With just a little warning, Damian gently dipped her back, bringing her upright once more for just a few more calm turns in their place. The song ended, along with the mix, to leave them both standing as if the music had never faded.
"I love you, too," he said, with is cheek pressed against the side of her head. Damian wasn't sure what to do after that... they still had ice cream in the freezer, and yet more food didn't seem to sound any better than what they had at that moment: each other.

Raquel laughed a little to herself, pulling back just enough so she could look up at him. She reached one hand to his cheek, gently caressing his bone structure with he thumb. "It's like I don't know what to do with myself..." She said in a small voice, as if reading his mind. "...Is it silly for me to wish this could last forever?" She asked, looking up at him with longing eyes that held just a touch of sadness.

"If I have anything to do with it, it will." He was an idiot for yelling at her like he did. He was a fool for not taking her out that very night to the Ball Room to dance like an angel. But she wasn't ready, even he knew that...
"What do you want, Raquel? Besides this lasting forever, what do you want? What do you need?"
Wanting and needing were two different things, but he would do his best to appease both.

"I've got it all right here..." She said in all honesty, smiling as she looked into his lovely eyes. But knowing he wouldn't be satisfied with that answer, she furrowed her brow, thinking. "...I want you to be happy. No I need you to be. I want you to solve this mystery behind your father's death, and just get to the point where you can live in ease and be where and with whom ever makes you happy..." She said after a moment, leaning up to kiss the side of this lips gingerly. "And I hope I can be a part of that..." she smiled, somewhat coyly, somewhat genuinely concerned with that detail. Part of her prayed and just knew that they would always be together. But the other part, the more logical part, felt that this was nothing more than a short term relationship, despite how it all 'felt'. She wanted it to last forever, but she felt that was up to the both of them to make work.

He was already working on that part, he realized. Already working towards the truth, but he hadn't realized how both of their happiness was at stake. This would need to be done swiftly, but with plans to flee once more. Truth was always a terrible thing in Veratia: it either ate away at you as you lived, or did its duty by killing you.
"Alright... alright, I can work towards that. I can try my best, Raquel." And he kissed her sweetly to erase the terrible thoughts. "You make me happy, though. Don't forget that..."

Raquel let out a soft, sweet moan, kissing him back, only a bit deeper. "Darling...the same goes for me...you don't even know..." She shook her head, smiling like a fool before kissing him again.
it was then A loud Meow and slight clawing interrupted them. Trinity, who was wanting to join in the cuddle, was standing on her hind legs, stretching up to the taller beings.

Damian heaved a sigh. "Children are always around..." he laughed, bending briefly to give Trinity a scratch.
"So... what now?" he wondered aloud. "Richard and Lorey are no doubt having their dinner and doing whatever..." A devilish grin passed his lips before he tickled her stomach in their hug. "And I am terribly bored." Again he tickled her, keeping a bored look upon his handsome face while also trying to avoid the cat.

Raquel squirmed and laughed. "S-stop that!" she cried until he started up again. "Damn you Damian! You can take you're bored anxiety out on anything but you choose me!" She laughed harder, a wonderful carefree laugh as she started downward, crumpling to her knees to avoid his playful fingers.

Which of course didn't stop anything. It just meant he'd have to kneel to get to her.
"It's not really anxiety," he said, attacking her sides. "Just boredom. I mean really, everyone's out of the house and even Trinity doesn't know what to do with herself..."
Actually she did. She was quite content watching the mayhem unfold before her.

Raquel kicked and flailed, hysteria taking over her. "Damian-" She gasped between laughing fits, trying her hand at reaching for his sides, hoping he was eve a fraction as ticklish as she was.

And the battle was truly on, because whether he liked it or not, Raquel was very effective on fighting back.
"N-no, that's cheating!" he said, soon being overcome by his own tactics used against him.
Trinity still found this to be rather amusing, and so took a seat right on the couch to watch from a safe distance.

Raquel laughed, somewhat tackling him as she continued her torture with an evil grin. "What's the matter? Dont like getting a taste of you're own medicine?" She asked, going for his stomach now.

Damian managed to grab her hands finally, turning the tickling into a desperate wrestling match.
"But you are far more fun to watch then me!" And yet this was the most fun he'd had in awhile, even if it was a sick torture of sorts.

Raquel laughed but soon had to admit defeat for Damian was much stronger than her physically. She let her arms collapse as she fell on him gently, laughing all the while. She had been laughing so hard, her eyes were watering, making her shining green eyes sparkle even more.

Damian stopped once he was hovering over her. He was laughing and nearly giggling along with her, so he never stopped to think he might be in a strange position.
"I love you," he said, kissing her. But the moment he realized how nearly on top of her he was, blush lit up his cheeks, and he flumped to the side. "Sorry..."
