Kilik scratched the back of his head. "I say we battle for real after we shop," he called out, "Since I've only got Ludicolo and Elekid on me. Yet seeing how eager our kids are..." he took a moment to eye both his Pokemon and Napalm on the other side, "I say we let them duke it out first." The tall boy crossed his arms over his chest. "Sound fair?"
Whether it did or not, he wasn't going to waste any time. Clenching his fist, Kilik punched the air. "Let's start this off with a bang! Elekid, attack Napalm with Shock Wave!" A perfect move. With a smirk, the baby clenched his fists and began to charge up electricity in his prongs. A cry echoed out as the orb of lightning shattered from above his head and streaks of electricity whipped across the ground, scorching the tips of the grass. The bolts aimed directly for Napalm - not that aim mattered. The move couldn't miss.

Before Mike could respond, more or less agreeing with his friend, Kilik commanded his Elekid to let loose a Shock Wave attack. "The no miss move eh? I just happen to have one of those of my own!" The boy flicked his unruly bangs from his eyes and stomped on the ground, slashing the air with his hand. "Napalm, take that hit and retaliate with your Faint Attack!" Might as well save an Overheat for when things get serious.
While the Magby didn't enjoy the prospect of getting blasted by the attack, he knew that sooner or later it would hit him. Might as well take it now instead of running around tiring himself out. Napalm braced himself as the Shock Wave blasted him square in the torso. He felt the electricity surge through his body. It didn't feel good that's for sure. Shaking off the static, the Magby jumped into the air with as much of a smirk as he could wear, vanishing from sight.
Mike watched calmly as his Pokemon disappeared, slipping his hands into his pockets as the battle unfolded before him.

"Dammit Touya," Mitsu cursed looking off into the horizon. Why couldn't he just left in peace back in her darkened room in Mossdeep? Really now, people weren't that important, especially since they'd think she was some freak of nature or something. Which, technically would have been correct. Haha, she mentally laughed at herself. Sarcasm was dripping with her every thought.
"I can hear you Mitsu," Karri spoke shaking her head disapprovingly. "Thought we got rid of that negative attitude a long time ago! Touya and I worked so hard and you're making me feel like a waste!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever Karri," Mitsu said waving her off. Just then she swore she heard her name. Turning around she scanned the beach for a familair face. Not truely connecting with any she shrugged her shoulders. "Wonder who that was," she murmured before picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. "I swore it sounded so familiar. . ."

[ short post is short C: ]
The purple-haired girl from far away turned and looked around but did not reply. But that was enough for M.A. to tell who it was; although her ability of face and name memorization was lackluster, this one she definitely knew.
"MITSUUUU~~!" With that, the brunette ran towards her friend, looking almost like a gazelle now with her mile-long legs. She stopped a few feet short from her target since said target hadn't made any move of recognition as of yet. Who knew, maybe it was one of those times where she had gotten the wrong person and was making a fool of herself...

"Who are you?" Mitsu asked appearing puzzled. She tilted her head to the side to display her confusion. "Just kidding! Hey M.A. it's been a while. Or well, at least it feels like it's been," Mitsu said smiling a tad.
"Glad to see you're well," Karri acknowledged, "Always welcomed to see a smiling face." And here Karri nudged Mitsu a bit laughing to herself. Of course the communication was telepathic and Karri chose only to direct it to M.A. thus successfully leaving Mitsu clueless at her little snide remark.

