The man didn't even flinch. His eyes were still locked on Elysia.
"She'll get it," he said. "She didn't die."
Elysia was frozen in place. She cupped a hand over her mouth.
Roy pulled up right then with Hawkeye. A medical team rushed out and quickly took the injured female alchemist.
"Tomiko," Roy said. "Akika, cuff this guy and knock him out." He tossed them the cuffs. He looked at his niece. "Elysia, are you all right?" he blinked. "You shouldn't be out of the hospital..." He walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Uncle Roy..." Elysia said, voice quavering.

Roy was holding his niece close as she tried to calm herself down. He looked at K'van.
"Tomiko is right, K'van," he said. "Besides, now that the man is caught and Elysia's alive, the ceremonies will take place tomorrow. You'll find out what you can do then."

Roy rubbed his niece's back.
"K'van," he said carefully. He didn't like the boy, but this was a one-time thing. "Carry her for me. We don't have enough room in the car for the injured alchemist, the man, medical team, Riza, and me. Sadly." He sighed and released his still shaking niece as the man was loaded into the car.
