Riku Yukimura The Ice Prince
Riku nodded. "Sure, that'd be great." he smiled down at Shige. "Though I hope this guy will also be there with us."

Varro watched Rei curiously on the way she reacted and played with Shige, this was the first time since they met that he really studied her features. He of course had noticed the eyes, but he had also seen others with equally odd looking eyes. While he watched her and the dog some of his reading started to come back to him, something with a clan and their connections with dogs, wolves, and all breeds of those animals. He had a friendly dog back home, one that had been in his family for a long time and it was the closest thing his father has to a companion since it was a gift from his now deceased mother. The name of the clan was there on the tip of his tongue, but it never fully developed, so he passed it along for now.
When Rei asked him the question about Lt he thought about how to answer, he simply nodded, "Yeah, there's a lot I found out recently, and I'd love to have someone to talk to about when time allows. Maybe on some down time we can go get tea and talk, that is if you don't mind."*** ((adding cause of new posts)) Varro then listened to the two of them talk about training, and when Riku asked if he would be there he smiled and nodded, "Of course, when the opportunity comes, I would love to train and spar with my some of my fellow students."

LT noticed while he was teaching several of his students were doing nothing but talking in the back. They werent doing anything bad, or wrong, and their talking were only slightly disrupting the class. But LT had orders to be rough on all of his students, so he decided to screw with them. LT formed wrote 2 sets hand-signs on the board and he himself preformed one of those sets, from across the room, those threes students would have no idea since they were preoccupied by conversation. It would be silent because of his ANBU traing, Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit) was the jutsu he used, The three shots of fish spit were sent flying accross the room and it smack each of the kids in the head. Not harmful at all, but it would get their attention. "That was Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit), that is your next jutsu. Learn it."
((So for you academy students, their are 3 jutsu's on the board, if you read carefully. They are...))
Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit) Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.
Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone.

Varro had been from time to time looking back up to the board in between the conversations to make sure the lesson hadn't moved on from the jutsu's he had already learned. Though obviously he wasn't paying attention when Lt used the fish spit jutsu and had drawn it on the bored.
When the water smacked him in the head he instantly turned from Rei and Riku, shifting his weight in his seat to sit up straight and look directly towards Lt. The look of shock and guilt was written all over his face.
"Sorry Sensei!" he said near instantly, like an instinctual reaction. Though when the surprise wore away, he studied the board, seeing the new hand sign and Jutsu on the board. As per usual his mind was quick to memorize it.
Standing he performed the necessary movements, they were quick and simple, he felt the water develop in the back of his throat, "Uo Tsuba!" he said in his same quiet determination. A jet of water shot out from his mouth and landed in the bucket that had been laid out before him. With a few more signs, he smiled thinking that he might as well work on them, "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" a clone of himself appeared in perfect form next to him and together they copied each other into the third and final jutsu.
"Mizu Soujuu!" The water in the bucket that he had filled to overflowing from the water spit froze instantly. With a breath he turned to his clone and nodded to it respectfully, the clone doing the same. It still felt weird looking at himself.-Tactical Ninja (-4 to posts for learning jutsus, can only be subtracted down to 1 post)

Riku wiped the water off his face and gave LT another dull kinda stare. "Sensei, I already know all of those. What is next?"

Rei felt a little bit abashed as the sensei called them out by spitting water into their face, shige growled and Rei looked at him sternly. She didnt punish him, he just had to understand that growling at a jounin would get them killed. To him, it didn't matter. I was his girl, and he was my companion. I pet him afterward to make sure he knew I loved him. Leaving my hand there, I started to add chakra in my throat and felt water gather there. I spoke, "Uo Tsuba!" A shot of water fell and hit Shige's head and his ears perked up and then he grumbled at me. Oh well, he hadn't gotten a shot from LT, so Rei didn't feel too bad.

Rei loked very closely at the board and realized that she hadn't done the handsigns quite right. She recommited them to memory, left her left hand on top of Shige's head, slightly damp now, and put her right hand to her throat after making the handsigns and commanded her chakra again, "Uo Tsuba!"
A jetstream of water fired into the bottom of the bucket leaving a small hole in the bottom. That was more like it, but she might want to work on toning it down later....
Jutsu learned, she turned to Varro- "I'd love to meet you for tea later. Sorry for getting us into trouble." She looked down and abashed. Rei made a note to apologize to the sensei later if time allowed. Noting Riku for a second, she wondered why he was so stoic... maybe she would ask him later. Once she knew him better. She wouldnt forget to invite him to Kiri lake for training. She wouldn't forget to ask Varro either.

