The Angel made a small sound of agreement, then returned the kiss just as gently as it was given. His hands wrapped around the Demon, pulling him closer without being so tight that Mao couldn't escape if he wanted to.

Mao pulled away a short while after, though only for a breath of air. He smiled and gazed into Nathan's eyes. "How is it that I feel no anger towards you?"

Nathan gazed back, his fingers drawing circles on Mao's back. "I don't know... you seemed capable of it two days ago..." He smiled with a shrug. "Possibly just because this is a wonderful moment of tonight?"

"Perhaps you're right, but even then I couldn't be truly angry. If anything I just used that as an excuse to try and stop myself from wanting to get closer to you."

Nathan grinned as he kissed Mao's earlobe lightly. "I guess I don't mind if you're Mr. Grumpy at work... I think it's cute, really..." he murmured, mouth still beside the Demon's ear.

"Of course you would think that. I doubt you could think anything else of it." Mao then took a deep breath. "I'd love for us to be a bit more intimate than this, but not here. Should I be a good boy and wait or do you want to come back to my apartment with me?"

Nathan gave it a second's thought, then pulled back to stare into Mao's eyes. "I'd like to be more intimate as well... but I'm confused since you said about getting more intimate at your grandmother' house..."
He too his own deep breath. "I guess what I'm asking is, how much more intimate do you want to get this early on?"

"Please don't say it that since she looks like she's 16..." Mao then laughed a little. "I guess I'm not good at explaining things since I leave a lot of details out. You see, she made me this promise a while back. She said that the day I find a partner and bring him or her to see her, she'd give us her mansion and she'd go elsewhere. If I take you to go meet her and she approves of you, we'd basically have our own home." Mao then thought about the other part of Nathan's question. "I guess I'm starting to get a bit ahead of myself," he replied in a less cheerful tone. "I'm sorry." He then moved away from Nathan and sat up on the bed. "I should be leaving then I guess."

Nathan thought about that for a moment and then nodded. "That makes sense, but I wouldn't want to take advantage of her even if she does approve of me..." he murmured, blinking as Mao stood up.
He grabbed his boyfriend's hands firmly. "I wasn't saying I don't want to - if I hadn't been so tired, I wouldn't have been able to keep my hands to myself when we slept in the same bed."
He smiled sheepishly. "You would have been kissed and probably molested until you told me you didn't want me..."
The Angel raised Mao's hand to his lips, kissing the back and then the palm before tracing where his lips had been with his tongue.
"I just don't want to rush our relationship, and you confused me... but I'd rather at least sleep in the same bed if you don't think we should have sex yet.." he murmured, stroking the Demon's fingers as he spoke, staring at Mao's face.

Mao shook his head. "I apologize for getting ahead of myself. Still, I'd prefer you to come stay with me if it's not too much trouble. I think I feel more at peace when I have you near me even though I obviously may not show it. The one night we spent together I was able to rest for the first time in a long time. And besides, now that we're in a relationship, I want to take care of you and maybe change my 'grumpy' personality as you would call it." Mao took a deep breath and then moved back next to Nathan.

Nathan immediately wrapped his arms around Mao and held him close. "I'd be delighted to stay with you - but you might have to stay here with me as well since mum'll worry if I stay at your place for too long..." he murmured, stroking the Demon's arms.

Mao though about it for a moment. "Well, if that's the case then do you think she or your dad will mind if I spend the night here instead?"
