The king sat on his throne staring up at the ceiling. Then Vlad walked in with the assassin named Ssakuri cuffed. "Hmm what is this? How did you find him Vlad?" asked king belgarion.

"Thank you Vlad." Marie follows behind them. Entering the King's throne room Marie curtsies. Her eyes still fixed on the assasian.

Vlad looks at the king, "I found him wandering the halls. Apparently he has a request to make of you."

"Yes i did. please..." Ssakuri groaned with pain. then he continued. "excuse my interuption, but i must tell you something. but before i do, please, let me swear to you. let me be your humble servant. i promised i would not reveal this to anyone but.." Ssakuri groaned again. "if you were my master id have too." said Ssakuri

Vlad rubs his chin, "Now he's a toughie. Marie has yet to demonstrate any aggression against us. Him not so much. He could be decieving us to get another chanve for a strike. Or his superiors could have genuinely mislead him. Every kingdom uses a few pawns in this manner. he did walk openly through the castle, virtually inviting capture, not a move an assassin would normally take. SSakuri, would you be willing to accept confinement in a cell while me and the king consider your request? Don't worry, if we accept your offer you'll be let out."

Pete_W Harper came over to Ashely to comfort her. " I promise to keep you safe no matter what and my surprise will have to wait." he got close to the princess and stood to protect her. Dominique tried gettign in to protect her but Harper said "stay outside and warn us if the intruder gets inside." She sighed and leaned in over and hugged him

he hugged her back. He made sure Dominique was at his station and not looking in and then kissed her lightly on the cheek. "You know i am glad you don't mind me liking you even if it could get you in trouble"

"Im glad you can open up to me and like me the way you do.."she said turning his head with her hand on his cheek, she kissed him on the lips softly.

Vlad looks down at him, "I'll take him to one of the empty rooms." He turns to some guards, "Take him to another empty guest room with the same arragements as Marie, except double the guards and have some inside with him. I would suggest a cell but our cells are not very condusive to recovery. Call for me the second he awakens"

Watching the assasian being carried out of the room, Marie loosened up. Taking a sigh of relief that no attack was made Marie walked over to Vlad and said, "Thank you for letting m,e be in here, but I kow it is not my place to be when you and the King talk about the assasian." Marie bows and curtised to both the King and Vlad. She left the room and headed for her balcony.

The guards come and carry Ssakuri away to his room, Vlad looks at the king until Marie leaves, "Marie seems to be doing fairly well. I'm still suspicious about her bird messenger thing but overall she seems to be proving her trustworthiness."

Marie enters her room and sets her bow and arrows on the bed. "Well today started off in a different way." Marie goes out on her balcony and rests on the ledge. Looking out she sees something flying around in a circle, "Could that be?" Marie hears her messanger bird's cry. "Yes, Mother replied! Oh I must tell Vlad." Leaning off the ledge Marie walks tward her door. Opening the door she finds two knights, "Excuse me, gentlemen. My messanger bird is here and the Vlad said he wanted to see the bird. Would you mind telling him that my bird is here? Thank you very much." Marie curtsied and went back into her room.

The knights come and tell Vlad. He knocks on Marie's room before he enters, "I was told you wanted to see me about something?"
