TJ the Dragon Prince TJ walked down Route 1 toward Viridian City, his Squirtle at his side. They had been following the road, but from the looks of it, they were going to have to go through a bit of tall grass to get past a row of hedges. "Squirt. Squirtle squirt! Squirtle..." Squirtle seemed a bit worried at walking in grass that was taller that he was. "Don't worry about it. Look, I'll go first. Okay?" TJ stepped into the grass, making a path for the turtle pokemon following him. When he was several steps in, a noise caused him to stop. He tilted his head to the side and listened. He noticed that his Squirtle was doing the same. There was a flash of movement and a wild Pidgey shot into the air. A grin spread across TJ's face. This was as good a chance as any. "All right, Squirtle. You ready?" "Squirtle!" The Squirtle nodded and watched the bird pokemon closely, waiting for his chance.

The Pidgey flew around the Squirtle a few times before darting in close for an attack, but the water pokemon was ready. "Squirtle, Tackle attack!" The Squirtle waisted no time in rushing the oncoming bird pokemon, crashing into it bodily. The crash was enough to knock the bird to the ground where it lay stunned. It was over far too easily. Catching such a pokemon wouldn't benefit his team any so TJ left it and continued on his way with his Squirtle following beside. "You did good, Squirtle. You won your first battle. You should be proud." "Squiiiiirt. Squirt!" TJ got the feeling that his pokemon was still fired up from the battle and was very pleased with him for winning.

 Dollie gripped her Poke-Ball firmly and stood in the field of Route One. She was quite nervous mainly because this would be her first Pokemon battle. Though she didn't know how to battle quite well! Hopefully their first Pokemon wouldn't be so hard to beat right? "Well, here we go. Now or never! Come on out Taylor!" Dollie tossed Taylor's Poke-Ball into the air releasing her buddy Taylor! "Ready for a battle?!" The Squirtle nodded in excitement! It was finally time for her to impress her new trainer, Dollie! "Squirtle! Squiiiirtle!" Dollie gleed in joy as Taylor declared it was ready to battle. Mainly because a Rattata was following her! "Great! So okay, look! A Rattata!" Dollie turned around and pointed to a Rattata bearing teeth at her. She must've known it was following her since she knew it was right behind her! "Let's go Taylor!"

Taylor quickly jumped behind Dollie and waited for her orders. "Quickly Taylor, use your tackle attack!" Taylor nodded and lunged at the Rattata with full force tackling it to the ground. The Pokemon stumbled and fell over fainted. "Excellent! Way to go Taylor!"

Iris came from Route two. Her and her Pokemon had been training for hours now and it was time for a break. The girl walked into Route one, a grin on her face and her Christmas colored Leafeon on her heels. "You've done good today Ares." She spoke softly and glanced at the pokemon. Ares merely looked up at her for a moment before his eyes focused back onto where they were walking but not before his leafy tail wagged.

Dollie and her pal Taylor quickly noticed a pair walking through the rolling plains of route One. "Oh look Taylor! A trainer! Let's go find out what's it's like to be a really powerful trainer." Dollie ran across the fields up to the trainer and smiled warmly along with her Squirtle. "H-Hello there. I'm Dollie and this is Taylor. You're a trainer right?"

She smiled softly at her. "Yeah, I'm Iris and this is Ares." The girl anwsered the question. To tell the truth she was a bit surprised Dollie came upto her not that it was a bad thing. "Nice to met ya." Iris held out her hand. "Are you a trainer as well?" She questioned.

"Well, I've got to train some more. I'm still trying to get my second gym badge. Hope to see ya soon." Iris stated before the ran off toward Route 2.

Zac enters Route 1 and looks all around.
"This is it. I wonder what's the first Pokemon I'll run into?"
Zac then approaches a man in an apron. He claimed he was working for the Poke'Mart then handed him a free potion. Zac thanks the employee then darts off into the grass.

A lv.3 Rattata is encountered!
Zac stares at the Rattata for a while.
".....Oh right! Go Bulbasaur!"
Zac throws the pokebal and Bulbasaur emerges.

Bulbasaur uses Tackle on Rattata defeating it. "Bul~ba!"
"Good job Bulbasaur" Zac says returning him to his pokeball.
Zac decided not to catch Rattata.

"Oh it looks like you're getting sronger already" Zac says to Bulbasaur.
