Vadász just nodded to Roran after Cori spoke, going back to that house to collapse on the bed, listening to his sister singing softly outside the window. He knew that Cori would prefer to be alone, and so granted her that, he remembered how he had been all those years ago. He was awoken when he heard the knock at the door, blinking a little, getting up. He went to the door and opened it, changing into a hawk, perching on her shoulder so that they wouldn't have to worry about finding him a horse or anything. He nuzzled her cheek in a comforting and affectionate way, wings fluttering a little. A nightingale zoomed in out of nowhere and perched on her other shoulder, ignoring the glare that it received from the hawk.

Tuin nodded to Lyn and turned around immediately, walking off towards the direction of Aras, though with the entire army and their need of rest, it would take a few days to get there. However, Selena would hopefully be up and moving by then, though she still would not be able to leave the faerie realm safely yet.

Kantern cocked an eyebrow. "If the pureblood aspect doesn't matter to you, why do you rule as if it does? From what I understand, you always talk of how no one likes you because of your blood. If it doesn't matter to you, why do you fret over it? They still have to do as you say. Your child will be the one to rule after you as well. If blood doesn't worry you, your people worrying about your blood shouldn't worry you either." He didn't understand her at this point. Why whine about something you don't care about? "Your people will follow you, they've proven that. Since your queen, and you could care less about blood, why do they get to choose your mate? You should court anyone you want! Your the frickin queen!" His hands were in the air. Lowering them, he took a breath to calm himself. "I guess I'm just not understanding your situation, nor your people."

Lyn rode up next to Tuin, trying to think of what to say. Deciding on terrain, she opened her mouth, but didn't speak. She had decided against it. Then, as if it never happened she spoke. "What's the terrain like? In Aras, I mean.

Leena lowered her eyes, knowing that her people and her made no sense what-so-ever. She felt a faint smile rise to her lips at his words, she had heard her mother say them a few times. "I'm mostly just afraid that the abuse I suffered as a child would happen to my child if I "watered down" the blood, as they would say, anymore than it already is. Thats the issue." She murmured, keeping her head lowered though her eyes did rest on him. "The nobles will listen to me if they must, but they consider it a shame and a scandal to have a half-breed as their Queen. In order to keep them in check and not revolt, I have to appease them somehow." She finally raised her head to look at him, a hint of sadness in her golden depths. "Besides, for me, my duty has always come before myself. I don't matter, my duty does. So some of my opinions on matters are lost." She said quietly, wondering if that helped him understand at all. Maybe she did just whine, she knew she could be a better Queen than she had been... "Forgive me if I sound childish in this matter. I know what that I shouldn't worry about it." She added, turning her eyes to the snow. Oh she was a fool....

Cori smiled faintly as he tried to comfort her, looking curiously to the nightingale. "So glad to have become a perch." she said dryly, though with a smile. "Priya I'm guessing?" she asked, glancing between the two and noting the glare. Most likely his sister. Without waiting for a reply she headed downstairs, pausing as she reached her mare. "You two're gonna need to get off. I can't say I can get onto her without throwing either of you or hitting you somehow." she said, doubting either would be happy if she did so.

Vadász seemed to nod in answer to her question, cooing softly since he didn't want to screech in her ear. That was never pleasant. He knew from Sarah doing it enough. He glared at his sister again, both of them flying up when she said so. He did dart and smack his sister with a wing, appearing to sigh before swooping around lowly since he knew flying any higher was not advisable.

Cori nodded, easily mounting up and looking up to the two. "Come back down if you want, just don't sit on Tyri's head or neck. Or my own for that moment." she called softly, just above a normal voice. "Tuin, would you tell me how to get there so I can go ahead of the army? Or rather Roran, as I doubt he's going to get away without an arrow through his neck if he speaks to me. And to send word ahead, I can get there faster than the rest of you if you stay with them." she thought, drawing closer to the beast as she thought it.

Vadász just nodded, him and his sister keeping their distances from each other so that they wouldn't draw attention, flying on ahead since it wasn't ever fun riding on someone's shoulders when they were riding a horse.

"Thick forests, but there are some rather large clearings as well. Enough to split the army up into a perimeter and let them practice." Tuin replied. Turning to Cori, he sent her a mental image of the way to Aras, then looked ahead again, to make sure he was going the correct way.

"Thank you, I'll meet you there in a day or two then." Cori replied, spurring Tyri into a canter. The horse could keep this up endlessly, needing only a few short breaks in which Cori would run beside her, giving her a respite from carrying the elf. She kept this up until around two hours after dusk, finally dismounting and finding a small cave. "Vadász, Priya?" she called softly, searching for the two birds in the darkness.

Vadász appeared in human form from the cave, hugging her with a smile. "Gotcha!" He said with a small laugh, kissing her lightly. Priya was hanging back against a wall, waving to Cori from where she was.

Cori smiled, kissing him back and slipping her arms over his neck. She lifted a hand in a faint wave as she saw Priya before looking back to Vadász. "You're a lot cheerful-er. Uh, more cheerful." she corrected herself with a smile, leaning back slightly, just enough to see him without craning her neck.

Vadász chuckled a little, nuzzling noses with her as his arms slipped around her waist. "Yeah well... Having a bubbly sister who can be a pain in the a** does that." He chuckled, glancing to Priya whom just winked and gave Cori a thumbs up. He picked her up and spun her a little before setting her back down with a small laugh.

Cori laughed softly as he spun her, unconsiously tightening her grip. "Yeah, that might be it." she said with a smile as she felt her feet touch the ground again. She glanced at the entrance as she heard a wolf howl, then looking to Vadász. "Normal wolf or Were?" she asked, trusting that he'd be able to tell. She knew they hadn't left Talagand yet, they'd be gone by midday tomorrow though.

Vadász grinned, glancing over as well as he listened. He cocked his head a little, shaking his head. "Hard to tell... Priya?" He looked to his sister then, noticing how her eyes were closed.

"Normal I think." She answered him, pulling her coat a little tighter around herself.
