Lore smiled looking up at the sky allowing the sun shine down on him. He nodded in agreement.
"It is good to to feel the sun instead of filling a room with fairy lights," Lre admitted, "It's been too dark for too long."

Elnara giggled and held up one hand, making a little fireball that floated just above her palm.
"I could clear away the snow in front of the living room window," she offered, "though it's probably keeping the room rather insulated. But it would let in a lot more light - and we'd be able to see the sunset again, even if only a little bit."

"It's fine," Lore assured her, "Besides it's better to have the window well insulated, it's a lot of glass for the heat to escape."
And while the cold didn't bother him too much, he would rather still have the living room warm. Since that was the room they stayed in the most often.

Elnara smiled and closed her fist, and the fire dissipated into thin air once more.
"All right," she nodded, "but we're going to have to have some light sometime. Natural light, I mean. It's pretty dark and dreary in there lately."
But now she could feel the cold beginning to seep through her cloak beneath her, despite its waterproofness.
"And I think it's time for me to head back in," she admitted reluctantly, sighing. "My bottom's getting cold."
She took the blanket off of herself and Lore and folded it to one side, then tried to get her feet under her again. The wood beneath her feet was slippery, however, and she grimaced and sat down again.
"Hand up?" she asked Lore, blushing faintly.

"Well... in the other windows if it was possible some how," Lore mused, "It's just that is such a large glass plane to have heat to escape from..."
And it could become the coldest when the fire wasn't burning.
"Let me help you up," Lore got off the ground and held a hand out for Elnara to take.

"Thanks," Elnara murmured, taking Lore's hand and pulling herself to her feet. "It's slippery out here ... more so now that we've melted some of the snow."
She brushed off the back of her cloak, then picked up the blanket and hung it over her arm.
"I think I'm ready for that nap," she smiled faintly at Lore, heading carefully towards the door. "And a lot of blankets ..."

Keeping a hold of her hand Lore led Elnara back, "However many blankets you want," he told her with a smile.
He opened the door for her and let her go through first.

Elnara giggled as she went inside, kicking her boots off and hanging up her cloak on a hook.
"All of them," she grinned impishly at Lore as she waited for him to do the same. "That is, unless you'd like to come and nap with me ..."
She was teasing him, of course, but it was always fun, whether he accepted or not.

"I'm not really tired," Lore chuckled, "But I can read in bed if you want...."
Besides it was a good chance to just be really close to her. Besides there wasn't much else to do besides sleep, read and write.
"How about that..."

Elnara's eyes lit up brightly, and she couldn't help but giggle softly.
"I'd love that," she smiled up at him, slipping her arms around his waist. "Very much."
Warmth and nearness ... it just didn't get any better than that.
She went up on her tiptoes and kissed him on the chin. "You go ahead and get your book," she murmured softly, squeezing his hand gently. "I'll meet you in the bedroom." And with a final promising look, she let go of his hand and headed off towards their room.

Lore smiled widely as he headed towards the living room where he left the current book he had been reading. The book was well worn from use, he had read before but there were still things to glean from him. Book in hand he headed to the bedroom.

Elnara didn't bother undressing: it was only going to be a nap, and the layers would keep her warmer anyways. There was nothing for her to prepars, nothing to get ready, and so as soon as she made it to the bedroom and threw one extra blanket on the bed and pulled the blankets back, then lay down and pulled the blankets up over her shoulders. She lay on her side, watching the door, and waited for Lore to come and join her.

Lore appeared a moment later with book in hand.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long," he told her.
He made his way into the room and slipped in beside her. promptings his back up so he could read.

Elnara smiled and shook her head slightly, moving a bit closer to Lore so that she would be warmer.
"Not long," she assured him softly, pulling the blanket up over her shoulder again. "Not too long, anyways."
Their time outside had helped her to calm down again, and she was no longer as impatient as she had been even just an hour previous. The fresh air had done her a lot of good ... she was glad that they had gone out.

Lore smiled softly putting an arm around her shoulder.
"That's good," he settled in and made himself comfortable it was certainly warmer than say reading the living room. NOt that the living room wasn't warm, but being with someone was warmer.
