A Little Problem (A Shrinking RP)

"Well, we better make sure it's okay with Ikuto before we decide to do anything. It would give us time to look around while he prepares everything we... I will need to check the water substances."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I mean, it's rude to start looking around without permission. He's offering hospitality to us."

Kisuke chuckles a little. "Are you surprised that a scientist would ask permission before investigating?"

Jack stroked his chin a moment, "Well...after what happened today. Yes."  

[TsukiyomiIkuto_Yoru]

"Hahah. I figured. But, not all scientists are rude, egotistical morons." he says, tapping his chin. "I assume that's what you thought I was."

"Sorry if I am being cautious..."  

[TsukiyomiIkuto_Yoru]

"You have every right to. Especially since it's me we're talking about." he says, gripping his left hand tightly. "Damn...this is not going to work..."

"What's wrong?" asked Jack, leaning forward a little to look at his hand.  

[TsukiyomiIkuto_Yoru]

"Nothing. I'm fine." he says, waving Jack away. "I'll be fine. Eventually...." he says, mumbling the last word.

"Hey, come on now. Is something wrong with your hand? Did you hurt yourself?"  

[TsukiyomiIkuto_Yoru]

"It's nothing, really. My hand has been like this as long as I can remember." Kisuke says. "It's the reason I became a scientist in the first place."

Jack blinked, looking confused, "So you became a scientist because your hand hurts?"  

[TsukiyomiIkuto_Yoru]

"It's not because my hand hurts. It's why my hand hurts." he says, smiling.
