Omega - Take these eight-legged sumbitches DOWN!
Christian always got a kick out of seeing Sophia using her abilities. Especially when she used them the way she did when she killed those spiders. He was always baffled by her and her hesitance to realize how useful her powers were, and always felt uncomfortable when she’d do the ‘kick rocks’ routine. He did notice that her eyes were fixed on him for a brief spell. Not what he intended, but he smiled anyways, taking note that she seemed to be giving him the once over.
Christian didn’t say a word to anyone after speaking briefly. It seemed that whatever animosity was there between Billy and Raine had subsided… for the most part. And whatever toxins the spiders carried were working their way through his system and his stomach was lurching this way and that. His attention was fixed on Sophie as he noticed there was a tiny trickle of blood running down her face… was that the result of her crashing her head against the headboards?
“Here,” he said to Sophia as he tossed her the already soiled shirt he held in his hand. “Clean yerself up, munchkin.” He could have echoed the sentiment of none of them being alright. That was a matter of perspective, he supposed. He knew he wasn’t by any stretch of the imagination; spider venom was something he wasn’t afraid of, but the combination was what was bothering him.
Even in that proximity of Raine discharging the electric currents did well to somewhat energize Christian. It was slight to say the least, but enough to at least pick him up somewhat after losing his breakfast and brunch. “Can’t think of anything other than squishin’ them, Sparkles,” Christian said, answering Raine’s question. “But I spose this’ll work.” As he said that, he discharge what minute energy he had absorbed from Raine, taking out a small group of spiders. However, the moment he did that, Christian felt a thousand more legs dancing up and down his own.
Now, he really wanted to over and done with this. Being hoarded by so many arachnids made him really re-think his position on spiders. It wasn’t that he hated the creatures, but in this amount, this number… this many in his freaking shorts!
In place, Christian began dancing around, trying to shake the little buggers from his shorts. There were too many of them! Just as soon as he was done shaking the things from his pants, he started to swipe and brush off the ones that were crawling up his torso and arms. That was when he felt a bit where there shouldn’t be one. At all.
He felt his nausea spike up again, but held it in. He didn’t want to gross out the ladies in front of him in the slightest. Christian was concerned however with the blood coming from Sophie’s head, feelings and whatever it was that was coursing through his system notwithstanding.
“Ladies. Gentlemen…,” Christian said to Raine, Sophia and Billy, fighting through the funk his body and mind were feeling. “I’m thinkin’ the only way to do this is either run like sissies or fight head-on…” His face felt sunken in a bit and he could feel a slight bit of fatigue wracking his body and mind, but he never felt more sure about anything. Ever.

Omega: Kitchen - It's just like playing dodgeball... With the Sun. The name Aren called her… She wasn’t sure what it meant. His tone hadn’t sounded…Offensive, when it was spoken. So she chose for the moment to take it as a pet name… Aapinákosi. Nevertheless her grip never wavered on the soft neck of the interloper. Narcissa felt…Fiercely protective of her new Omega. He amused her, if nothing else… And he was right. He would look good in leather. Narcissa stared at the girl, cold eyes calculating… If this little girl really was Mystique in disguise, she would have her head roasted on a silver platter. Unbelieving of her lie about…Subconsciously taking the forms of others, she still held her grip. And then somehow, as if gifted by winged shoes—Or bloody ******** Jesus the girl twisted out of her grasp. The blast that left her hand tore straight through the wall like a knife through butter—Burning clear through to incinerate a decent sized hole into the grass. It smoldered as she whirled around, blonde hair turning completely white—A halo about her head. There hadn’t been any indecision at all on her face—Any thought, or emotion when Gideon’s voice came through the comm. So she wasn’t sure what made the girl decide to take a chance… It was also strange that the girl was somehow more skilled than she was. Narcissa had trained for years under the Institutes insistence… It made her wonder what kind of life this girl had lead. Jacen reacted almost as quickly as she did... That filled her with pride. He was right... It was... Strange, that some 'stranger' would come and... Deliberately try and get herself killed. Maybe she had a death wish... It was entertain that she offered death and wanted her name at the same time... Funny, that was. Yet it wasn’t the little shape shifters smart a** remarks that caused the calm damn to break within her as light and heat cycled through Narcissa at an accelerated rate, burning the KILLJOY out of her for the moment as her anger rose—It was the gun Blair held pointed at Aren. It was that she hurt him, kicked him—Pulled his hair. He was new… He was new, just a baby, in her eyes—As far as field experience went. And he was hers. There was nothing cool about Narcissa except her seemingly hollow white gaze—Heat now palpable coming from her. There was no hiding that… Like a growing inferno in the middle of the room. The linoleum started to blacken and peel away from her, spiders seeming to whistle and scream as those closest to her…Boiled