((ah, it's cool =) thanks for the head's up))
Rei had to tone it down, and it was best she not put it off. She poured chakra through her whole body, re-familiarizing herself with it's power and feel. She then concentrated the chakra in her throat. She quickly made the handsigns and said, Uo Tsuba a little more forcefully than necessary.
Water quickly gathered in her troat and made itself into a projectile. It exited her mouth in a blur and shot it's way toward the bucket. As it was a about to hit the bucket she made handsigns like rapid fire and near yelled 'Mizu Soujuu!'. The fish spit started doing laps around the inside of the bucket. Rei made a contented grin as she released the water into the bottom of the bucket.

LT nodded, "Varro, dont think that by you being related to the Mizukages means that im going to take it easy on you. This is the next jutsu you will learn, Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique) It is very useful for a number of reasons. Sorry Riku, Ill try to speed up the process so you wont get too bored." LT wrote the Hand signs on the board and then he made the hand signs himself causing the windows of the class room to turn into mirrors. Though he used the water in the air, they would not be as advanced and would probably use the water from the buckets.
Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique) Description: A simple jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop and as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. This can allow the user to see behind himself, and around corners with careful application of the technique.

Varro's eyes widened and his cheeks reddened as the news he had just found out himself was shared with the rest of the class. He looked over to Rei, to see if she would react, he only mainly seemed concerned with her. Yet before he would have much time to really see he turned back to the board were a new jutsu was being written, with the same style of diagram of hand signs.
"Of course Sensei Lt, I wouldn't want you to," He responded aloud when he regained his barrings. He started to study the board, going through the process of committing the drawings to memory, the example had caused him to react in an excited manner at the power he could one day have with only a small whim of his own mind. For those looking towards him, the clone he had made and virtually forgot about was staring just as intently at the board as the real Varro was.
With a deep breath in he started making the proper signs, the energy around him compressed to his will, the more he worked with the chakra, the more he felt he had greater control over it. A bump to his arm distracted him and he turned to who had bumped into him, he saw the clone who also looked at him with the same shocked distaste.
"hmm... don't need you for this..." He said to his clone who suddenly broke into a pool of water on the floor. Given that the bucket he had to use was now a frozen cube, this actually gave him a new body of water to work with.
"Mizu Kagami no Jutsu!" the force he had re-gathered felt like it shot out from him and onto the pool of water on the floor, he could feel it shifting to a completely different type of surface. Looking down he smiled again at how quickly he was getting these Jutsu's down. The pool that had been on the floor made by his clone was now a mirrored surface. He couldn't help but make a small wave to his reflection, feeling it ironic that what he now saw himself in was a moment ago an actual functioning clone of himself.

Rei looked up at Varro and Shige cocked his head, "You're related to the Mizukage?" She was a little stunned. She reclled his last name from lake kiri, Hai'Auo. "When we get tea." She decided to just try the new jutsu.

Rei was about to try to do the jutsu when her mother's huge companion Rath busted through the door in full panic mode. She howled and barked and beelined it for Rei knocking her over almost enough to break her. Rath panted and growled and soon sat down and began whining. Because she was almost as big as a clydesdale, it made quite the commotion. Shige was completely stressed at the appearance of his normally calm mother like this.
Rei saw a note in Rath's rope collar used for extra stability while riding. She pulled it out. Her little brother Shio had just been attacked. He had been with his newborn pup, Takaro and... He was mauledby a male bear in the woods behind the family compound. She was summoned to their home immediately. They were in the compound medical building. She grabbed Shige up in her arms, not as easy as it used to be, and turned back to Rath, in panic and grief stricken herself. What had happened to her mother?? She boosted Shige onto his mother's back and he grabbed the rope around her neck with his teeth. Rath laid down and let Rei step on her elbow to get on her back behind Shige. Rath stood and bolted for the door. The note fluttered to the ground as she left.

Hizuma sighed and looked up at the board. It was rather funny watching them getting pelted in the face with a ball of water, but he didn't show his amusement...on his face. Instead he turned to the board and read over the jutsu. Water Manipulation...
Hizuma read this over, memorizing the basics of the training. He began to concentrate, feeling the air around himself. As it was normally misty, he had no trouble feeling moisture in the air. He focused on this as the basisi for his training.

