Nodding at Roan, he then glanced over at Az, still wih that damn finger in his mouth. He however reached out with his left hand, that being the free one. With the plain white sleeve of his shirt exceeding the boys arm length, he wriggled his fingers at Az.

Heh - then in that at least we can all play snap. I think the only person who DOESNT have a chest scar is Dag.
On the food front... Im in accord with you, but no eating Corbin. Even if he is small and delectable right now...

As for the sprog here... he wont get any younger and it should last around about 24 hours or so. He usually sleeps for most of it, after driving me nuts. The other small problem is he doesnt remember his adult self like this. He is quite literally a child.

You and I both know how this happened. I was shocked to find out you allow Corbin to use the powers of Take. Is that something you intend to make available to all of us, or is something reserved for him?

It was an accident. Corbin let his mind get too close to Take. You know what the Daemons are like... and Take didnt fail to notice the benefits of Corbins mind and parasites. He forced a link with Corbin, using the naturally deep bond we share, which didnt exactly leave Corbin singing and dancing afterwards. Now he has a permanent channel to Corbin should he ever let it be opened, which lets Corbin 'use' Take.. though its more like Take using him. Even daring to open the link let alone use the power cripples Corbin after the fight - Take charges a high price. Also when he is using it, I cant touch Take and I suffer for it too, so he only ever does it with my prior permission.
I wasnt intending to open my head to you all - its too dangerous. Corbin's link was an accident and a mistake. Ask him about it when he grows up.
For you, it'd be even more dangerous - remember that though Kagu and Take dont hate each other as Take does Amatsu, they still arent friends. The act of letting two of them into your head could kill you.
I may however consider forming the same kind of deeper link with some of you as I have with Corbin, shoudl it prove appropriate - the you'd have access to some of my other skills. But thats apretty big step to take - as I said, when Im being channeled from, I cant use that skill, nor can I concerntrate properly.

True, I do know what take is like... so I believe you. True enough Kagu doesn't like the idea of sharing his space with Take, but I was only wondering what the situation was.

Roan, this is going to sound crazy, but when I was brought in here I thought I sensed someone... someone who couldnt, who shouldn't have been here...

Ive never told any of you the truth about my illustrious Sire and I promise I'll get around to it one of these days - trust me, no matter how many times you kill that b*****d, he keeps coming back. Technically, his name isnt and never was Leon. Its Lye. From the Syndicate - as he's the most active member in society, he tends to use the nick name Syn instead of his proper Syndicate designation, but thats another story. Suffice it to say he is around again at the moment and just like last time when he paid you and Zach and visit, he's here to see what Im doing to teh bloodline. As well as piss me off.
Dont worry though - I wont let him pin anyone to a tree this time. If possible.

Surely enough, Corbin had barely made any response through vocal, or body language, the main priority of this state being rest. By the time Az had mentioned Leon, the youngen's eyes were shut, and he slumbered.