inside their exoskeletons. Oxygen in the room thinning. The others in the room would feel it as if they were standing just slightly to close to a radiator... Uncomfortable, but not lethal. There was no madness about her…Only coldness… “If you’re going to shoot—You had better shoot me first. And pray you’re a good shot…Because I won’t just kill you, Sweetie.”, the sun goddess mocked as she snapped at the girl—Watching as she shifted out of Shandra’s form. That was good. It made it easier. If a body was going to be found—She would rather that whatever was left of it didn’t look like Shandra. Narcissa might have believed that she was there to help…But not now. Not with the gun. “You can’t imagine… How long one can stay alive, so long as the wounds are cauterized...”Having recently spent quite a few weeks being tortured… She had a good, great idea, of how that worked. How to make someone wish they were dead. “It’s also just fine if threats don’t bode well with you— Think of it as sweet nothings…Promises, dear. Let me make it clear… You’re in my house. If you hurt him… Any of them.”, she didn’t look up, adding her words as yet another Omega recruit—She gleaned from his Slovenian accent, walked in. Already, including him as one of her own…Emma would be… Oh so glad she’d paid a little bit of attention on the plane ride over… And that she remembered tidbits about Aren and this new kid from the school. Her voice grew soft, almost gentle... Pitying. Narcissa bent for no one... Not by threat, or bribe...No one. “There is no where you’ll be able to hide from me, little b***h.”She smiled at Aren then, the expression... Disturbing with her white eyes. Her free hand made an imperceptibly small motion... And she waited mere seconds, appearing to wait for Blair to let Aren go ... When a blast left her hand—Bright as the others, screaming through the air. She'd never lowered her hand down in the first place— And it was aimed directly at the gun, and more importantly—Her pretty face, just behind Aren's head.

Alpha: On the Porch - Creating a Jungle is hard in sand... She wasn’t sure what to do with herself… Other than to let her rose vines and roots attacking the spiders to the talking for her. They twisted and slammed them into liquid guts and carnage… Causing Sophia to avert her eyes as her stomach lurched. She really didn’t want to be here anymore… The condo porch shook as a tree bent and snapped its branches hard against the side of the building, mowing down any spiders trying to scale it. Things moved and happened, plants popping up from the ground of their own accord, the ground shaking from roots ripping free from the earth—Feeling Sophia’s abject horror. They reacted, trying to protect her. The floramancer didn’t like to use her plants this way… They weren’t angry and violent by nature… She was making them this way. It was wrong. Sofie held to the porch railing—Only ever looking up when Christian offered her his shirt. She was truly shell shocked… Or perhaps she’d done same damage whacking her noggin against the headboard of her bed. She glanced at him, grey eyes again lingering… It was harder to look away than it usually was, harder to keep her eyes on the ground, or on anything else. She caught the rather destroyed item and dabbed at the trickle of warmth on her face… The sight of the redness was… Disturbing to her. She wasn’t sure why. She wiped her bloody tear stained face off as best she could, and set the shirt over the railing… There really was no saving it. She debated how well tide would work on blood and spider guts… Not so well, she surmised. Her vision swam a little—And the plants seemed to freeze, before getting angrier, slashing and snapping at spiders with renewed vigor. They were angry, borrowing energy on her behalf to do their spider smash work… It was slowly draining her, so many plants and old roots active at the same time. She held still to the pillar on the porch, a small vine curling around a spider that came towards her—Throwing it away from her as it reached down to curl around her wrist gently… ‘They’ll eat us…’, she thought miserably to the gentle vine…And it wrapped further up her arm, stretching across her shoulders under her hair. The more upset she seemed, the more it twined around her, trying to comfort her. It couldn’t reply, as plants normally did… Her energy was stretched far to thin as it was. Every plant in the area was suddenly health, huge, and pissed off. It brushed against her cheek and some of her fear seemed to subside. Her plants kept most of the spiders at bay. She could do this, for a time. “We can’t go…”, her small voice rose among the sounds of the dying spiders, that simply wouldn’t stop coming… Her accent was heavy, her eyes actually drawing closed as she rest softly against the pillar. For now, the porch was one of the more safer area’s to be in. “They’ll follow us…Ah know they will...”
Her eyes opened and she saw a boy walk right past them then, and knock on the door. He was familiar… Maybe a year or so behind them at the Academy? She wasn’t sure… What was his name? “Homme--Dimitri!”, she called, the name suddenly appearing in her fogged head… Her voice went back to meek after that, though she was concerned… All of the spiders inside had easily overwhelmed then. At least in an open area they could run. “A-Ah wouldn’t go in there, m’sieu—It’s worse in there, then it is out here.”She looked at Christian, and then Raine for assistance-- Even Billy... Keeping all of her plants moving took too much out of her-- With the headache that was moving right on in. She just wanted to sleep... But she couldn't... Not yet.

