Alwyn went to help pick him up. " Are you ok." She asked at about the same time as Maria. her own food was forgotten in the process and she couldnt help but feel like it was something she had said.

"Oh..." she mumbled at the explanation, smiling faintly as he spoke again. "And you keep watching my eyes and aren't unsettled by the color. Another first." Aki replied, leaning back in the chair and sipping at the coffee. She smiled, remembering when she was little. She'd unnerved so many people with them. Unlike most girls, she'd never been soft. And her sharpness had never been expected, or her lack of fear of a fight.

Sergey growled as the two girls began to fuss over him. His teeth gritted together, his day was turning out terribly. First that other boy was hitting on Marie....even insulted her at first! and Marie just encouraged him...and then Alwyn and made him think about his parents...and now, his own mutation had caused him to trip up and fall on his a** infront of these.....girls, as well as his competition! and no doubt that damned mutt had seen it as well. He pushed them both away gruffly and struggled to stand up on his own, but managed to do so. He gritted his teeth his entire body tensing up, his feathers fluffing a bit. He turned abruptly and walked out of the cafeteria and back toward his dorms to change.

Great... I make the perfect pet. Tess thought with a sigh. As she asked him why -he- didn't sit with people, he gave her a look. "I make you uncomfortable sitting on the floor, and I eat like an animal." he grunted. "Even where... where I grew up I never ate with the others." He ate some more bacon to keep from saying something stupid. "Anyways, there's always something someone can say to annoy me, which as you know quickly becomes a fight. If you'd like to sit with the others, feel free. I'm almost done with this."
Tess's attention turned to where Sergey was, spotting the bird-boy on the ground and covered in food while two females fussed over him. He gave a wary smirk as his teem-mate stalked off. "Seems like someone can't handle some help..." he murmured, tempted to go after the other male, though he knew it would be rude to leave Arkell there. He finished off his bacon.

Marie simply got out of his way, when she saw he was angry. Embarrassed at herself for whatever she had done to annoy him beyond to trying to help, she simply cleaned up the mess her left. “Thanks, Alwyn… though he’s upset about something and dissed us, it was awfully nice of you to jump up so quickly to help.” Marie admired her for that.
Marie finished cleaning the mess, crossed the room to throw away the trash. On the way back, she was passing by Logan’s table. She stopped a moment and said, “Good morning. I hope you’re feeling better.”

Huilliam laughed a little at her talk of her eyes. " I dont mind, Something about them calms me. They're pretty..." He said, walking off a conversational cliff. Once he realised he turned deep red and sighed. He just ate his meal in silence for a few minutes.

Logan looked up as someone addressed him, and he smiled when he saw it was Marie. He finished getting a drink of his tea before smiling again to her. "Very much so, thank you." he murmured. "Thank you for walking me to my building last night. I hope you got to your dorm well enough?" he'd shifted a little to address her more easily.

Aki paused, somewhat taken aback before she smiled, blushing faintly. "Thanks... But I can't say anyone's ever told me that before. It's usually more along the lines of 'stop looking at me like that'. Then again, you've never seen 'em when I'm about ready to strangle someone or glaring..." she trailed off, looking away. They did get like ice, harsh and cold and unsettling.
((There's a girl at school like that, pale hair and eyes that color. It is kinda weird, but I can't stop watching her eyes.... Such a weird color, and unnerving at times...))

“Yes, I got there in ship shape. Even managed to get into some pajamas, thank you very much,” Marie answered playfully. She fingered one of her bangles while she spoke. “Are you happy with your schedule?

Logan gave a small chuckle at Marie's playful response, and then he nodded lightly at her next question. "Pretty much so... Although I couldn't take a few of the classes I wanted to, there's always next year, right?" he smiled still, and then shifted to take a bite of his breakfast, happening to have a class the first hour and not wanting to miss it. "I did manage to get into a japanese class, though, so I can learn about the language the locals would be speaking on this island if they weren't all geckos."

"Ah. To be honest I thought I embarrassed myself there. I'm not very good with girls. " He chewed slowly and thought slowly.
"Hmmm Well I think since its the first day I can miss my study hall period. Not really much to study. You want to take a walk somewhere cooler than this place? Temperature wise I mean. I miss air conditioning. I may be used to heat but I dont like it. My house used to be reall cool, specially in the cellar."

Aki smiled, nodding. "And I have a tendancy to just ignore it and act like it didn't happen. Anyway, what period is it?" she asked, refering to his study hall. "Oh, and I'm perfectly fine with air conditioning. Nuttin wrong with it. Now a heater on the other hand..." She trailed off, supressing a shudder. She couldn't stand them now, mostly due to her inability to withstand the heat they gave off.

"Ah, well, I will have to remember you then if I need language help. I have enough trouble keeping both my Spanish and English current.” Marie looked around the room a moment at all the fellow students. Some were leaving for classes already it seemed. “I had better finish my breakfast and get going. If I don’t see you in a class, I hope you have a good day.” Marie said her goodbye with a slight wave and returned to her table.
“Now, Sam, before chaos ensued, what were you saying?” she asked while quickly finishing her delicious breakfast.

"First. I mean, seriously, what point is there to going to study hall when I dont even know what i'm doing in other lessons? he said finishing his meal and sitting back. "You know I would do band, but it's always so rigid. and boring. They never let you decide what you play. Alright for most these goons but not for someone who writes their own music. Still, I'm okay at mechanics." He pulled out his sketch and lyric book and opened it to a blank page and jotted something down.

Arkell frowned hearing a loud crash coming from somewhere in front of them. She looked up in time to see Sergey get up covered in syrup and food particles. She looked down and saw Bane watching after him. She coughed finishing up her food. She stood up to go take care of her plates and when she came back she gave Bane a smile. "Well, I'm going to go visit with Logan a bit before classes, make sure he's alright after what happened yesterday. I'll see you later?" she asked with a raised eyebrow
He walked quickly away from the cafeteria and back to his dorm to change his clothes. He locked the door behind him when he came back out, basically wearing the same thing except black. He walked forward looking around and then sighed reaching up to cover his face with his hands. He had definitely ******** up that time...
