He watched with an unamused look on his face.
"Come on Chloe, where has all your sarcasm gone? Surely it wasn't all in your arms..perhaps there is some in your legs as well?"
He very well couldn't do the same things to her legs as he did to her arms, they were in a different position. He thought for a moment before smiling. He cracked the knuckles in both of his hands and plunged them into her thighs. After feeling around for a moment he found her bones and he wrapped his fingers around them. Under normal circumstances blood would've been pouring from her entrance wounds, but his cold aura quickly froze the blood before it could come out.

Chloe panted heavily, letting out a slight groan and whimper every now and then, the pain still fresh in her mind. She was about to let out a retort when she felt something plunge into her flesh, then a freezing cold sensation. She let out another wail and bites her teeth into her lip, causing it to bleed and her mouth to fill up with blood. By reflex she starts to cough, letting the blood drip down her chin to her already blood stained uniform. She couldn't even think coherently already..the pain was too much and the cold REALLY didn't help.
She could already feel herself slipping away, little by little, desperation already entering her mind, to just give up and let this end...

Jin helped apply pressure to Chloe's wounds, muttering lowly to herself in Japanese. She's seen wounds as severe as this before, but she never had to deal with them. Jin's heightened senses detected a sudden decline in Chloe's current state, snapping her to attention immediately as she lay a hand to the girls face. "Chloe? Chloe, you have to wake up...don't give up, stay with us...!" She urged, eyes sparking with a small fear. "Don't you dare give up!"

"Chloe... I never saw you as the one to give up that easily..."
A familiar voice broke through the somewhat frantic air.
Allen perched himself on a lamppost, and stared down at the three girls... There was something much different about this Allen; of course. He was a shadow; Infected by Shift's virus, he had slowly turned into what he is now-
Sapphire eyes shone brightly through snow hair- pulled back into a pony-tail. The small dragon wings that had hung limply out of his back now were strongly outstretched in an amazing 18 foot wingspan. The blood since had been washed off, and now the true colours stood out. White skin, fading into a light blue at the base of his wings.
((I'm guessing Chloe is stuck In Domo's dreamish area..? ))
He stared at the sleeping Chloe, and frowned a bit; guilt pouring into his head as his face turned into a sad expression. "Finally got a hold of her..."
If only he had been more careful around Shift, he could have been there to help these girls-
His thoughts broke as the strong sent of blood regained control over him. It's the reason he came. The small and fragile heartbeats of them played in his ears and he let out a small smirk.
"You want out of here... No...?"
Stop it- I can't hurt them--!
His smirk faded into a soft smile. "I... Can help you."
No- Even bing around them is dangerous- This urge is getting way too hard to get rid of-
He folded his wings and crouched on the post, staring at the humans.

As the familiar voice sliced through the air, Jin instantly became tense, feelings of dread washing over her. In an instant she was turned and facing Allen, crouched dangerously low in a protective stance with razor-sharp feathers of bone within her hand, ready to be thrown while the other hand helped hold her child self, as if trying to hide her, in a way. Her silver eyes glared, glinting oddly in the dim light as she slowly shifted her crouched stance into a standing one.
"Allen..." She called out softly, though from her stiff stance, it was clear she knew something was wrong with him...she couldn't attack him, though. Jin knew this all too well...Allen was important to Kanda, hurting him would hurt Kanda...she couldn't do that, not even to save her own life. Jin shifted her younger and blood covered self to her other arm, a part of her hoping it didn't seem strange to them that she was carrying around an injured and comatose child that looked exactly like her. Esme hadn't noticed due to the fact she had been shielding the girl with her body, but she was now in the open...she didn't exactly know what to say when asked to explain. Jin had heard Allen offering to help them out, but something seemed off about it...conflicting personalities and opinions...? She couldn't tell, but she didn't like the vibe she was getting from him...
"Allen..." She started softly, her eyes now out of the death glare she had fixed on him a moment ago, "I may be sounding selfish, because Esme and Chloe probably want to get out of here...but if you can really help us, I want you to take us to Kanda and the others. I know I felt them around, and I'm willing to follow as soon as we get Chloe treated...does that sound reasonable...?" She asked, her expression unreadable as her eyes seemed piercing. It was clear that if he argued on the point of finding the others and just helping them get out alive, she'd be firm in her objective. Kanda was more important than even her own life, and she was tired of seeing blood a death...she'd help everyone leave in one piece, even if it killed her.