Alpha - You did say you liked things with a bite Eli listened intently to her stories. It seemed so surreal. Sure, he himself was a mutant. But with his past and how he lived it, he didn't have much contact with anyone to be honest.
Eli's nervousness grew ten fold when she mentioned her getting vibes from him. So, the best plan of action was to ignore that statement. "Uh, uhm, well. When I was nine, my powers emerged. I was stressed out for testing, to the point where my powers manifested. I released several bursts of EMPs. Remember the black out that cleared the power of most of North Eastern America? Yeah... my bad. I don't remember anything after that. But I got these that day according to my sister." He said pulling up his shirt. Four scars from bullets, two were under his right pectoral muscle, another mid sternum and the last one just below his heart. "I was in a coma for five years, finally waking up, my sister told me everything that happened that night. My mother had gotten in the way of my father and me, he wasn't hesitant on pulling the trigger. Apparently my mom had told my dad that if he was gonna shoot me for being a mutant, shoot her too. She was a home care nurse, you know, for the people who are almost dead and stay at home with the loved ones in their final moments?" Eli asked. It made him down somewhat, thinking about this. Talking about it. He hadn't been so in depth about it. And he hadn't shown anyone other than his sister the scars before.
"But, after he shot my mom multiple times. He walked over to my unconscious body and shot me four times and left. My sister called 911 immediately after." Eli took a deep breath, it was hard talking about it all. His eyes were somewhat watery. But on the bright side, his nervous feelings were suppressed.
I spent two more years in the hospital, physical therapy and what not, regaining my physical skills. I read a lot of science books there. I caught up 5 years of school in two years. That's how much free time I had. I also relearned my powers there. I was practicing them at night when no one was around. Heh, one day the nurse walked in on me. She was a mutant too. I was relieved I wasn't the only one with powers. She told me to come to the Academy. And well, I've been here ever since I was sixteen. I promised my sister, when either A. She's 18. or B. I have a stable enough income. I'll get her out of the foster homes and she can come live with me." Finally his story was done and he blew all the air out of his lungs and let his body sink. He wasn't sure how Evelyn would react to a suddenly sinking Eli. But, when he reached the bottom, he'd push and swim his way back to the top.

Alpha: Scars
She pursed her lips together and just listened to his story while floating on her back. A lot could be tell by the inflections behind somebody's voice. Her ears picked up a lot. She could hear the nerves in his voice... and his story made her understand a bit more. She had a mind for deduction, reasoning and tactics. He had been so far removed from social life for years that no wonder being around a girl made him uneasy. Evie laughed mentally knowing that she wasn't exactly the girl to make people feel at ease since she was the girl nobody knew how to take. But she loved everybody around her. If she didn't, they wouldn't be around her.
His story tugged at her heart strings, though. Everybody's stories did. There were very few at the Academy that didn't have a story of tragedy on some level. She just watched him go under not really worried that he wouldn't surface again. If he didn't, she'd go get him and wouldn't argue with a little CPR. When Eli surfaced, she said somewhat gently as her drug-induced hyperness was starting to fade more, "I think being a mutant marks us all for tragedy."
"Thanks for sharing, darling," She reached out and put an arm around him to hug him and pecked him on the cheek, "I know it's not always easy to tell our past stories here. You will learn too, that we are all family on this team even if we don't always get along so we're here when you need it and we always listen."
"If you haven't found already, you are at home with your scars. We all wear them in some form either visibly or emotionally. Mine always heal outward. Working on the rest.... My family is essentially gone to me as well. My mother worked on Genosha and was killed doing her job as a paramedic during the attack. My step-mother was an anti-mutant b***h who poisoned my father with a drug that countered his healing.... of course, that was after he disowned me for being a mutant at her behest. My half-sisters I'm not allowed to see and I pray everyday to whatever god is out there they don't end up being mutants because of that woman. And me... I'm just doing the only thing I know how to do: being an X-Man and being a teacher to the students who come through the doors of that school looking for some type of salvation."

