And we can all come after school."
(It's okay. It happens to us all = w =.)

Kedrick nodded enthusiastically. "That'd work out great." He said, picking his chin up out of his elbow. "I'll call Dimitri later tonight to update him, let him know the time and.....place...." He said trailing off. The place hadn't been discussed. "Know any good restaurants in town?" He asked hopefully. "It wouldn't have to be fancy, or expensive, in fact, I'm sure Dimitri would prefer casual but-" He was cut off as their waiter approached the table, their meal in hand. "Here you go." He said, laying to on the table. "Is there anything else I can get you or will that be all tonight?" Kedrick pondered this a moment. "No, I think we should be okay, thanks anyways, it looks great." Kedrick added with a smile.

Arielle nodded, glad that their plans for a group dinner seemed to be working with no problems. She had to think about a good place in which they could all eat. She never went out to eat a lot with her grandparents, but she did know of a few good ones that she had gone to before, but she couldn't remember which one was her favorite.
She lost her thought when their waiter came with their food. The smell of the food made her stomach growl. The food made her remember just how hungry she was. "Thanks so much for the meal. I have to agree with him. It looks amazing."

Their waiter smiled modestly. "I hope you enjoy it." He said, ducking his head polity as he disappeared back into the restaurant's kitchen. Kedrick reached into the basket, picking u p a small pace of the breaded shrimp. "Bon appetit" He said with a smile, dipping the end of the shrimp in the cocktail sauce before popping it into his mouth. He chewed thoughtfully, just as an experament he tried picking out the different tastes of everything that had been included in the morsel of shrimp. He tasted to warm meat of the shrimp and the Italian seasoning that had been added to the breading. These tastes combined with that of the sharp, tomato-e taste of the cocktail sauce, made a nice combination. He shifted in his seat as he swallowed, blowing a stray piece of hair out of his eyes. "That's pretty good." He said with a smile. "Any idea's so far? About Monday I mean, I know there are some nice cafe's in town....and uhm...A Chinese restaurant....If we wanted to go with something different...."