Watching her pokemon jump around happily Robin just giggled slightly before bending down and scooping him up. "Come on I don't want you getting lost. How about I give you the next battle we encounter to burn off a bit of that extra energy of yours?" She asked the excited Aipom. Luffy seemed to like that idea as his large ears seemed to perk up and he clapped his hands clapped together. "Well good then." She laughed slightly before heading south towards the pokemon center. Her pokemon didn't need the healing but Ampersand had said the entrance to Digletts cave was near it.
Stopping at the door Robin looked around a bit confused as to where it was. It took her a moment before she found what she assumed was a cave, well it was a big brown hill in the ground. Shrugging she headed over but was stopped by a tiny little tree. "What the?" Robin said out loud. Frowning slightly she pushed the small supple tree to the side and stepped over it. That small obstacle done Robin walked over to the cave not quite sure if this was it. Lucky for her there was a small sign in front of it that would point out the way. Reading it Robin felt a bit proud of herself, it was Digletts cave!"
So all she had to do was wait for Ampersand to show up so that they could make it back to the train station. Knowing it would take him a little longer, he was coming from a farther place then she was. It didn't take to long though for her to spot the taller mans figure. Waving enthusiastically Robin couldn't help but smile as he approached.
"Hello there little lady. Sorry to make you wait." He said with a grin as he adjusted his hat and greeted Luffy as the Aipom jumped onto his shoulder. "Thank you again for coming with me on this little trip."

Kasiya wasn't expecting this reaction from the stoic Rocket, and she smiled a bit. Aha, so this guy likes Mai, eh? she thought, wondering if her older sister's heart was capable of affection. "That would be nice," she said, stumbling a little as a bit of dizziness found its way into her head. Actually, she was now thankful Jaxon was there. If she fainted, she wouldn't have had anyone to help her. She took his arm, still unaware that this was completely out of character, and allowed him to lead her. This might come in handy if this ever happens again, Kasiya thought, still wondering just how this whole thing started in the first place.
Her thoughts drifted back to the dream, where she had been lying in some sort of laboratory with a strange person looking down at her. That had been the night when she battled with Nina and earned a Marsh Badge. I sure hope Nina is doing all right, she thought, remembering how her friend had reacted. She couldn't blame her though; she had been flung into the position of gym leader with little experience. She then turned her gaze so it rested on Jaxon for a moment, and she didn't remember seeing him before when Team Rocket launched their attacks.

Serenity found herself blushing again with the other boy came up to drop his pokemon off for healing. Mike introduced himself, and then when it became obvious that he knew the other boy as well, he introduced Kilik. Before she had much chance to respond to Mike's proposition of joining them on their shopping trip, or even saying hi to Kilik both boys were in discussion about a rematch of some sort. Mike's Magby seemed to be up for the challenge either way. The thought of watching a battle between the little fire pokemon and Elekid kind of got her blood rushing in all different directions.
George was watching the two boys with curiosity. He wasn't used to seeing so many new humans, pokemon gallore sure, but not humans. It was interesting to see them interact with each other, and with each other's pokemon too. George heard them talk of a battle and he got excited and started bouncing around a bit more than he already was. It was something he wanted to see.
When the two boys started to rush outside, both called after Serenity to come watch the battle. There was no way she could turn down such an invitation. She wanted to see what she would be up against one day. She had a feeling that she would have little trouble convincing George to battle and level up. The mudkip was at least as excited as she was at the thought of watching a battle between the fire and electric pokemon.
The Elekid was faster and struck first with shock wave, but before she knew it the magby used faint attack and vanished from sight. I've always liked that attack. Serenity sat down on the step of the pokecentre and continued to watch the battle in front of her.