Take Away the Spiders and This Would Be An Awesome Moment
It was both alien and familiar somehow. The feeling of death. Things flashing before his eyes, voices, the sound of a world you leave behind. What pissed Jack off was there was none of that white light crap people usually talked about. What was up with that? Then it came in an abrupt wave, pain... His chest, shoulders, just about everywhere. His eyes he guessed opened for a flash of red as he heaved and convulsed, expelling fluid from his mouth before he felt the pain of the back of his head come back down. Chest still heaving, still coughing. The redhead who he quickly remembered being Kerrigan was over him but it took awhile for his near death addled brain to comprehend. despite what she might be saying as he hazed there for a moment he gave a weak a smile, " I'm in too much pain to be dead, and your still wearing cloths, so this ain't a dream.... Pain and access denied.... am I in hell?".He only coughed up instead of laughed.
It didn't take long for the clicks and small pitter patter of spiders crawling to get his attention he rolled to one side with a groan and looked at where it was coming from. Geez, was dying about six times just not enough for them today? The wave of crawling creatures was converging again. Back on his back and staring at the redhead who saved him his hearing and comprehension decided to come back all at once like a slap in the face. It ruined his ogling of the the redhead's wet look. " alrigh alrigh! I'm up and alive Scarlet, thanks for that. give a guy just a min to rejoin the world..." He groaned as he heaved himself up with her spurring and minor help. She switched to more stern tones as she urged him to get up actually sounding like a sergeant telling her soldier to move. When he was on his feet he followed her. He was sore all over, but found the will to move.
" Next time, town, ice cream, condo, whatever. Let it be spider free. For the record, I enjoy the mouth to mouth when I'm conscious and well. Let's do alot of that after this.", obviously death, and still imminent death, where not enough to dissuade the giant from making light of the grim situation. He was following the red head along the shore towards the slightly far off condo, somehow less spiders as they moved half in and out of the surf. His balance was not what it should be so he stumbled now and again, but kept moving, not really needing the redhead to urge him. She had his hand and he was sure it looked as silly as it looked like they were making out, in the surf, in some cliche fashion at some point in time.

Alpha - Catalina - Satanic Tickling Kind of Sucks… " Damnit Christian, STOP calling me sparkles," she screamed at him, lashing out in anger as she felt spiders start working their way up her legs once more. Some even got under her jeans, the brunette's hazel eyes going wide as they made their way up, her whole body convulsing slightly. It felt like someone was tickling her, and she hated being tickled. Scientifically speaking, people reacted so strongly to tickling because it elicited the same panic response as having spiders crawling over your skin. Go figure. She wasn't sure if it was the actual feeling of them against her skin, or the thought of spiders actually touching her, but either way, she let out another scream, dancing around in a circle before she suddenly discharged a significant amount of electricity all at once. It looked like a lightning bolt engulfed her form for a moment, though it was really her body covered in bright electricity, the light dissipating to reveal charred spiders in her immediate area. She kept making noises like she was crying, though her face was more caked with sweat than anything. The feeling of fangs puncturing her skin caused the girl to scream once more, a rather loud profanity, shaking a jumping spider from her hand. Christian began to dance around once more as Raine took note of Sophia attempts to keep the spiders at bay with her plants. This was one of those situations where she felt like they were all doing everything right -- numbers were just not on their side. And the more spiders they seemed to kill the more spiders seemed to make their way into the area. How could they be killing so many and not even make a dent? There was something not right about this whole situation, though her thoughts were so consumed with keeping them off her, and now the fact that she had been bitten and was in pain, that any questions about their situation were quickly replaced with more immediate concerns. Christian mentioned that they had two options -- to sit here and fight or run and try to find a less spider-infested area. Neither of those options really seemed to work out too well in her head, Sophia's voice echoing her thoughts -- no matter where they went, these spiders were going to follow them. Her eyes followed the new guy as he walked past them, knocking on the door. Her face turned to one of confusion as she zapped more spiders around her area with a burst of electricity from her body. Her reserves were starting to run low, which meant that she needed to be pickier with when she discharged and for how long. The last thing she needed was to run out of juice. It took Sophia saying the kid's name for Raine to recognize him, the girl nodding when her roomy told him not go to inside. She saw her friend beginning to tire, the plants no doubt taking a toll on her that couldn't be sustained for long. They had to think of something to do and quickly. Her eyes turned to Dimitri, hands fidgeting with her curls as she pushed them back from her face, a spider falling out and onto the ground. Her hand still hurt, the bite pulsing slightly as she tried to avoid thinking about it. " If you've got any new ideas, we'd love to hear 'em, Dimitri!," she said in a slightly sarcastic tone, releasing another loud curse as she felt fangs come down on top of her foot. Jumping up and down, she swatted the spider off immediately, the thought of more spider venom coursing through her veins enough to make her want to puke now. " Where the hell is Emma, anyways? She could take care of all of these things at once. Or at least get us some transportation home like, right now," she whined. Bringing her foot down sharply on top of one larger spider, she gagged at the guts that spewed onto her foot and the hem of her pants, one hand moving in front of her mouth to keep the waffles in. God, why had she thought waffles would be a good idea on a morning like this? It was terrible…

All Good Things Must End She took back her previous irritation with not being able to kill things, and walked through the chaos of the little X-Freaks stomping around at nothing. They couldn’t see her, couldn’t touch her, couldn’t smell her—For all they knew, she wasn’t there at all. Her illusions were powerful enough to manipulate the viewer down to the smallest degree… And she’d rocked their world without breaking a sweat. Ah, such was the joy of being better, more powerful than they were. Not to mention they were all drugged up with KILLJOY. Thank god she'd been given the vaccine... But those were minor details. Drugged or not-- She was still the predator in this situation. They were meaningless... Just annoying little fly's on the wall. Just a means to an end. Pulling back from the main area when she heard gunshots, just as a blast of light came screaming out of the side of the house—It narrowly missed her. She glowered. Talk about a high risk job. Stupid brats.
