Minato shrugged. "No reason, that's just how the dark hour is, same thing with the blood. The shadows don't actually kill people in the Midnight Hour, they eat your soul. Though they can still kill if they want..."

Minato nodded. "People who can't use persona when they get here and fall to the shadows have their souls eaten, no bodily harm, when the Dark Hour is over, they are devoid of all emotions, and usually, the ability to speak properly. We call them The Lost."
Kai frowned. "Even when they don't kill, the shadows harm humans."

Minato gritted his teeth.
Seta looked at Minato then explained. "He was the leader of Minato's group, but his true motives were to resurrect the Death arcana and destroy the world, he killed Minato's teammate's father, and indirectly killed a member of his team."

"Yeah, it does." Minato sighed. "Anyways, we're splitting up here. I'm taking you and Kai, Seta's taking the other three."
Seta, Ringo, Kana, and Teddie said their goodbyes and headed off in one direction.
Minato turned to Kai and Devon. "Be prepared in case a shadow attacks us."

"The others aren't strong enough to look in Tartarus yet. We need to have more people who know how to get through it before we let your group go by yourselves. So until the next victim, me and Seta will take you two through it a bit." Minato started off to a huge building in the distance.
