"No, I went here last semester, I just decided to take a little time off. I'm staying with some friends at the moment." Because they apparently kick you out for bad grades.
He watched as she took her phone out of her pocket, only to put it back after just a second. "I'm not real sure I have the time to do anything fun. My friends and I have been pretty busy lately."
(okay, it's been an hour and I can't come up with any more for this post.) DX

"Actually thanks to the incident which has occurred with Mr. Ray, I have a remarkable amount of control of my powers now," Annie said. "I don't understand the extent of my power or my limits, and I only know the basics. I do know that after using my power for hours ended with adverse affects for me. I started coughing up blood that was black- blood should not be black."

Lily Stinson  "Hmm." she began at the interesting concept that he was once a student here, last semester he said. It was funny, that was when she was out doing all the things her mother hated, when she was gone from the time classes ended until pretty much when they began again. "I was pretty occupied last semester. Sorry I don't remember seeing you." she said with a half smile, feeling her phone vibrate yet again. Damn this woman is persistent! Why doesn't the old bat just give up already!" she briefly thought to herself before returning her attention back to Ako, Lily brushed the stubborn hair away from her eyes once more. Each time she looked at the man, she couldn't help but look at his sleeves, burnt sleeves where just not something you seen everyday on a collage student. "If you are taking a break, why are you here?" she asked with another questioned note in her voice. "do your friends go to school here or something?" she was curious to know why someone who was suppose to be taking a break from school was still here. "Most people when they take a break don't stay at the university that they are breaking from. You are a strange one.." she spoke yet again, averting her eyes idly to his sleeves. She really wanted to ask what happened, the more she pondered the question, the more it wanted to roll of her tongue. (Try to lessen the amount of attention you give to Lily. You are on a roof top after all, a horn could honk, or a bird land near by. Be creative with your surroundings. Just trying to give you some tips. ;I )

"Well, I'm not really staying on campus permanently, I'm just visiting a friend, he's let me and a few others stay in his dorm." There was a quick movement off in Ako's peripheral vision, and he quickly turned to see that it was only a bird. His mind had made the shadow appear to be another one of Mr. Ray's F-drone emitters, and he'd already brought a hand halfway up to fire a bolt of electricity at it. He realized he'd just accidentally shown Lily his superhuman reflexes and speed, along with hinting at his power. This is why he should have stayed in the dorm, he knew he was too tired to not screw something up. Careful to keep a human speed, he turned back and put his hands in his pockets, waiting to see what Lily would do. Hopefully not run away screaming.

Tansy paused when Annie entered the room. She was about to talk about her own life taking care of her little sister and the things they might have had in common. For once it would have been nice to talk about something normal. She blushed softly and leaned her hands on the counter behind her and staid silent.

Lily Stinson Lily Nodded in understanding when he explained to her farther the situation. Though, when he said 'friends' she was slightly alarmed. She knew most the dorms where accommodated to fit two maybe three people. Hopefully it was just two friends he was speaking of, she could see four people in a dorm room. Once again, she was glad she was her own roommate. "Well that's a kind friend who is hosting you." she said once again with a smile. But then, when he turned faster then she had ever seen any human move before, it alarmed her. Seeing the only other thing on the roof besides the two was a tiny pigeon. She swallowed hard as she examined Ako even more so now. I'm not going to run away. Maybe he is in the army or something. Karate can teach you to be fast as well.. I seriously doubt that fast. But it can happen! she thought to herself, her mental voice rather panicked. Not only was his movements way to fast to be natural, but he was holding his hand in a way she had only seen in the movies. She half expected a big ball of energy to fly from the mans palm as did in many of her child hood cartoons. "Um.. It's a bird. I don't think it means you any harm..." she said, peeking her head around him, small brown tresses standing slightly on end as she neared him. "He comes in peace" she said in the voice commonly used when people say that phrase. She didn't want to ask him about his unreal speed, or why his hand was held up right, static electricity causing her hair to stand almost on end. People have their perks. Maybe he has a artificial heart or something.. (Glad I could help)

(lolz. Power went out for about an hour. I got my trusty flash light and gathered supplies in case this storm got worse, and it came back on ten minutes after I got settled in.)
"Sorry, uh, I was almost mugged yesterday. I'm a little on edge." Ako said, making up what he hoped would be a believable story. He saw that her hair was starting to stand up, under the influence of the one aspect of his power he had yet to figure out how to control.

Lily Stinson She smirked at the obvious lie. Someone like him getting mugged? She seriously doubted it, it would be most likely that someone would avoid him in fear of getting mugged, his height, and his stature, not to mention his disheveled clothes only added to his Grundy look.
"You expect me to believe someone as freakishly tall as you was mugged?" she shook her head, trying to flatten her hair. Then it hit her, her hair began to act strange about the same time he went crazy ninja. She paused and looked at him, then looked at his pocketed hands. "What are you?" she asked, giving a obvious answer to his unasked question.
As her sentence flowed off her tongue, the girl felt her phone go off once again. This time, rage was going to take hold of her. She took the phone from her pocket, scanning over the text message. Call me ASAP! is all it said, from none other then her mother. She sighed, shaking her head and sent a message back Chill. I made a friend she sent the thing and pocketed the little device once again. Returning her attention back to the now obvious not so normal Ako.
Lily waited patiently for a answer, hoping he wouldn't think she would be scared by anything he would have to say, to be honest not much would surprise her anymore. Not in the day and age they where living in now. Nothing was impossible, at least not to her.