But the important part was that she had the footage that she needed for her employer…Showing the little X-brats tramping around, using their powers offensively, on each other, destroying property… It all just laid credence that the ‘Xavier School for the Gifted’ was really a vigilante training base to turn mutant children into warriors. What mother wouldn’t be afraid of these children, near adults, living in society with their precious little angels? The boss would be pleased. She pressed her comm and waited for Sebastian Shaw to respond… He was probably in stitches from watching the live feed. The chaperons had been…Ahem, busy, every since the KILLJOY had started to take effect. It made her job a lot easier to have Emma Frost and Scott Summers… Indisposed of. In fact, she hadn’t seen the Summers boy, or his tramp leave the guest house since taking breakfast inside. It was fitting, somehow. She drew her illusion back, and Lady Mastermind cracked a surreptitious grin… The spiders, their effects, and remains disappeared. Any wounds or bites any of students suffered were gone… They might remember phantom pain, because the brain held her illusions to be true—Real. Even though they were really nothing more than ghosts… No one would have seen them, not even on the recordings... Except the students. The spiders, for all intents and purposes had never existed in the first place… The little wretches had just been attacking air. ‘You called, Reagan?’, came the stuffy male voice several moments later. “Is that enough?”, she questioned, still walking away from the abused condo, blond hair glinting in the light. There was silence on the other end… A crackle, and then she heard… ‘Pull out. It’s… Such good press, I doubt we’ll need any more. Radiation, self propelled bullets, healing of gory wounds, gunshots, inappropriateness, fighting… They look… Positively insane. Mastermind will remain to keep them from infecting the town… But when it wears off… Well, he’ll know... Your payment will appear in your accounts.’“As you wish.”, Lady Mastermind replied, happy to get out of there… It was a lot of money for such a seemingly easy job. She wondered absently what the catch was…But honestly, could only see the dollar signs.

இ คჩεn இ ტრεჟค Tut tut... of course, even in the twenty-first century... the natives are oppressed.▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ Aren had decided that he liked Jacen. Despite the awful pests that poured into the house like milk on cereal, the man seemed to find some enjoyment with the entire situation. It was a good attitude to live by, and the size shifter thought that the personality trait was amiable to say the least. They continued to squash spiders during the middle of the showdown, because standing in awe of the cat fight wouldn't save them from the little beasts sinking their fangs into their flesh.
The next events took course in sudden succession; and he barely registered the fact that Blair had somehow weaseled her way out of what had looked like a rather firm choke hold.
The chick that had tried to pose as Shandra yanked on his hair and pressed the barrel of her gun into his skin. She kicked his knees in a whirlwind of movements. For a moment, he'd let her have the satisfaction of thinking she had him. But she'd already done enough to pour fire into his mood. Her warnings sounded a bit shrill, reminding him of his grandmother's tone when he'd screwed up. Chocolate eyes rolled towards the ceiling when she said she didn't respond well to threats. "Oh... and you think that pointing a gun in the face of one of the team members is so different." The native american grumbled, jaw clenched in irritation.
She had to come in here, in the midst of all the other chaos that was going on, and insisted upon piling more problems onto the junior teams. An audible huff escaped parted lips when she asked his name. "Like you care. Forgive me... but those sorts of formalities are lost on me. After all... I'm just a savage from the woods... and you seem to be the typical pale face, shoving your silver weapons into us, pushing us around... He trailed off for a few moments, playing the oppressed indian card well. "Typical." Aren said, clicking his tongue against his teeth as he made a disdainful shake of his head. " I should have known... stepping off the land you so gracefully placed us on would only lead to trouble. But babe... I'm not a Cherokee, and I don't like to be left crying because you decide that you want to prove yourself a big girl."
