User Image Kazin was now even more surprised. He had only maybe briefly heard about summoning jutsu, but it always required a scroll and blood. Kazin was completely bewildered that that was such a thing as a summoning jutsu that didn't require such. Maybe it was a lesser form, therefore it was like the way it was, but he didn't really know anything about it. Kazin pondered for a few seconds. He realized how useful this could be in a handful of situations. The absence of blood would keep hungry animals from drawing close, and the lack of a scroll could warrant another empty pocket for something more important. These were just remedial things, but nonetheless still important to think about.

"I'm just a little amazed that's all. I've just been thinking about it, and couldn't really put my finger on it. I would imagine that that could be extremely useful in tight situations, and also just a good idea to have access to such abilities." Kazin replied

I'm a ******** If ya have the Guts, you might learn it, there are 2 thing's I'm going to train you, but you need to pass a test first, and no; this hike isn't the test" He said as he continued walking. "Things will get much harder then this walk through the park when we get to our spot" He said as he continued to push through the wall of plants; the massive Axe he wielded cutting through the thick Thorned Vines as though they where rice paper.

User Image Kazin was now quite interested in learning the new jutsu now that it had posed a challenge just to be able to learn it. He was a little anxious as to see what the first challenge that he was to face. As he was swinging the axes, Kazin was building himself up for the challenge. He not only wanted to prove himself as a worthy ninja, but he also wanted to improve himself.

As they continued along, Kazin watched how his sensei used the giant axe that he was wielding. Kazin hadn't ever used axes, so he looked like an amateur swinging the two he had around. As he watched, he tried to understand how to better place the strikes against the weeds and vines.

I'm a ******** man continued through the woods and vines as he talked to Kazin. "We should be there in a few minutes" He said as though the thickening wall of plant was showing the way to where the two of them where currently going. "You ready for the training that you are going to get?" He asked looking over his shoulder. The Sun was almost completely hidden behind the forest line that was on the horizon.

User Image "As ready as I'm ever gonna be." replied Kazin with a determined grin.

Kazin could only begin to imagine the intensity of training he was getting ready to perform. If his sensei was building it up this much, then he knew it was going to be rough. Kazin began running through the basics, making sure he didn't forget anything. He wanted to be in top mental and physical health whenever he took this challenge on. Kazin was glad that his clothes weren't too thick or tight. He always believed in comfort rather than being flashy. He could only imagine how the forest would feel if his clothes were any heavier as he was already feeling the humidity. It wasn't unbearable, just slightly uncomfortable. Kazin easily shrugged it off, and continued to prepare himself.

I'm a ******** the two of them continued to walk; the path finally Cut away; the wall of plants seeming to stop instantly. On the other size there was a large Open area; with a massive Cave sticking out of the size of the mountain wall. "Alright here we are" he said looking at the cave that stood in front of him; as he walked into the large open area; the wall of plants forming almost a barrier around the cave.

User Image As Kazin sifted through the wall of bramble into the open, he felt himself give a sigh of relief. His excitement flared up as his sensei told him that they had arrived. He had been trying to prepare himself, now all that he could do was wait, and find out what his training was composed of.

"Now what?" Kazin asked, trying not to sound too anxious. "Do you want your axes back, or shall I be required to use them in the future?"

Kazin sort of gestured the axes towards Brengen, with the handles towards the old man. The cave intrigued his slightly, as he observed the area. The vegetation stopped suddenly, which was a little odd.

I'm a ******** continued to walk towards the cave, however as they moved closer, a number of bears walked out of the cave, As the two moved closer, Kazin would see that a few of the bears, mainly the larger one's had patterns dyed into there but on there shoulders. Along the Patterned bears was the one from before; that had 'attacked' the Genin team before they had reached Brengen's Cabin. All in all there where a number of smaller (But still big... they are full grown bears) bears. "Look for one that doesn't have any markings on' em" He said looking down at Kazin. "Thats part of the training; simply finding one that will tolerate you in order to even start your training" He said nodding slightly.

(You decide what each bear looks like, from fur color to size)

User Image Kazin, following his sensei's orders, starting looking for a unmarked bear. There were plenty of bears, so he thought this wouldn't be too hard. Despite this, Kazin was still very apprehensive. He didn't know how the bears would react as he got closer towards them. Kazin spotted a small black colored bear that wasn't marked and started to walk towards it. He walked slow, and kept his hands down.

"Do I just approach them?" Asked Kazin, unsure how each and every action would affect the group of bears.

I'm a ******** to you really" He said looking at Kazin who had asked him another question. "Each bear reacts differently, some might like an up front approach, and others might not" He said shrugging slightly; this was after all a part of his training, or at least the Test that proved if he would even be able to train at all.

( I will post as the bears from now on )

User Image Kazin continued to walk towards the black bear. He was intent on picking one. He didn't want to have to go through too many or else he might anger them all. As he walked closer, Kazin focused his eyes to try to interpret the bears movements. If the bear were to make any hostile movement, Kazin planned to jump a good distance away, as to not engage it through hostility.

BEAR!

I'm a bear...

The Bear locked Eyes with Kazin and matched him step for Step, even being a 'small' bear; its paws where still easily twice the size o Kazin's hand.... with claws to boot. The bear Simply watched the Genin; as though watching and waiting to see what the Boy would do; it was clear by looking at it that it was smart; as where the others, (I so had to hold back a Yogi Bear Joke) possibly even as smart as Humans.