Kilik chuckled and drummed his fingers idly on his arm. "Y'know, I'd call that a cheap shot, but I took one too." The boy merely watched as Elekid searched around frantically for any sign of that troublesome Magby. Suddenly, he found himself on the ground, suffering from a blow to his back. The Pokemon got up slowly, looking up and watching as Napalm emerged in front of him. He growled a bit.
"Now that the preliminaries have been taken care of..." Kilik scratched his chin then nodded, "Elekid, attack with a Low Kick!" He crossed his arms over his broad chest again and followed his plug's movements. Aah, with pleasure. "Ele!" he snapped, running towards Magby with his arms flailing somewhat. When he was close enough, Elekid went down and began sliding on the ground with his right leg extended, aiming right for Napalm's torso.
This is always fun. Just wait until they evolve, Kilik smiled at the thought.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Jaxon asked, catching her gaze with an expression mixed with cloudy concern, skepticism, perplexity and something close to astonishment. For one, she rarely ever smiled like that, if ever. He'd never seen her make such a gentle expression. Maybe she really was feeling woozy, as seen by her swaying. Must be pretty bad if she actually accepted his arm and actually waited for him to take her to her own quarters, though he certainly didn't mind that womanly weight; his heartbeat sped up for once, something that surprised him for that usually only happened when he was pissed off or in some kind of fix. Naturally, he didn't mind this side of Mai at all, except for the fact that this was Mai and her being like this, her typically strong, independent self allowing such support, screamed for alarm. Could it be dementia, or was she sleep-walking or did she hit her head or something? "What happened? Do you need a doctor?"
"And Miss, your office... is this way," he said, concern deepening now when his commanding officer was about to go straight ahead rather than turn.
> > > > > > < < < < < <
"Hey!" M.A. laughed, nearly thinking that she had gotten the wrong person again. Now that the target's identity was affirmed, she swept in for a brief, friendly hug. "Yeah, I know. Did you get paler?" she asked, cocking her head to one side as she pulled away.
"Ah! Good to see you too... It's Karri, right? And whatever did you mean by that?" the girl said with innocent blithe, oblivious to the message.
"Well anyways... since you're both here... would you two like to play beach rugby with us? Us being my family over there. It'll be fun, I promise. Unless you're leaving already," the girl said, a small frown forming at that concluding clause.

"No, I'm fine," Kasiya snapped, unaware that she had done so. "I've been working too hard lately. I just need a good night's sleep," she said, rubbing her temples with her thumb and index finger of her free hand. "Of course it is. I'm just exhausted is all," she said quickly, letting out a labored sigh and continuing to follow him. Some of the corridors they were now following were looking familiar, and somehow she knew these were Mai's memories. The images were vague but enough to keep her from making a wrong turn again, and she felt relieved when they finally happened upon her quarters. "This is it," she said, nodding curtly at Jaxon as she reached into her pockets, knowing full-well that the door would be locked. "You may go now," she added, pulling out a set of keys and studying them for a moment. "I appreciate your help, Jaxon, but I would prefer if you kept this to yourself." She cast him an icy glare, not unlike one Mai herself would have given, and dismissed him with a wave of her hand. "Take the rest of the evening off to relax," she added, having found the right key (another memory that was not her own). "You deserve it. Good night, Jaxon." With one final nod she slipped the key into the lock and turned it, hearing the bolt looseen on the other side. She opened the door and stepped inside, closing it behind her.
Once inside the room she sighed, leaning against the solid door and closing her eyes. Kasiya was starting to feel scared - what if she didn't return to her own body? A panicky feeling rose up in her chest when she realized that Mai was with Keegan, and so were all of her Pokemon. She pulled the long trench coat off and hung it on the back of the door, figuring it belonged there before she flopped down on the bed, kicking off her boots. It was a bit annoying because Mai was taller than she was (probably a foot at least) and it was a bit odd being so high up. Sighing she buried her face in the soft pillows, feeling tears welling up in her eyes. She didn't want to be Mai anymore. She wanted to be back in her own body, with her Pokemon and Keegan. Sniffling a bit, another wave of light-headedness came over her, and she gripped the comforter for support. This was followed by a topsy-turvy sensation, and for a moment Kasiya was certain the room had just flipped over. She opened her eyes, surprised to find herself staring up at a ceiling, bright lights shining down on her. There were voices around her, and as she sat up, she realized she was in a Pokemon Center. It took a moments of looking around and surveying her surroundings before she realized she was herself again. A sick feeling passed through her stomach when she noticed that none of her Pokeballs were on her belt, and Keegan wasn't anywhere in sight either. With a frightened gasp she stood up, looking around frantically.
=-=-=-=-= When Mai opened her eyes, she was astonished to find that she was lying on her own bed in her room. Her head was still spinning a bit as she sat up and looked around, and after a few seconds she managed to convince herself that it was not a dream. She really had changed places with her sister! She stood up and checked out her room, finding nothing to be out of place, as even her coat was hanging where it should be. "I just hope the little brat kept to herself and didn't mess anything up," she muttered, sitting down at her computer and logging on. She loaded up a few of the surveillance videos of the children and started to watch them intently, deciding it was time to learn how Kasiya interacted with each and every one of her friends. "I'll be ready next time," she whispered, a wicked grin passing over her features.

