Isadora bit her lower lips. She knew that Tibarn was right. The man was too powerful to be taken down easily and it seemed that Nino was in no harm...
However, she couldn't help herself feel useless. It was in her veins to protect the people. It was in her code of knight and she swore to not only protect the people, but also the country. How could she handle it, acting as common folk, when this issue was challenging her oath as a knight?
Not letting go of the topic and wanting to show how strong she could be, Isadora looked up at the King Hawk with bold and determine look in her eyes. "I thank you for your concern about myself, but I cannot just sit back and wait till the times come. As a knight, it is my sworn duty to protect the land and my people."
Isadora then pulled her forearm and turned around, not letting Tibarn see the dark look in her face. "I know this man is too powerful to be beaten. But if we can negotiate with him in a temporary truce, maybe there must be some way that we can agree on. After all, not every battle must be won by fighting and violence. Besides, if this man is the king and has not caused harm to Nino, maybe he would call a truce and listen to our negotiation as a king. He can't be as terrible as Madriana and her morphs."

"Well that's good, at least nothing major's happened." Partially hearing Isadora, she walked over. "Hello Isadora, Hello Tibarn. What is going on? I heard something about the king..?"

Valter yawned as he rose from his bed. After letting himself wake up for a few minutes, he entered the main room. "Good morning..." The sleepy wyvern knight declared.

Tibarn paused, then sighed. "Isadora, I can't let you go out there by yourself. It's too dangerous, even just to get to the castle, and we have no idea what this guy is like... What he's capable of. We'll wait for the firewood crew to come back. Then you and I will go and see if we can have an audience with this king. Alright?"

"It's true we don't know what this man is capable of, but we haven't been attacked by him since he drove us out of the castle." Isadora commented with a strain of frustration in her voice. This king was unpredictable to her. She hated it when things were out of control.
When she heard Tibarn's suggestion, Isadora let out a long sigh and replied. "Alright, we'll wait for the firewood crew to come before departed to get the audience with him. If he is the king, he would have to perform his duty as the king. If not.... then we need to do some more background info on him. After all, we're not sure why he came to kidnap Nino and what he's planning to do with her."

Just discussion my butt Fiora thought, but if Isadora doesn't want me to know anything thenthat's just fine; it's just one less thing to worry about I guess. "Hello Valter" Fiora said when she walked through the main room towards the kitchen - intent on getting more tea. "Would anyone like some peppermint tea?"

Why does this seem to happen around each holiday? and why hasn't Rath shown up to save Nino? Shouldn't he be feeling something, like that she is in danger?

"Ok Valter hang on just a minute" walks into the kitchen and put a teabag into a cup. Water is boiling so she pours the water into the cup and hands it to Valter. "Watch out, it's pretty hot. Don't burn yourself."

Rhys reclined lazily on a sofa, one leg on the sofa itself, the other draped over the side.
"You know," he spoke up, gazing at his mug of tea, "I'd been looking into this Leander earlier today. Nothing of him exists, but--there was an ancient kingdom in this very area that fell apart when its king suddenly disappeared. Nothing revealed how he managed to do that. However... the time frame of that kingdom... this is the interesting part...
Was nine hundred years ago. If the man we saw a few days ago was indeed the king of that past kingdom, he lived a very long time, don't you think?"

Amelia idly sat on the couch as well, although she sat properly, both legs in front of her. At Rhys' mention of King Leander, Amelia turned her eyes towards him, keeping her face inclined towards her knees. "An ancient kingdom that used to be here..." she murmured. Amelia sipped her tea. The peppermint taste turned sour at his mention of nine-hundred years ago.
"That can't be possible...! Unless he's part-dragon or he's a mamkute, then he couldn't be that king!" Amelia said in shock. She paused. "Could he...?"

Amelia frowned. "Nine-hundred years ago... do you think he's delusional and thinks this is still his country?" she commented. Amelia looked up and over at NoMetal, then Rhys. "It'd explain why he took over the castle."
[[I think at one point in the first battle he was like "I AM KING LEANDER" or something. I'll go check. XD
