Aoi looked up from her book, as Sosay mentioned her. "O-ok Raikage-sama......" Aoi said more politely as usual, as she was bothered by something. She shut the book and nodded. She put it in her backpack, as she waited for everyone to go for the Lake, For Aoi would surely to follow; only if they went first.

It had been a long month. A very long month. But Ken Raite was back from the mission with his father, and he was excited to see Sosay, and see how she had liked his gift to her. When he arrived at the office, however, he noticed she wasn't there...but there was a note. Reading it over quickly he nodded, and headed toward the lake.

Passing the receptionist as she continued forward she went to her office, tearing the note off as she did so. Closing to door behind her she slid down to the floor, her body weight pressed against the door. Sosay buried her head into her knees as silent tears fell down her cheeks. "How could this have happened...?'' she cried out. Right now she was in the midst of a mental break down, scared that something like that might happen to her as well. { OcC: }

The situation was a little odd, that was for sure. First Ukiyo goes nuts, jumps off a balcony, and knocks himself into a coma. Then his nephew comes along.
But that wasn't what Ken found the weirdest part. The weirdest part, to him, was how Sosay knew. And it wasn't just a feeling like 'Oh, I think somebody's in trouble, I should go investigate'. No...she knew not only who it was, but where exactly to go. That was odd.
He walked up the stairs, and knocked on the door. The sound of his knocking muffled out her cry on the other end, so he didn't hear her speak. "You there? I want to ask you something." he said. He'd go back to the hospital after he had this cleared up. It was just a nagging little thing that he wanted to know, first. And it wasn't because it was her and Ukiyo at all. That had absolutely nothing to do with it. Had it been Raiden, Aoi, or anybody else in a coma on that bed he'd still be here about to ask the same question.

He wanted to talk with her and sounded like he wasn't going to take no for an answer. "I..." she started before standing up and slowly opening the door. Once open it revealed her tear streaked face, tears still falling. "Come on in Ken." she replied, her shoulders jerked every so often from her crying. { OcC: }

Ken had opened his mouth to ask his question, but saw she'd been crying. He stepped inside and closed the door, then put an arm around her waist. He other hand came up and gently brushed her tears off her cheeks. "What's wrong, Sosay?" he said softly. She'd seemed remarkably composed in the hospital, so he'd thought that she was over her fear...if she'd been crying over that, clearly she wasn't.
He led her over to her chair and he sat down in it, making enough room next to him so that she could sit as well. She looked like she could use some rest, and to just sit down and relax.

Ken held her close while she cried and spoke of her fears. He rested his head gently against hers. "It's okay...nothing like that will happen..." he said softly. He moved a hand that was on her back slowly up and down.
"Why do you think that will happen to you?" he asked softly. "You don't look to me like you're crazy...and I should know. You're my girlfriend." he said with a small smile. He kissed her on the top of the head, waiting for her explanation.

"Please...stop crying." he said softly, hating seeing her like this. He wanted her to stop crying for two reasons...one he didn't like to see his girlfriend like this, and two, he wanted to know...
What jewel? And what did that have to do with anything?