"Black blood eh? I'll have to speak with my phlebotomy colleague. I know biology inside and out, but when it comes to absolutely anything that can go wrong with blood he's the one you really want to talk to."
He turns his attention back to Tansy and sees that she has a little color in her cheeks. He asks with concern, "Tansy are you alright? You're looking a bit flush."

Ako took a deep breath in at her question, not surprised at it. He slowly let the breath out and looked her square in the eye for the first time in their conversation. "I kinda hoped you would believe that, yeah."
He noticed that she got another text. By now, after the nearly constant activity of it, he was able to sense the circuitry of the device, and he guessed that he'd be able to recognize it later. "I'll tell you, but you have to promise me you won't tell anybody else. Okay?" He knew he shouldn't tell her at all, that he should just give her the cold shoulder and go back to the dorm room, but for some reason he couldn't. It felt like he had to tell her.

Lily Stinson Lily bit her lip at his offer. Secrets where always exciting. It only made her want to know that much more. The small teenager brushed her hair back once more, trying to keep it flat against her head once again. It was a failed attempt, however the static was getting less and less. "I can keep a secret." she said flatly, leaning in a bit closer to hear his answer.
She felt her phone vibrate once again, giving the indication her mother was more then interested now. She was talking to a friend, that was something unheard of. Lily didn't have friends besides her boards, bikes, and other dangerous toys. She smirked, this was almost as exciting as motocross.
Though, she had to admit, she was half expecting something smart like I was bit by a spider... Or I fell in a pit of radiation something along the lines of your common comic book relief, something meant to be a joke. Little did she know that there was more to her new friend then met the eye. Little did Lily know that what she was about to hear would most likely change her forever.

Ako took a second to think of a good way to tell her. He may not have been one for talking, but he always liked to inject some drama whenever he could. He likened this little quirk to his love of spicy food when he got bored. Whatever it took to keep things interesting.
"You know that meteor, a couple months ago? How stories started going around about some people who got powers from being too close to it?" At this point, he pulled his right hand out of his pocket and held it about shoulder height, open palm facing her. "I'm one of them." He closed all but his first to fingers, leaving a 'V'. He sent a small electrical arc climbing between the fingers, like a Jacob's Ladder. He couldn't help but feel a little pride as he showed off his power, and a small smirk tugged at his lips.

Lily Stinson Lily felt her jaw drop as she watched Ako's next action, she stood in amazed at the small jolt of electricity that played between his fingers. She was at a loss for words, though it didn't last long. The girl quickly looked around to make sure no one else had noticed Ako's action, I mean come on. It wasn't every day you saw a man spring electricity between his fingers!
"That mambo jumbo was true? You have to be kidding me. But from what I heard, there is six of you. Do you all have this same ability? " she asked, obvious curiosity in her voice. She wanted to reach out and touch the volts of electricity, to see if they where real, but the logical part of her mind told her not to. That they where, and it wouldn't be a wise thing to do. She might just get a shock so harsh it would send her flying off the roof.
I can't believe this. It has to be a dream! This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me! she thought, practically wanting to jump out of her skin in joy.
"Does it hurt? " she asked, obvious about the electricity that was formed in his hands, she couldn't imagine how it would feel. Did it feel natural, was it Alien to him. "How did you keep it a secret? That's what your break was for, wasn't it?!" she asked, obviously proud of the fact she figured that out about him. She was still awe stricken by the whitish yellow glow of electricity that played in his fingers. Her eyes never leaving the ladder. And she could tell by the boast in his voice he was proud of it as well..

Ako stopped the spark and held up the rest of his fingers in a sign for 'stop.' "Heh, easy on the questions. In order; Yes it was true, no I'm not kidding,-" He paused, wondering if he should tell her about the others. "-I haven't met any of the others, so I wouldn't know, um, No it doesn't hurt me, but It works as regular electricity, so I guess it would hurt someone else, and honestly, do I look like a guy who would get a second glance in a crowd? As long as I keep the displays to a minimum, I can conceal it pretty easy." He intentionally ignored the last question, his reasons for dropping out were complex. This was only one of the reasons.
He realized now he probably shouldn't have told her; who knows who she was going to tell now? The police, even just other people, he may have just given them all away.

Lily Stinson Lily blushed at the mention of her questions, she felt a little embarrassed she let her curiosity get the better of her. But it wasn't every day you saw someone produce electricity between his fingers. She nodded and looked around, able to see the side walk across the street, people rushing in and out of coffee shops and restaurants, seeking a quick coffee and breakfast. Which reminded her, she was a little hungry now.
She quickly returned her gaze back to the man in front of her, seeing the strain on his face, regret of showing her his secret. But he had nothing to worry about, Lily wasn't going to tell his secret, who would believe her? Not only that, but she had no friends, and her mother would just laugh in her face and tell her to wake up and smell the coffee.
"Ako, you don't have to worry. I'm not going to tell anyone about your ability. Who would believe me anyways? Plus, I have no friends, and my mother would smack me silly with 'that kind of nonsense' she mocked her mothers voice with the last of her words. She tried to pull a reassuring smile, but it was a fail, she was worried about the boy now. He was hiding this secret, but it was more then that it seemed.
"So you are like a super hero, I'm guessing." she asked, trying to add a bit of humor to her voice, she really wanted him to be comfortable around her, she could see herself friends with him, he was nice.. sweet even. It had been so long since a guy just wanted to talk to her just to talk to her. Most the time guys who didn't want to use her for her money to fund their extreme habits (Which she loved to do, when she could. She got just as much joy out of it as they did.) or the ones who wanted things that...Let's just say they wanted the kind of relationship that only lasted a night and she wasn't that kind of girl.