Aideen Hyuuga ミストのブラインド娘 Hyuuga Bloodline| Academy Student| Taijutsuist Aideen looked at the board for a second, she'd been memorizing it long enough and practically missed everything. She started with Uo Tsuba, seeing as it the the first. She preformed the handsigns for a second, making sure she understood the jutsu. Being out of it wasn't like her, when she uttered the vocalization for the jutsu, nothing happened. "So that's how it's going to be..." Her eyes widened as she realized something important, she hadn't retracted her metal face mask, she'd drown herself if she tried the jutsu with it on. With a simple thought, it retrtracted into narrow pieces of metal on the side of her face. Now just to try it again. This was only a start, she was glad she didn't know the jutsu yet, but at the same time not so, it was a bittersweet victory on her part. She wanted to make sure the handsigns were preformed correctly so she did them again, not trying the jutsu yet. There wasn't a problem though, she followed the instructions directly, maybe it was a lack of practice and chakra on her part.[1/3] Aideen attempted the jutsu again, this time actually adding chakra, and she succeded, but not by much. "Hmm, third times a charm?" She asked herself quietly, she was getting better and better. All she really needed to do was practice, it was just as the saying went, practice makes perfect. Then she had to finish all those other jutsus though...She was oddly fast with her handsigns, meaning she could do way more than anybody in just one try. She looked at the board one last time, no use blundering up a good try anyway.[2/3] Aideen preformed the handsigns once more, putting some real effort into this one. She added the chakra, the handsigns, and had the practice. She was silent for a second, hoping for a success, a real one. "Uo Tsuba." She fired off a jet of water, just as the jutsu was meant. "I-I actually did it!" She marveled silently at her triumph, but there were still a few jutsus left. She'd start with Mizu Soujuu since it seemed like it was the most needed. She read the board over and started to practice with the bucket of water she'd gotten.[3/3]
Aideen got ready to use Mizu Soujuu, memorizing the handsigns and preforming them quickly. She needed more practice because the only response she got from the water was a brief movement. Nothing noteworthy there. She sighed, this one would take about the same amount of time as the last one, a bit less if she gave it some real effort, real fast. She wasn't going to spend all day on it like Uo Tsuba so she automatically dismissed this fluke as practice.[1/3] She preformed the handsigns again, making sure to be precise in her signs, the water in the bucket started to move more wildly, but not so much it could be considered control, but it seemed to bubble a little and form a very thin frost line on itself. That was ok, but could it really be considered a success, no. "I'm getting better." She said to herself, pretty soon she'd only have two left. She actually liked this one, it was a good jutsu to have.[2/3] Aideen tried once more. She had Mizu Soujuu [ down this time. The water was moving around in a complete circle boil and freeze. Though she wasn't exactly a master of it so it could be better, but now it could be used in battle. Aideen nodded, now she really only had two to go. The water turned back to normal and just stood there, now she had to learn the mirror technique and the water clone technique. She wasn't going to pass without them.[3/3]
Aideen looked at the board, Mizu Bunshin No Jutsu was next on her list, then Mizu Kagami No Jutsu. She did the handsigns for the jutsu and looked at the water clone she'd made. It had no defining shape and still seemed to be just water. It didn't look anything like the jutsu said it was suppose to look. She'd just have to try again. It actually looked very distracting, a wavering watery blob would certainly scare her of it popped up out of nowhere. She released the jutsu and prepared to try again.[1/3] Aideen tried the jutsu again, it looked a bit better this time. It had a definite shape, just no real form, it was still just water. Aideen looked at it for a second, still not useful as a distraction, though still a little bit creepy. At least it ould be one more try before she really got it. She stretched her shoulders, almost done with the four jutsus.[2/3] Aideen tried the jutsu one last time, a complete clone made of water stood beside her, same shape, form, and definition. She smiled, that was all she needed from this jutsu. Now only one was left, Mozu Kagami No Jutsu, then she'd have gotten all of them down. She released the jutsu again and got ready for the next, final jutsu on the board. She'd probably have to get another one though.[3/3]
Aideen looked at the handsigns for Mizu Kagami No Jutsu, it would be useful for all types of espionage. He preformed them quickly and got a small glimmer from her water, it seemed as though this would take the same amount of time as the last ones. She sighed, was all this effort really needed, she could have breezed through this easily. She sighed and tried the jutsu again.[1/3] Aideen this time had gotten a thin mirror, it was like looking through a very thick mist though. It was ironic considering where she lived. She decided to breeze with this one. She released the jutsu and got ready for a final try.[2/3] Aideen finally created a good Mizu Kagami No Jutsu with her last try. It was like a real mirror, she hardly believed it was just water. Now that this was out of the way, Aideen had no fear of being left behind by everybody else. She released the jutsu and sat there quietly, waiting for whatever was next.[3/3]