Allen glanced down at the bloodied body of the child, the Shadow instincts wanting to suck the remaining life out of the group. His vision blurred slightly as he swayed, the smell of blood overpowering him.
"Ugh.."
Kanda's name didn't help his state either- He promised himself he would stay away from the group, but here he was- He had almost strangled Kanda when he had first turned into a Shadow, hearing Kanda's soft, fluttering heartbeat.
The feel of his long fingers wrapping around the man's slender and fragile neck-
No... Stop those thoughts!
Pausing after regaining his vision he looked at her again. "I can't guarantee that I will get you there.. Alive."
The words hovered in his mouth before coming out. "Kanda's still alive...?"
His voice had a relief sound to it and he smiled slowly.
He had curled up in a dark building for the longest time; feeding on the souls of rats to hold back the will to kill his friends. The rats got less and less though... And he found himself lead by the faint heartbeats of the humans below him.
Torn between two sides. Oh how much he wanted to help! His friends were suffering below him, and here he was, holding back the urge to make them suffer more. He was relieved though... That his friends were still alive.

She pulled her smaller self closer to her instinctively once Allen laid eyes upon her, but Jin replied nonetheless.
"From what I could tell...yes, Kanda is still alive." She said lowly, glancing back at Chloe's form to study her injured body. Allen was reacting strangely, from the smell of blood she guessed. He wasn't himself, that was clear from the wings upon his back, but there was still a hint of the old Allen she barely knew in there.
"And, if you can get us there, I'm willing to follow...mind you, though, if you should try anything, nothing is holding Yuukan back from taking over...I won't hurt you because of your importance to Kanda...but she would, without a doubt, kill you mercilessly..." She muttered, suddenly motioning for him to come down, or at least closer so she could see him better.
"I also want to ask you a few things...if you don't mind, of course."

Allen frowned a bit. Getting closer to the group would mean closer to the blood... Closer to the sound of their breathing- their being. It was too dangerous.
"I can't come any closer-" He frowned and held onto the lamppost, containing his murdering thoughts within. "Lest I may attack..." He finished.
His heart lifted up. Kanda was alive... Good. He wasn't all too surprised. Kanda was strong... Something like this was a challenge, but Kanda could overcome it.
He hoped at least.
He laughed upon hearing her reason for not hurting him. "So that's the only reason you wouldn't hurt me...? Because I'm important to Kanda...?" A pause and he continued. "Gee, thanks..." He forced out another small laugh, and sighed a bit. This girl really only thinks about Kanda...
Another pause.
"What do you have to ask me? I'll answer to the best of my abilities."

Seeing Allen's eyes she frowned slightly. This want the Allen she had known and it clicked in to her mind as she heard his last Words. "This place is a place where your nightmares come to life... Where shadow's like us survive on the lost." A slight gasp came out of her lips. Where Nightmares came true... She thought going to slight panic as her heat beat faster. "Nightmares.." She whispered pushing the panic away from her voice and moving it back to her head. It wasnt time to panic evern when she immagend her nightmares waiting for her in a cornor. Saving Chloe was more important right now.

Her eyes widening, Jin stopped breathing, if only for a moment, while her thoughts ran wild. Her nightmares...wasn't it bad enough she had to relive them every night, wake up shaking and screaming from the images that constantly lingered from them? Now they were to come to life, kill her if they wished it. Was her life meant to constantly be this cursed with bad luck and pain...? Settling her thoughts and letting her eyes go soft, expression partially blank, Jin uttered a small sigh.
"I see...thank you, Allen, but I forgot my other questions for the moment...so please try to be patient..." She said, barely loud enough to be heard. Without nother word, she turned to Chloe's bloody and battered form, bending down again. A part of her wished she was actually in her uniform instead of her nightgown, just so she had something that could be torn and used as bandages. The upside to the current state of her fallen comrade, was that the blood was actually slowing to a stop...she'd be able to apply to ointment she had hidden within the young her's kimono soon.
"Bloods almost stopped...Esme, help me but a little bit more pressure on the wounds, please..."

