Greetings all. And eh, i wouldn't rely on most of the yautja fan sites. @_@ I've yuet to come across a single one with a yautja doctionary that wasn't almost 30% fake, and including the term "Cetanu" which is not only fan-made, but contredictory to the established yautja pantheon. Even TheHunted, likely the most popular Predator site on the web, is almost all fan-fact and full of s**t, quite frankly... Though it does contain some nifty theories.

Yeah, true. I don't know much from the comics or books, yet, though. I recently decided to randomly become obsessed, after watching AvP for the 50th time the other day. stare But there are some interesting ones... the info all fake, no doubt... but still fun to read. Like how their blood circulation goes, and how their bodies work, and even how their reproductive systems work and how their young are born. I couldn't stop laughing in amazement..

Yeah, I can tell you right now that's all fan theory. It's interesting to read, but holds no canon or semi-canon truth to it. XP Still, it can be useful for use in say... A fanfiction, or an RP where everybody knows and agrees it should be that way. And one thing that may want to be kept in mind... In the books, Machiko Noguchi was the FIRST and LAST human to ever be blooded and taken in by the yautja. And she was never treated with an ounce of dignity or respect. She was utterly despised, and only tolerated because of the fact Dachande's final act had been blooding her, so their laws made them have to tolerate her.
The AvP movie... Well, aside from the laws of physics and basic biology, it also completely contredicts the Alien films, Aliens comics, Aliens novels, Aliens VS Predator comics, Aliens VS Predator novels, Aliens VS Predator video games, Predator films, Predator comics, and Predator novels. ... Mainly pertaining to behavior and technology with the preddish contredictions. I can't think of a single thing that wasn't wrong with the xenos, though. confused Aside from the size of the queen, which many hated but according to the books queens do get that big, and even bigger. (And I really don't think she was much larger than the one from Resurrection... Not that Resurrection wasn't another contrediction to logic and the previously established portionsof the series.)
EDIT: None the less, I will not ostracize or insult fans of Alien VS Predator. I may not like it, but that doesn't mean I've gotta be a d**k toward others.

Despised, or not, I'm mostly highly submissive in any situation.. given that the creature(s) are not obviously lower than me. (say, an ignorant human for example.) It would be a once-in-a-millenia event, during which I could experience, and maybe even learn, some things that most humans would never be able to. Sooo, even if they do dispise that sort of thing, I'd be fine with it for the time spent there. Just the same as how it would be an experience to be face-to-face with a spirit, or to meet some sort of extra-terrestrial being. *sigh* Another possibility, is that I'm just weird, and want these things to happen for a little change of pace, reguardless of the consequences I would have to suffer... as long as it was because of something abnormal. And it didn't hurt anyone I care about. And it's 3am and I'm rambling.. so that's all for tonight xp Have fun thinking how messed up in the head your newest member is. eek

Well I ain't really good at introductions but here I go. Hello there, my name is Rakai'Thwei and I have been a fan of the AvP cotinuity since the Kenner toys which were released in the early ninties and have been a fan of the Predator since it was one of the first movies I watched when I was little.
I also RP AvP but I am currently considering semi-retirement due to my hands developing arthirtist but from time to time, I like to have a good fight with a fellow Yautja RPer or so much as even anyone else for that matter. I have profiles for my character and everything, I also enjoy writing short stories.
I was introduced to this guild by Ashion and decided to join up here. So.. here I am.
