Elf Princess Flannery Quin introduced herself to Alumina, and Alumina agreed it was a good idea for them to team up. thought the morning and noon the two fought monsters and creatures of all sorts. but in the evening Quin and Alumina came across a large structure. it was a giant cube with mystical writing written all over it. "it looks like a tomb!" Alumina said energetically. "it looks like trouble." Quin corrected. "I think its a dungeon, we should enter it and beat the boss! I bet we will get new skills!" Alumina pranced up to the entrance and looked at it curiously wondering how to open it. There was an eerie black mist leaking out of the large crack in the box, and the noise of something pacing around inside. Someone's... Outside?, he thought as excitement built up in him. He dashed across his small confinement and shot his hand out of the hole squirming it around trying to grab whatever is out there. ~~~~~~~~~ A large black werewolf like hand shot out of the large opening and thrashed about with it's sharp nails, trying to grasp, or rip whatever was in it's range.

Alumina squeaked and fell back, and Quin pulled her away from it.
"what are you." Quin demanded
"Its the dungeon boss!" Alumina proclamed

Akuma scurried out of Chrono's arms, "Wher- Lucid?!" she squeaked, with a little more fire than before.
"I told you, Tsume is retrieving him and he'll be back soon," Chrono repeated and went to grab Akuma again.
She jumped back and lost her balance, falling to the floor, then crawled for the door.
"Lady! I highly advise against that!" Chrono warned, as he neared her.
She stuck her tongue out at him and unlatched the door, hobbled as fast as her legs would take her. Tears blinded her vision as her heart began pounding. she had never felt so threatened or scared in her life, but when she saw Tsume's wings.
Tsume Felt his lady in great distress and turned to see Chrono stalking her calmly. He glared and took flight, intending to fight Chrono if need be.
Akuma fell again and began crawling, trying to call Lucid's name.
Chrono began closing in, and Tsume landed right behind Akuma, "Continue at your own pace Lady Akuma, I'll be sure you make it to your Husband." He drew his sword off his back and eyed up Chrono.

both Quin and Alumina looked looked at the hand in horror.
"well do what he says"Alumina says
Quin cautiously approaches the furry hand and extends her hand for him to grasp.

Lucid runs over to Akuma, scoops her up and runs away with her.

The hand slammed into hers and grasped it surprisingly lightly. the pad of the thumb stroke her palm. "You have very nice hands..." purred the monster in the box.

Akuma pulled Lucid close, "What's go--on?" she cried as she shivered in his arms.
Chrono looked at the seriousness in Tsume's eyes and stopped, "Keep track of her Tsume..."
Tsume nodded and followed Lucid from a distance.

"we have to get away" lucid said as he leaped over a fallen tree. "if he finds me, he'll hurt me, and he'll hurt you."

Quin patted the monsters hand with her other hand. "um.. what furry hands you have." she said warily
both the girls had expected Quin's hand to be ripped off.

"Wha-d- you mean?" she croaked as she shuttered from the cold, "Chr-no -as him sealed to a cha-r..."

the hand released hers and pulled at the opening for a while. It cracked a bit more and was now wide enough for her to be pulled through. the hand reopened in a welcoming way, "Come in," the voice growled.

Quin looked back at Alumina for an answer, and alumina pushed her in.
"Alumi-!" Quin tripped on her way in and fell to the cold ground. Alumina sliped in an stepped over her. "so how do we defeat this dungeon?" Alumina asked

Lucid still looked frightened but he had stopped running. "i think we should just play it safe" he says to her and sits on a mossy bolder.

"Dungeon?" the beast asked as his cold nose touched the tip of hers, he sniffed her briefly, then roared, "You're not the one i was talking to!!"
something hit the wall and made the whole box shake, then the monster fell to his knees, "I'm sorry..."

Akuma sat down on his lap and smiled, "Everythin- fine... I'll pro-ect you." she touched the side of his face and kissed him softly.

Alumina clasped her hands over her ears. "you know your an awfully scary dungeon boss" she said calmly "Alumina i dont know if hes a boss.." Quin pointed out "your right, i think hes a companion! So what do we have to do for you to join our party?" ~~ Lucid held Akuma tightly, "im sorry i should bring you back, your in no condition to be running about in the woods" Lucid cradled her in his arms and he started back to the manor.

Tsume caught up with him and smiled, "Need a lift?"

The monster smiled, his white teeth glowing slightly in the darkness, "I need to be freed from this prison i created for myself." he looked out the hole and sighed, "I used to be a child of the light, but a broken heart clouded my judgment and i wound up so distressed that i sealed myself in here, and soon became corrupt by darkness. I cannot be freed from this hellish prison until i return to a semi normal state; a balance of good and evil."

"Oh you poor thing" Alumina stroked his arm. "Ill get you out of here" she said with a smile that seamed to brighten the darkness