How long had he been like this?
…
Entrapped, enslaved and /damned/ by his curse?
To feel his life literally pulled away from him, his body as strong as ever but his soul becoming dry and brittle.
…
He wanted to be free… Before it was too late…
Before the last petal fell…
Kanda opened his eyes, groggily and tiredly blinking his eyes. He tried to get up but hissed when pain flared throughout his body. Much more aware he surveyed his surroundings. He was still in the other world, he noted sourly, and…. Pinned to the wall? He felt sick when he saw the nails that were hammered crudely and uncaringly into his wrists and hands and into the wall. The skin had already blackened and he could no longer feel or move his hands. How long had he been here?
“Hello poppet, finally awake?”
Shift smiled, showing too much teeth for good will before the ends curled up, stretching the skin around his bugging eyes. Behind him was an indoor swimming pool, its waters blackened by the same curse upon this other world. “Had a nice nap I presume? /No/? Well Don’t worry about that, you’ll be sleeping just perfectly well in just a while.”
“What the ******** do you mean by that?” Kanda spat, trying to hide the fear that was building in his gut.
“Simply /Delicious/~ Your fear… You’ll be drowning in it when I’m done with you, eh?” Shift faded with a laugh and Kanda’s eyes washed black, his head reeling back before an agonized scream was unwillingly torn from his lips, his memories, his Goddamned memories! They were playing over and over again fresh as the day they had happened, the images, experiences and sorrow magnified with Shift’s help. A dry sob broke from his lips as his eyes stared blindly ahead. He didn’t want this, he would rather die!
…
So be it…
…
Kanda felt himself stand, aided by invisible hands before his arms were wrenched from the wall, his chest heaved with silent sobs, the tears clearing the grit on his face. Against his will he took a step towards the pool. “Oh no no no no No…” He groaned helplessly, still struggling against Shift’s hold.
One step, two, three and four. His throat caught as he descended into the water, fear bubbling frantically in his chest, as if to escape him all together and flee from the water. Of all things, that he feared… he feared drowning… He gasped for breath when the water lapped at his neck before a sudden weight on his back forced him under. He twisted around to see Shift smile pleasantly back at him, his long spindly fingers wrapped around his neck. At first he struggled, before the hands squeezed the rest of the air out of him. With a pang he realized. He was going to die…
Shift laughed when the body below him slowed before going limp, the frantic pulse beneath his hands fade away and finally stop.
Kanda Yu… was dead…

((Whaaaat?! Nuuu, Kandaaa~ Damn you Shift! >_> Interesting end, though...))
Applying pressure with one hand, Jin was silent, lost within her thoughts. A slight movement from the child that held her emotions snapped her back to reality, looking to her younger self. The lotus in her hair withered, blowing away into dust. Pain shot through Jin and forced her to arch her back, her eyes widening as all of her senses were pulled out to the fullest, a life force she knew all too well fading away like a light switched off. The child snapped her eyes open as well before vanishing, Jin bolting to her feet as she closed her eyes and clutched her head in her hands, bending forward to emit an earsplitting scream, tears flowing from her eyes and down her face in crimson rivers.
She shouldn't have done this...she shouldn't have gotten attached...Jin felt her sanity quake, Yuukan activating at full power as feathers appeared out of thin air and faded into the ground, gravity slamming down upon her as she fell to her knees, still screaming.
The pain and the fear were unbearable...this could have been an illusion, some nightmare screwing with her head, but it felt far too real. Jin's scream died off to a sobbed wail, Yuukan deactivating as the poor girl bawled her eyes out. She knew she had to be strong, but she couldn't...not after losing someone so important to her again. She was breaking down.

Esme did as Jin asked her too and put presure on Chloes wound before her head jerked up once sensing Yuukan activate and hearing Jins cries. Why was Jin suddenly acting this was was all she asked herself. Her green eyes watched her friend in shook. She feel into a silence once Jin sobbed. Everything Jin did replayed back in her mind and soon her eyes widen a thought of blood went to her head but not Chloe's and a longing as well as attachment entered her heart. Now she understod what was happening..Jin had just lost someone again and she was crushed.
