Arne sighed when she asked what was wrong with his head. "It's fine now... I just hit my head on the table earlier when I was under it. That's all. I got cut up and then Nathan helped me." He chewed thoughtfully on the mint and looked at the ceiling. There were little carvings in the plaster. Trying to change the subject, he randomely pointed at the carvings. "Have you ever seen those before?"

Nathan began to cry, but Derrik wrapped his arms around him. For some odd reason, Nathan stopped. He couldn't cry, he was far to shocked. Nathan looked at Derrik. He couldn't move again. It was odd. It just shocked him so much to see him react so fast. He actually cared. He actually loved him. Nathan wrapped his arms around him. "I'm sorry...I'm such a baby..." Nathan trailed off.

He avoided the question behind the question so I just played along and went with it. Looking up at the ceiling and viewing the detail in craftsmanship I replied the only answer possible. "No, I just came here recently. About your other question, I'm majoring in nursing. It's not something I'm to into but it's a job that will always have an opening."

Arnold relaxed as Lila allowed him to change the subject, but shuddered when she told him her major. "Ah, how... quaint?" He replied, trying to find the right word. He hated blood, and anything that came out of people. A medical field would never be right for him.

"Stop it, Nathan. Don't you deserve someone who wants to be seen with you? Someone who will hold your hand just to be close to you?" Derrik's heartbeat was too fast; he took note of it and immediately dismissed it. He released Nathan but only to gently wipe away the tears that had spilled. He kissed each of Nathan's cheeks. "You have nothing to be sorry about. Not a single thing." Derrik looked into Nathan's eyes and realized he was holding his breath. It had shocked him badly to see Nathan's hurt and know he caused it.

Once again, I notice him being uncomfortable. I got up and putted away the leftovers and started to do dishes. "So, are you sure there's nothing you wanna talk about?" After I rinsed the soap off of the last dish I went over to him and flicked my hand at him, which in turn flicked water onto him. Running behind a chair far from him, I bent down and peeked at him.

Nathan took in a stagering breath. He did that a lot when he cried. "Okay...I'll stop." Nathan said. He bit his upper lip nervously. He looked at Derrik's eyes. They were fixed on Nathan's. It made him nervous and unconfortable. He began to fidget and look away from him. "What?" Nathan said between sniffs.

She's knows something's up... Arne sighed and walked over to her. "Fine, I'll tell you, I would've needed to tell someone eventually... But you have to promise to keep it a secret. Ok?" He sat down in the chair across from her and waited for her responce, slowly biting his fingernails away. He wiped the water out of his face and wiped it on his pants, leaning back in tha chair.

Derrik slowly released the breath he had been holding then takes Nathan's hand in his. He lifted the hand up to kiss the back of it, then gave Nathan a small smile. "Let us try this again, shall we?" he said softly before leading Nathan down the stairs, hands interlocked. Someone would almost certainly see, but what of it? He had not hoped to keep his secret forever, had he?

Nathan smiled when he kissed his hand and nodded his head in response to his question. They walked down the steps, hand in hand, and Nathan felt happy again. When the got to the kitchen, he blushed and smiled shyly, but he didnt' let go of the hand. Infact, he gripped it tighter.

Mason walked in the door of the living room thoroughly exhausted from two sessions with her hiphop director and a ballet class, a session with her vocal instructor, not to mention mentally tired from two hours of Trigonometry and one of U.S. History. No one would have any idea how happy she was that the weekend was rapidly approaching. She waved to Lila as she passed by the kitchen, and at Arnold as she walked through the living room to head upstairs.
She stripped down in order to take a shower and wash away the day's stress. She remained in the water for about 20 minutes, then jumped out and grabbed her big fuzzy towel.
"Wet," she sighed. She had completely forgot about the late night pool party until now, not only beause of her wet towel, but because of her being overly exhausted. She sighed and used a smaller towel to dry herself off, then pulled on a slip and short dress over her undergarments and headed back downstairs, almost falling down on the couch.

As I was about to reply to Arnnie, Nate and Rick entered holding hands. My heart tugged a bit but Nate was so happy. Turning back to Arnnie I replied, "You can come to my room later and tell me all about you major. Hi you guys! What took you people so long? I even made pasta." I went to the fridge and heated up the food. "Can anyone tell me which room is mine before I head out and shower?"

Nathan smiled at Lila's reaction. It made him happy. "Uh, just take whatever room. Except for the one that has the attached bathroom with mine. Thats Derriks." Nathan said proudly. He smiled brightly, too.

Derrik chuckled at Lila as she went to the fridge. "What took us so long? Well, you did tell us to get a room. Mmm, pasta. I love pasta." Lila was too good for Derrik's usual analysis; he had looked right at her and could not tell she had a negative reaction to his entry with Nathan. "Arnold, how are you feeling? Is your head alright now?" He was tempted to check for himself, but he remembered how little Arnie liked to be touched. Luckily, Nathan did not seem to mind being touched at all. Derrik smiled before he could stop himself; he really did have to stop all of this inner monologuing.
