Arwa looked at his legs and did a little dance to check that they were like Markus' and indeed they were like his. Beaming a smile up to Sage, he gave her a really big cuddle. "Are you sure you can keep the illusion up for long?" Delilah asked, pretty concerned that Sage was taking too much onto herself too quickly. "It is quite a big illusion."

Sage nodded her head returning the hug Arwa gave her. She glanced up at her friend. " Yes I can keep it up long enough for us to take the cattle and everything but once we've gotten them and sacrificed them I think I'll probably have to drop all my illusions and just rest a while. It's been a while since I've created an illusion this big and I've been doing them almost nonstop since we got here. I probably won't be able to create anything though. Especially after this illusion."

Delilah looked ahead to Flicker, who had left a large gap between the rest of the group and herself and the sheep. She wondered if Flicker actually knew where they were going, and wondered what Troy looked like. "So..." she said to both Arwa and Sage, "Who's ready to see the walls of Troy?" As Arwa hopped ahead smiling and laughing, Delilah wondered about how, when they all returned to their true time, Arwa would cope in a world so different from the one he was in currently.

Sage smiled lightly. " It should be interesting let's just hope Flicker doesn't go nuts when she sees it. Her and living in History that's already been made probably isn't a great idea."

"I'm still not sure if by killing that man I've done a great favour or a great disservice to the future..." Delilah muttered, then as she saw Arwa stop for a second and start shouting at them about a 'giant sleepy brown worm', she ran up to her little boy.

Sage followed her friend at a more leisurely pace. " Well hopefully it won't change anything. Flicker would probably have a better idea of the theories than I would since those things give me headaches and take me in circles. What did you find Arwa?"

"A really fat brown worm!" Arwa said, louder, "It's really long and it's got big eyes!" He was close enough to touch the sleeping creature. "Arwa, I don't think that's a worm..." Delilah started to say as she quickly walked to her 'son' to see what he had found.

Sage followed. " I hope this isn't anything like our first encounter. We don't need another one of those."

Delilah saw what Arwa had found, was essentially, a very large brown and black patterned snake as thick as a giant tree-trunk, coming out of a gaping hole, like a cavern mouth in the stone-like ground. "What is it?" whispered Arwa, hiding in the bushes nearby. "It looks like a snake..." said Delilah. "I don't like it. It looks scary." Arwa said as he huddled into Delilah's shoulder as he pretended not to show tears in front of Markus. "If we go past it quietly, it won't wake up. It's probably very tired and doesn't need to be disturbed." Delilah said, comforting her 'son' with a reassuring hair shuffle. Keeping a distance from the snake, Arwa held out a finger to his lips to Sage, telling her that it was really important that the snake did not wake.

Jasmine looked at the snake. "Ah...snake." She whispered, patting Arwa's head. "Completely normal." Still, it was a little large for her liking, though in all honesty, it was a snake. They had arrows and bows and swords with them. "Do we have to go this way, or can we just say 'bye-bye' to the probably poisonous snake?"

Sage eyed the snake warily. " I'd love to be able to go right past the snake. I don't want to deal with it either if we don't have to."

"Considering we have met the gods and they were real- I suppose this is one of their pets. Do we really need another god on our case for killing one of their pets?" Delilah said, "Shall we hold a vote on our course of action or get someone to decide for us?" The snake seemed to shuffle slightly, but did not move anywhere. It was rather an ugly brute with a head looking like it was made from stone crowned with many ridges on its head like ridges on a canyon. It slumber-glazed eyes were a dull blue or possibly grey with no pupil in the centre. "I'm all for getting away and getting Pan placated, but we really need a decision made...." she looked around suddenly, "Have you seen Flicker? Where's Flicker got to?"

Sage nodded. " I say we leave the snake and Peace and go find Flicker before she does something crazy."

"Knowing Flicker, she'll probably be already there trying to get into Troy with all those sheep of hers." Delilah smiled, then looking from Arwa's concerned face to the sleeping snake, she whispered to the group, "I think it's best to go around this beast and let sleeping snakes lie." As she took Arwa's hand to lead him away, unbeknownst to the group, Pan was setting thinga in motion.