With that, he shrank from her grasp, sizing himself down to hover about four feet and a few inches of change. Then, he did what any other midget would do in a rush of a plight; he kicked her shins with the side of his foot.
"That's what you get." He said, his voice slightly sounding as though he'd been sucking on some helium from a balloon.
Narcissa didn't seem at all pleased with the girl's stupid reactions, her body heating up the room to feel like they were baking alive. One thing was for sure; the spiders certainly didn't like the change in temperature.
She had a few remarks to make of her own to make to the akii. Threats of her own, and he couldn't help but grin stupidly when he felt that a lot of her warning came from the náápiakii threatening him. So the blondie thought him endearing enough to stick up for. Nice to know.
But as she spoke, he really, really thought she was well suited for leather. Maybe they could switch off.
The blast came then, and the heat of her attack was more than uncomfortable. He only hoped his hair wouldn't fry from the sheer rise in the temperature.
"Thanks, ki'sómma." He said, using the word sun for Cissa as well. It fit perfectly. He had a whole slew of words for her.
He took his normal size, a happy five feet nine inches, and turned to look at the damage that Aapinákosi had caused. He fought the urge to appear childish, to stick his tongue out as if to say, "ha!" to the little woman who thought so highly of herself.
Jacen had been entirely correct with his tight smile painting his expression into a grim visage: the girl had chosen the wrong people to ******** with.
The guy who had just walked in had waywardly announced that he hadn't expected such a grand scheme to fall into with the promotion to the junior teams. Aren grinned at his humor; now he'd not be the only one cracking jokes.

Omega: Catalina - Hey, where'd they go? Jack coughed up the water in his lungs, giving Kerri a nice splash in the face that brought a momentary look of disgust to her features. Still, it didn't deter her from moving forwards once more, lifting his head slightly to keep the water from going right back down. She perched over him, muttering words of encouragement to get up without pushing him. He finally spoke, the redhead visibly relaxing slightly, shaking her head at him as he mentioned that she still had too many clothes on for him to be dead. There was just no pleasing him. The sounds of the spiders drawing ever closer was enough to suck her back into reality, Jack rolling over onto his side. The redhead placed a hand on him for support before throwing her fist into his bicep in a quick punch. " That's for being an a*****e and tackling me off a cliff, then almost drowning and spitting disgusting water in my face," she said quickly, though the grin on her lips as he flopped back onto his back showed that she was far from actually upset about it. She knew that the punch might hurt a little bit, but not enough to actually do any harm. In anything, she could call it a "love tap." Or at least an "I really like you tap." Crap, was it love? God damn it all to Hell, these spiders need to go away so she could figure these things out! The spiders were getting closer, and while she was sure that he needed a rest, the redhead just couldn't let him lay there fore much longer. There was no way she could take on the spiders by herself. Their only option was to run and hope that they were faster then the arachnids thirsting for their liquified flesh. " Sorry, but come on Lurch, we gotta get movin'," she said with a grunt, working around him as she tried to help him to his feet. It was quite a task considering how much larger he was than her, but with his help she was able to get him standing. The p***k of fangs sinking into the back of her thigh caused her to cry out, kicking her leg out to be rid of the eight-legged nuisance. Her tone turned more stern, her focus now only on getting away from the spiders, from the danger. " Move," she said with a slight push, taking his hand in her own to lead him in the direction she wanted to go. It was a blessing that he found the will to move on his own so she didn't have to drag him along behind her, but it was still slower than she would have liked. Her whole leg was throbbing with pain as they ran, though the adrenaline coursing through her system was enough to keep her moving for now. His words brought a smile through her focused expression, the redhead glancing back over her shoulder as she lead them close to the surf, hoping that the water would deter the spiders from following them too closely. " Lurch, if we get through this in one piece, I'll give you all the mouth to mouth you want. Keep moving." Almost as soon as the words left her mouth, the sound of the spiders following them faded, the redhead stopping in the sand and turning to see that they were being followed by…air. Nothing but air. Looking around with a confused expression, she ran her hand back through her dripping hair, glancing at the back of her thigh to see that the wound was gone -- even the pain was starting to subside. Her green eyes turned to Jack silently searching to make sure that he was seeing, or not seeing, the same thing that she was. At the same time she was already finding herself caring less and less about what had just happened, her attention to Jack only reminding her how good he looked wet and shirtless. The confusion on her face started to fade the longer they stood there, the redhead shaking her head as if shaking off a bad thought; a bad memory.

