Do y'all get Veteran's Day off this week? I think people will be especially aware of our vets this year, so soon after that terrible shooting at the military base in Texas.

Christmas and The (day before) New Years Day.
Sadly they make us work Thanksgiving night. But they do give us all a meal for Thanksgiving and the other Holidays we are working.

That's nice your employer gives you a Thanksgiving meal. Since you're off during the day I guess you can do a feast with your family. Lucky you -- double feasting. twice as much to be thankful for.

Yeah, usually the Thanksgiving meal is the best one they give us. And yeah, 2 awsome meals in one day, I dont go hungry on Thanksgiving. lol

If the weather continues to be good I think I'll do some Thanksgiving shopping at Whole Foods today. I'll be a quorn roast. It's just like white meat turkey as I vaguely remember it from a looong time ago.

Sounds Yummy right now. Turkeys run around wild here in our backwoods, sometimes have to watch out during particular times of the year not to run over them. lol
