"Neener neener." Sora taunted, jabbing at Inuyasha's side. Inuyasha let out a growl and lunged for Sora, tackling him down. Ryou pushed himself and got to watch as they knocked over a table, breaking the lamp that had been on it.

Sora squirmed out from under Inuyasha and gave Rei an apologetic look. "Sorry about the lamp." He said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head, which had connected with the small table.

Rei sighed "It's ok" Rei said and walked over. She picked up the table and then started to pick up the larger pieces of glass setting then on the table.

"Sora..." Riku said in a somewhat scolding tone, then just sighed in exasperation. "You're just like a little kid. Can't you grow up?"
Sora looked more than a little hurt at these words. "Hey, you used to like playing around as much as I do. It wasn't that long ago!"
Riku rolled his eyes, sitting down on the couch. "Yeah, if you count two years 'not that long ago'."
"What?" Sora looked momentarily confused. "It's been only about a year since we got off the island, Riku." Riku looked just as confused as him, and Sora realized that his friend looked much older than before. Much more mature.

"You are both from diffrent time lines." Rei pointed out as she continued to clean up the broken lamp "Ow" She muttered sucking on her now bleeding thumb.

"Oh. Right." Sora suddenly felt very childish-- maybe Riku was right. But, hey, Inuyasha was over fifty years old and he didn't get scolded. Ryou didn't count, because he was always quiet and serious. "Well, anyway, Riku, there's nothing wrong with goofing off a little." Riku just rolled his eyes and grumbled.

Inuyasha had been eying Ryou and then sprung on the boy as he got up. Ryou let out a frightened cry as he hit the ground. "Hey, Ryou." Inuyasha said casually as he sat on the boy's chest. "I thought of something. You know that dark realm your evil spirit sent us to? We could go there to fight. Me and Sora, I mean. That way we wouldn't tear apart the house or get seen."

Rei came back in just in time to hear the question. Setting the garbage back down she walked over and grabbed him by the ear as she pulled him of ryou. "That isent the safest place to be for a long ammout of time.And dont sit on people."

Riku had perked up a little. "What dark realm?" He asked, wondering if they were talking about the Realm of Darkness. He had been stuck there for a while.
"Shadow Realm." Ryou clarified, sitting up and giving Rei a grateful look. "It's this... place. Um..."
"His evil spirit can send people there. Their hearts, I think. They become lifeless shells." Sora said, putting it in terms he knew Riku would understand. Both boys gave a small, almost unnoticable shudder as they though about how that had happened to Kairi. "I was there-- we all were-- for a brief time. It's like the Realm of Darkness, I think."

Rei let go of inuyasha and offered ryou a hand to help him up "Yes so it's not a place you just go to. It's a place you aviod."

"Doesn't sound that bad." Riku said cheerfully, and Sora shook his head disapprovingly.
Ryou took Rei's hand, muttering a word of thanks. He looked down at the Twister game, then asked hopefully, "We're not still playing, are we?"