Catching upFor Forellen the arrival of the arachnid invasion was met by a strange emotion. What was it now that she was feeling right now? Forellen focused on that strange new feeling as Maddy pulled her in and shoved her inside. Hey! They hadn’t finished her nails yet. A frown tugged at the unresponsive Forellen’s mouth as she stood inside. Hey! She knew what she was feeling now! Apathy! Forellen concluded that she simply didn’t care...about the spiders, about Maddy’s nails, about life in general for once in her life Forellen could safely say she couldn’t care less because truth be told she couldn’t. Forellen watched almost without a care as Narcissa had Shandra pinned to a wall ready to reduce the other woman to cinders and part of her was screaming that this wasn’t right and Forellen simply couldn’t make herself care enough about it to intervene. Even the possibility that someone was impersonating Shandra didn’t roust her interest or curiosity more than a level of ‘meh’. Forellen had been so apathetic about the situation that she finally registered the fact that she had been bitten...at least twice. With a frown on her face she looked down at her leg and didn’t see the cause of the pain in her leg she was feeling. She did however see the nice red welt the spider’s bit had left on the pale skin of her inner leg. ”Ow...I wonder when that happened?” She said almost ignoring the chaos of the invasion and the massive amount of tension in the kitchen with Narcissa and all that. She turned her gaze to that and then to Maddy. ”I think we walked in late to this.” She said still frowning at them. She then shrugged. ”I’m kind of tired really. I might find a place not infested...” she broke off her speech to sweep a small spider off her shoulder and onto the floor where she immediately stepped on it. ”As I was saying...Maddy...hun...you have one on your shoulder...” She said her train of thoughts derailed as she spotted an small rather ugly looking spider that was on Maddy’s left shoulder making its way for her neck. Then it was all over and suddenly the spiders had been gone. Forellen’s interest was still positively minimum and she mopped her face with a weary hand. ”Is that all? I’m going to go and take a nap or something.” She announced in an almost disinterested tone of voice before turning and sweeping from the room and heading up for her room. Maybe later she’d care...but not right now.

"Spiders and drugs that enhances emotions..and its not even my BIRTHDAY?!?" "Hey there im the new alpha member Dimitri."
"Sup babe, im the new alpha member..wanna be my omega?"
"Dimitri Otengam at your service."
While the playboy was at the door waiting for it to be answered, he went through a list of introductions in his head to pass the time. All from sincere introductions to introductions restricted to females. As he was doing so, he noticed that he was standing at the door not too long, but longer than normal. Maybe they didn't hear him; perhaps they were all outback at the pool talking and having a good time.
There had better be a pool
He gave the door five more knocks before he looked towards the ceiling and back down to the floor, fitting the profile of being in an awkward moment. When he looked down though, that was when things suddenly began to take a wild turn.
Two spiders the size of an infant's hand was seen climbing towards Dimitri's luggage in an attempt to reach the surface of the playboy's body as if were some sort of mountain; a muscular mountain that is.
Dimitri flinched, like any other person would after seeing a spider the size of a hand and began to shake his roll-on breifcase like a maraca at taco tuesday. That was more than enough effort to cause the spiders to fall on the ground but continue their assault just before they met the sole of Dimitri's tennis shoes.
*crunch*
*crunch*
The sound certain insects made never was a sound Dimitri preferred. Why couldn't they just be like ants and die without noise to society?
"Bigger than average spiders on the vacation spot...great, because i love getting filled up with poision...soothes the muscles." Dimitri said to himself sarcastically.
Hopefully those were the last spiders that the playboy would encounter; if so than it was not enough to make this trip miserable for him. He knew female friends as well as guy friends that would already be looking for some sort of transportation out of here by the time the spiders were squished.
That was when a new face showed up right behind Dimitri, giving him a one second kind of glance telling him that the door isn't locked and went in casually.
"I knew that." Dimitri replied quickly, an attempt to not make him look like a doofus standing there with an unlocked door.
But Dimitri was just being polite; add that to him being the new guy, he wasn't so sure if that kind of entrance would put him on the good list with everybody. Not that he cared but he just didn't want to be rude. The playboy would have to remind himself to lock his doors when having a girl over if he was on the Alpha team, or part of the X-men in general.
Dimitri soon began to follow him when he heard someone yell out his name. He looked behind him and it was a small petite woman who was fighting off more spiders with..plants? If the people here had to resort to using their powers, then something had to be up. She told him that outside with the spiders was paradise compared to what was going inside. All the playboy had to do to be convinced was to open up the door just a little bit to see someone being held at gunpoint as a meat sheild, profanity and a projectile that looked like it would cook anything near it.
"Right, i was always an outdoor person anyway."