User Image Ren and Neko-chan had taken to the trees, traveling at a swift but easy pace. Ren's arm was still exhausted, but the rest of him was able to keep going. It would take at least a day to get to Cloud and stopping during the night for rest was not an option. He supposed he could stop for a five minute nap if he really needed to, but other than that, he wanted to keep going the whole way. He pulled out an onigiri, wrapped in this brown, really cheap paper his mother used, from his bag and snacked on it as he ran. It was one of the rice balls his mother had made him, they almost always had something different in them. She typically filled them with a little of whatever was lying around in the fridge at the time. Hence, why it was always different. The one he had bitten into had something sweet inside it. He wasn't sure what exactly, but it was good.

Neko-chan, seeing the food in Ren's hand and being hungry herself, meowed at him in the same way a child would whine to a parent. The whine got Ren's attention and saw the cat wasn't staring at him but the rice ball in his hand. Tearing off a piece, he squished it between his middle, index finger and thumb to make sure it would stick together then tossed it up in the air to Neko-chan. As the bit of onigiri went up in the air, so did Neko-chan. The cat caught it in her mouth expertly, making Ren smile. "Nice catch." he said with a smirk. Neko-chan beamed with pride at his two words of praise. Damn arrogant cat.

Keeping their pace, the two of them continued running on. With nothing else to do but jump from branch to branch to branch, Ren's mind had plenty of time to wander all over the place. He vaguely wondered what the Cloud Village was like. He could probably put his money on it not being shrouded by an impenetrable veil of mist. That was something... that was starting to bug him. The clear sky made the sun seem intensively brighter which he was sure he would get used to, but at that very moment, it was kinda irritating. 'Oh well, just put up with it.' he retorted to himself. Then another realization surfaced. This was the first trip he'd ever taken where he didn't have to go by boat. 'Huh. Well what'dya know?' he mulled in his head. Not exactly the most interesting topic, but it was the best he had for the moment. After all, his wasn't the most interesting life.

User Image After traveling for hours, Ren came to a halt on a high branch. He was probably half way to the Cloud village, but taking a quick rest couldn't hurt. What could hurt is exhaustion, the kind which was still draining his stamina from training. He sat down, cross legged and let out a heavy sigh. Neko-chan padded up next to him and nuzzled his leg. It was funny, as evil as she could be at times, she was actually a pretty good companion. Something that turned Ren's expression even more sour than it usually was. Seika was probably missing her like crazy. He felt kinda bad for not returning her sooner, but it wasn't like there was all that much he could really do about it. He scratched behind her ear as he took his few minutes to rest. He figured that little bit of his onigiri wouldn't be quite enough to satiate the cat's hunger, so he pulled out one of the cat food cans and opened it. "Eat quick. We gatta get movin' soon." he told her as he set the can down on the branch in front of the little creature's paws. Neko-chan's whole body had perked up as she watched him open the can, and her tail had gone back to flicking back and forth eagerly. She meowed her thanks and ate greedily and more than quick enough to suit Ren's need to hurry along. Ren took the time to fill his own stomach as well.

Ren only allowed them ten minutes of rest. As soon as the two of them had finished up and Ren was rested enough, they rose to their feet- and, er- paws, and headed out again. Back on course, Ren incresed their pace just a bit to make up for lost time. He was also back on his wandering train of thought. One question he'd failed to bring up earlier. If he was going to pick up another Miyaki, what had happened to the other? Did Hiyo refuse the invitation, or what? Well, hell if he knew and hell if he could honestly say he cared. He was just trying to distract his mind long enough to last the journey. But god damn, was his life boring. Even to himself, these little specks of thought were only interesting for so long before they were enough to put himself to sleep! The only thoughts that were able to keep his interest were the ones of Seika. He had no clue as to why, but they either made him feel terrible for practically kidnapping- well, cat-napping her cherished pet or gave him that awkward, gut-wrenching sickness that was starting to climb up to his chest. Now he was starting to wish he was back on one of those boats. At least on them, he could read to keep himself from these random thoughts. He didn't really want to try reading while running. That was hard enough to do while walking on flat ground. He knew. He'd tried! You run into walls doing that! While jumping through trees- he could all ready hear the 'George of the Jungle' theme playing in his head! Was this what he got for being so emotionally void? Though, it seemed to more he let emotion get into his head, the more random his thought-process got. Or was it random?

Well there was no time for any more of that random or not-so-random thinking, because his destionation was nearing. Well what do you know? Looks like the thought-train of obscurity took him a lot farther than he'd thought. Miyaki Tatsuya. Where in the hell would he look first? Where indeed? More importantly, WHO was he looking for? He had a name, yeah but names can only really get one so far. He supposed the only thing he could really do was ask around, hope for the best. Ren had a relatively vague idea of what Hiyo looked like. Maybe, assuming they had some relation, he could find someone who looked relatively similar. 'Wellp. 'ere goes sum'in.' he sighed to himself as the gate to Cloud came into sight.

User Image Kazin continued to move slowly closer to the bear. He tried to keep low to show respect, but he didn't want to put himself at a major disadvantage if the bear attacked. Kazin noticed the bear moving with him. He was hoping that it was a good sign, but he was prepared for the worst. He slowly reached his hand out, with his palm facing up to show respect and humility towards the bear. He was looking at the bear, but wasn't glaring. He felt that glaring was improper, and might portray a challenge towards the bear. Kazin was watching the bear with kind eyes, hoping that it would accept him.
