Kon was about to retaliate before the boy dropped to the ground. He paused a moment as he could hear the kid's heart stop all together.
"Whoa- hey!"
He landed lightly next to the body and knelt down. Conner didn't need to check his pulse to know he was dead.
Robin emerged slowly from the alleyway. Strength began to return to him, at least enough. His first reaction was to look up at the clearing sky, but his gaze instead focused infront of him. Kon was kneeling next to a boy that lay limp on the ground.
"What...happened?"
"I- I don't know."
Conner looked up at the young titan with the most confused expression Tim had ever seen his friend make.
"He just dropped."

"He's dead, is what your saying right?"
Gar walked up to the guy who had killed the demon appearing and then falling dead as quickly as he came.
"I think that we should check on Kai. Make sure that Castel didn't give her any trouble."
Gar pulled out his communicator.
"Kai, This is Beast Boy. The last demon's are defeated and we are heading your way."
"Hey Gar it's you...I can see that. It's nice to see sunlight again and I'm a Gotham hero, that's saying something."
"Nice to hear. Stay put and we'll be there over and out."
Garfield put away his communicator stepping away from the kid who dropped to the ground. He started walking back towards where Kai was when the demon disappeared, like the others along with the kid.

Kon stood and looked over to the other titans. He followed after Gar as the light filtered more through the smog. He breathed deeply, feeling like his own energy was boosted, which he could clearly credit to the sun.
Robin followed the other two and looked around at the damage. In less than a day, so much chaos ensued in this city...

Oracle responded to Kai's message, "Thank goodness! You have one of the assassins? And which Titans are with you?"

"Oracle, right now it's myself, Robin, Garfield Logan, and Superboy."
Kai responded happily through the communicator. For a moment she observed the sun as it began to lighten everything including her mood. The warmth of the sun meaning more to her now than it ever did.
"Kai... are you okay?"
Garfield came around the corner of the street that they left on. He walked hastily towards her getting up to the assassin who laid unconscious on the ground. Slowly reaching down he touched his wrist to see if he was okay. Gar turned to look strait at Kai who stood there communicator in hand.
"Did he... try anything while we were gone?"
"No and I am in contact with Oracle right now."
She said. She lied about Castel waking up so as to not worry BB. Kai held up her hand to the side of her neck rubbing it slightly remembering that he had jabbed her in the throat. Luckily the healing factor she had was enough to keep her from becoming short of breath or getting a collapsed trachea. Then she would have really been in trouble.
"Oracle if you could get us teleported to where you are now, that would be great."
Garfield stood up by him. He looked around observing the area since he wasn't where he was when they left. Suddenly his eyes caught a glisten of sunlight off of a needle. It was the needle that had the sedative in it and it was used. It was obvious to him at that moment that she did have to fight him, but to his relief she was able to stop him on her own. Castel laid silently on the ground defeated impressing Gar, the idea that in this world she has been able to still do good work even without all the extra help. He knelt down picking up Castel, slinging him over his shoulders. He knew that they had to get him tied up again, and hopefully he wouldn't get away the next time he wakes up.

Oracle voice sounded a bit relieved, "That's good. I'll tell Nightshade to open a portal, but I might send you to Central City. Though Dr. Gideon has been captured and the neurotoxin secured, Agent Quinn and his associates captured Starfire. Have you heard what happened to ... several Titans?"

Kai paused a moment looking over to the two standing there remembering what she was told earlier and what she learned from Castel's memories. A thought of sorrow crossed her mind for a moment, knowing that there are more events happening than what just went on there. Castel was still an assassin and still intends to work for those who would otherwise harm innocent heroes. Heroes whose only jobs are to save people. She waited a moment before answering Oracle's question while she thought about everything that happened before they left the tower.
"Yea... There are government assassins. I know they captured Starfire and I also know that they are killing heroes when they can. Also can you please send Robin and I to The Batcave? I am low on utilities and desperately need to stock up, even though my stuff probably isn't at this universe's Batcave somethings are better than nothing."
She sighed a little. Her stuff was made specifically for her and her belt was nearly empty. Hopefully there would be tools that would easily fit into her belt that she could use.

Oracle's voice came back through the commmunicator, "Sounds like you've had a successful interrogation. I'll ..... Have to let Nightshade know where the Batcave is.... Actually, if you have something of the assassin's that I can hack, I should be able to track all of their operatives."

Tim had followed after Gar until they reached Red Cardinal. He walked up and listened to her conversation with Babs... this made him pull out his own communicator and check its power. To his surprise it was fully operational... after Oracle's latest statement, he tuned in.
"Oracle, we have the assassin's communicator. For what it's worth."
He was happy to hear the confidence and power of his own voice return as the traces of the city-wide dome disappeared. Robin exchanged glances with the other Titans. He could see the absence of the dome was giving them the same effect, especially the Kryptonian.
Conner stood next to his friends and closed his eyes. He bathed in the sunlight that filtered over their heads, and listened to the others. His strength was returning, along with the heightening to his other senses.

A portal of deep shadow appears beside a large boulder extending from the shadow there. A man dressed head to toe in black walks through the aperture -- his features hidden from view from his gasmask, fedora and trenchcoat, "Anybody here needing a lift?"
Behind him, the portal remained open.

Following through the portal,"The amazing Iceman is at your se....." Bobby never completed the statement as he hit the dirt again.
Not worrying to see who was around, he got up.
"We really need to work on our entrances."

"Hey doc..."
Kai said as she leaned to one side. Behind Nightshade appeared a man, someone she had never seen before but his personality was somewhat amusing to her. The way his skin glimmered in the light, reminded her of how an ice sculpture would glimmer. She pondered to herself for a moment in curiosity. "Is this guy for real, is he really made of ice? hence Iceman or..." She crossed her arms standing strait up.
"Doc... Nightshade, I think we might be all set."
She turned to confirm with the others that they were ready to go. Not that she wanted to leave Jump City, it was a second home to her. It reminded her of Central City almost, minus the morning fog and criminals who mainly centered on trying to get around the Titan's rather than speedsters. She liked the change of places many times, but now what she wanted most was to be home, with people who know her. Her world where the her tower would still be standing. This place was so far from what she knew, the new people such as Nightshade and the Popsicle that stood behind him.
Gar watched the portal open he had never seen these people before. He looked over to see the other titan's reactions to the man. When Kai had mentioned Doc, he wondered what she meant by that. He still kept Castel in over his should keeping a firm stance so as to not let go of him. When for a long moment of silence which probably was brief but only felt that way because of lack of energy Gar saw that Kai tried to gesture to him that she was ready to follow the stranger. Gar stepped forward his foot set heavily on the ground under the assassins weight combined with his own.
"I am ready to go wherever he takes us... the sooner we go the better since Castel won't be out for very long."

Nightshade looked over and just shook his head at Bobby, "Not cool by the way." The veteran vigilante turned toward the Titans, "Alright, whenever you're ready... As soon as you tell me where you need to go."