And that was the last "normal" sentence tha Dimitri would say. Oblivious to him, the atmosphere was poisoned with some sort of drug that twisted, altered and sent people's emotions for joyrides with an enormous craving for food. It had affected the entire team and it soon found a host in Dimitri when the girl came into contact. He always had a thing for the ladies, liked to have fun and stay positive but they were going to be enhanced and flipped around like a model after plastic surgery.
"Baby i'll go anywhere you WANT to take me...anywhere!" he told the girl, giving her a wink and making his pectoral muscles bounce one by one.
Then another girl called his name, but unlike Sophia, decided to be sarcastic, asking him if he had any new ideas on fixing their spider problem. Looking at her up and down he already had an idea both of them perhaps would be interested in.
"Oh heavenly blessed beauty, of course i have an idea. How about you two ladies and myself strip down and huddle up together to preserve the heat. You guys look like friends but forget it we're going do something different tonight."

Molly had wandered off the beach with her cat when the spiders swarmed the condo and surrounding area. She had wandered out far enough that she wasn’t in the immediate vicinity of the spider invasion when it began. She sighed sitting on a rock pile in the shade dozing with her cat. The cat was in no hurry to go anywhere as she was getting a belly rub at the moment and when Molly finally got up she gave her new owner a disgruntled look before Molly scooped her up and started back to the condo. About half way there the car sensing something amiss squirmed out of her arms and darted off into the brush. ”HEY!” She protested trying to give chase but to no avail she lost the cat in the brush and low bushes. Molly searched for a good five minutes before sniffing. The cat appeared to be long gone now and that sort of tore at Molly making her sniff.
With no luck in her search Molly began to trudge her way back to the condo jamming her hands in her pockets as she went. She didn’t notice anything out of place until she arrived at the condo and started up towards the front door. She said starting to look around her and now noticed that they were almost everywhere. Molly was not afraid of spiders but this situation was scaring her a lot. She yelped and kicked her leg out to knock one off that had started crawling up it. Then almost as soon as she knocked the spider off her leg she blinked and they were gone. Scratching her head she frowned. ”What...the...heck?” She asked looking around at the now empty yard scratching her head again. It wasn’t long before she felt a snag on her leg and she looked down to see her cat looking up at her. ”Oh there you are.” Still suspicious of the situation she scooped up the cat and went inside.
Letting herself in she paused with a frown. No spiders even though they had been everywhere outside. One would assume that they would be indoors as well. Still frowning she listened and heard relative silence as there must have been other people still standing around wondering what happened as well. "Hello?" She called feeling a little clique about it. Quiet room...why are people compelled to call hello in them?

Omega: Spiders everywhere... Poof!Billy didn't really know how to help the vomitting boy Christian, but he had wished there was more he could do. He admired what he did for his friend Sophia, giving her the shirt off his back and risking more spider bites. Billy glanced over the boy dancing up and down as more crawlies attacked. But he quickly turned away notcing the florakinetic sweetheart was looking rather weak and weary from all the plant bending she was dishing out. Spiders went snap crackle and pop all over the place. Billy thought that was an awesome power to have. He loved nature and being outdoors. It was much more peaceful outside than being inside a cramped up house with bickering parents and even more fussy relatives. Christian proposed two options: run or fight. Billy was more keen on running then fighting. He did some study about spiders and would much prefer not to die by being bollo webbed and spun up to be slowly eaten alive. But these were his new classmates, his new comrads. He could not, and would not leave them now. He was much better than that. Billy saw a kid come up to the condo. Why wasn't he concerned about the spiders? Or even us for that matter? Sophia and Christian clearly needed help, and there wasn't much Raine or himself could do. Sophia called out to warn her friend Dimitri, but no use. He saw Sophia grow tired as if she were about to collapse on the spot. Running over to her, he picked her up by her side to keep her from harming herself. "Hey... maybe you should tone it down a notch. You don't look too good yourself, and I don't mean that rudely, cuz you're pretty and all, but you look like you need to hit the bench if ya know what I mean." Billy said to Sophia. With Sophia in his right arm, Raine was left as their only offense. It didn't seem like a bad idea. She was clearly electrokinetic and was a human bug zapper. She could fry all these puppies up good and that'd be the end of it. But she was probably suffering from the same effects of the spider venom as Christian. Perhaps waffles don't mix too well with spider venom. Billy didn't think so. She seemed pissed at this point. Spiders in her hair, no one to rescue us, and being called Sparkles which Billy found very funny despite the importance of their situation. "Hey you guys, maybe we should just rally the troops and get outta here. There are too many spiders and not enough of us," he suggested. He really didn't want to lose this fight, but it was really not going so well for team x-men. But just then the spiders were gone. Disappeared. Vanished. Billy didn't really know what to say or make of the situation now. "Either I spoke too soon or that was some awesome spider a** kicking!"
