"Life in a new pack will be an experience, that's for sure..." A friendship without some sort of challenge was more like a luxury that Indra was just hoping to be lucky enough to have. In the forming of a new pack, there definitely would be some tension between the wolves because not all were so easy-going and pleased with following another's rules. He seemed relaxed for the moment, but Indra's thoughts were already very quickly travelling elsewhere. A pack had order, did it not? Then there were ranks that needed to be occupied, and jobs to be done. His gaze rested on Adragos for a moment, his tail swishing thoughtfully behind him.
They would need a Hunter, a Warrior, a Medic, and a Nurse. Someone would have to lead in these positions, and as Indra looked around he admittedly realized that he knew very little of the others around him. Who was good at what only applied to a very small number of wolves that Indra recognized. So who else then, might be applying for the spot of Beta Warrior? Indra's gut told him that Andragos and Faiyrn might fancy giving him the position just because they were friends, but the blue male wanted things to run fairly, like the Alpha Tournament. He would fight to prove himself worthy of a title, rather than just accept the crown with no complaints.
"What about you, Lithium? Are you looking for a rank, or just a place to belong?" Seeing as she had fought against Faiyrn for the Alpha position in Dawn-Fire, he wondered if she also might want a high ranking position in the Storm-Keepers. Regardless of what her answer was though, Indra hoped that Lithium would be happy either way.

Olek hopped off of Icarus' head and onto the grass-covered forest floor. His head twitched towards the side, a questioning gaze, in a bird-like manner. A few light chirps and he flapped his wings quickly to reach the top of Tiki's head. Careful steps carried him down towards her muzzle where he then perched. It was very rare for him to do this with any other wolf than Icarus, for a simple snap was all that was required for him to be eaten, but he trusted Tiki. "How've you been dear?" He warbled lightly, trying not to break too much of the respective silence that seemed to have consumed the packs.

Tiki smiled and attempted to cross her eyes to look at Olek as he perched on her muzzle, "Good I guess, how are you and Icarus?" She replied, using a softer voice, there did seem to be a sort of silence, like before a batle between two packs, even though she knew no one was fighting.

Kitsch sat besides Icarus as the others did, watching the wolves split into the new pack. It was eerie, watching these wolves leave and now the forest felt very still and very silent. Kitsch looked around... It seemed many wolves had gone with the new alphas only to leave a few behind. The DawnFire pack. Kitsch's lips tightened unsure of how divided packs could work together to defeat the darkness. Now in the forest... the brown wolf, Rebel, Tiki, Icarus, the brindled female and a few others, all sat. But what were they supposed to do now?
Kistch's stomach growled audibly and he looked up to Icarus in embarrassment. The truth was, however, that he hadn't eaten a meal in a whille. "I'm sorry, I don't think I ever learned your name?"

Rouqie sniffed the ground ahead of her. She had gone off after the Alpha Tournament, taking time off to think about her time and how far she had made it through the tournament. Of course her mind had drifted at times to the brown-gray adolescent that had caught her eye. It was time for her to return, she had been alone for so long and the lack of a pack was pressing on her.
A pounce. A tear. A snap. The huntress snarled in triumph. She had been glad for the title of Beta Hunter, but she had to prove herself to the pack to be recognized. She bowed her head towards the mess of blood and fur, praying for the soul of the stag she had just slain. The mass of the creature would be enough to supply the wolves of the pack, though they'd need more after. Rouqie grabbed the neck of the deer with her mouth and hoisted it upwards. A whiff of the air and she knew the basic direction she should head in. The cool scent of the river came at her from the East through the thick metallic stench of blood.
A strong huff of air burst through her nostrils as she headed towards what she hoped was the clearing, lugging her prize towards the pack she was now a part of.
Eventually the warm smell of Icarus caught her attention and she quickly latched her Tracker ability towards it. She quickened her pace, using her well-built muscles to carry the stag. At last, the last few feet of foliage lay between her and the other wolves. She realized the group had shrunk, many were missing. It was then she glimpsed the last few tails slink off into the forest. Rouqie realized that another pack must have been formed in her absence. Have I really been away that long...? Her eyes fell on the wolf she cared for in a motherly sense and grinned. The pale-blue eyes of the wolf she had raised since pup-hood caught her and she grinned.
Rouqie stepped into the clearing with pride. Releasing the stag, the body fell to the grass with a loud thump. "Hello everyone, I've returned. With food, of course." Lavender eyes peered at all of the wolves, and wondered when was the last meal that had been provided.

Faiyrn's tail wagged when Rouqie appeared. "Ro! You're back! And just in time, I think some of the pups are gonig to start wasting away." she commented with a soft smile. "And, well... the pack is downsizing a little... there's two groups now." she explained. "But you really are a sight for sore eyes." she said kindly.

MEGA TIMESKIP >.< INSERT BATTLE WITH DARKNESS HERE!!!! Marie emerged from the shadows of the trees, long and wavy fur bouncing with each step she took. The wind blew past her and her fur ruffled in the breeze. She came to a stop and gazed about with bright orange eyes, a small smile on her face as she looked at her packmates. She scanned the area and stepped towards a bright orange wolf. "Icarus?" she asked, long, curled tail waving behind her like a fan. She smiled at the male lowered herself respectively, leaning her muzzle up to lick his chin. "Don't suppose I could join you? I have come to realize, these past few weeks, that this is where I first stepped foot and this is where I'd like to stay." she explained, thrilled at the aspect of returning to the place she'd first found as a pup.
She had returned from the ordeal with the darkness unscathed. Before she had returned she had gone off by herself to recover from the shock of seeing the shadowy enemy face to face. Now she was older, wiser and much, much stronger than before. Her long and lanky limbs were quicker, nimble and graceful when she moved. She was certain now that this pack was where she should be, and soon she would ask Clio to hunt with her again, just to see how strong she actually had become with this growth. '
