Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Samus, Yoshi, Fox, and DK
6 out of 8 have already been confirmed so I really don't think you have nothing to worry about.

Half of the original characters has been confirmed, you forgot Jigglypuff, Luigi, Ness, Capt. Falcon. 6 more need to be confirmed from Melee, Peach, Ice Climbers, Mewtwo, Mr. Gameandwatch, Marth, and Ganondorf with a new move set. The rest can be forgotten. They showed Bowser's final smash...

I kinda have this feeling that all the previous cast will return. They're just toying with us on this. Dr. Mario and Pichu really don't need to comeback for this one. I would like to see Zelda's final smash.

I'd like to see them all that I don't know, Pit, Samus, Meta-Knight, Snake, Fox...Unless that attack that made her loose her armor was Samus' final and what would Zero's Final be? I wonder if Shiek will be in this one.

THose are both good questions...I mean since I have no reason to believe that Shiek was in TP...and Zelda's look is to match her TP design...scary thought...
and what of Zero's final??? I mean since it seems that she will play similar to Zelda/Shiek...will it play like Bowser's final Smash???

I think the way zero suit will be usable after Samus' Smash, but there will be so much to wonder of Shiek, she isn't in TP.