Nope. She was fine after all; just a bit tired, heavens knows the woman works hard, Jaxon thought with the beginnings of an ironic smile. He was genuinely glad that she was alright, though he already knew that regardless of anything the situation would never change. But the masochist part of him enjoyed this; it was punishment for his heavy crimes to have whatever was left of his heart settling on the one woman he didn't have the slightest shot with. There was no agonizing on this point; it was the simple truth of the matter and he had long ago accepted it. So he listened to her commands as always with that attentive, expressionless manner; this wasn't a mask, but simply what he was. He gave her a nod and a sharp salute before departing.
Time to train, he thought to himself, fingering the three Pokeballs on his belt under his trench coat. With the Beach Party so near by, there was no chance to relax yet; according to the records and research that the Team already possessed, there were considerably strong opponents to face this time, several of which could overwhelm him in terms of strength. He'd have to be a bit more wily than usual. . . For Jaxon, there was next to nothing keeping him from playing less than fair. The end justifies the means, he thought as he changed into a white-beater and some basketball shorts before setting off to the training grounds.
'Till midnight with a few water breaks, he personally sparred off with his Hitmonlee, surprisingly practically on the same level while his other two girls went at it.

"Yeah. . ." she trailed off not realizing that she had indeed turned more pale than she thought. "I haven't see sunlight in ages," she said, only half joking for it was partly true. Mitsu gave a nervous laugh, scratching the back of her head, her hand glowing a faint green. But the green went unnoticed by either M.A. or Karri. She was still getting the hang of keeping her powers under wraps, though much better than she had been at it before.
"Yes, I'm glad you remembered me. And I didn't mean anything," the elegant Gardevior said nonchalantly. It was almost a joy to have these little jokes to herself. Oh how wonderful telepathy and mind reading was!
"Sure," Mitsu agreed, "Though I've never played it before." Odd she thought for she did live on an island and never had even played the sport more or less even watched it. "And I don't think I'm leaving," she said with a false smile that she hoped was believable. She really didn't know if she'd be leaving again or not, but she'd at least stay for this party that Touya had shoved on her. Viridian Forest, Giovanni, the strange kid with the straw hat. She was so eager to find out about them and her unknown past. Earlier she had tried to get in touch with Giovanni, but that failed. Ahh well, she decided to at least have fun for now. "So, where are they? I'd love to meet them!" she laughed, genuinely this time.

Mike watched as the zippy little plug ran forward, charging towards his Magby. The very recent battle towards the Mightyena came back to mind, the ferocious wolf tearing into the ground, teeth bared and all. It was too bad that he couldn't use Napalm's Psychic attack to stop him.
Wait.
Dammit. The boy groaned slightly. I'm so stupid. Elekid wasn't a Dark type (he hoped.), but, as was Mike's way, he would charge in blindly and think of things as he went along. He made another mental note, this time to look up Elekid next time he had a chance. "Napalm!" He shouted. "Try to stop Elekid with your Psychic! Don't be too fancy!" He wished he had commanded that sooner, the Electric Pokemon was very close.
Napalm smiled, he always liked using that move, it made him feel really versatile. Thankfully he'd had a lot of practice using it, or he wouldn't have been able to pull it off in time. The Pokemon's eyes lit up with a bright shade of blue. After a brief moment, Napalm threw his clawed hands forward, a semi-transparent blast of circular energy launchng out from his body. The Magby closed his eyes and focus, hoping the mentally powered attack would stop the Elekid in his tracks.

Upon reentering the Pokemon Center, Keegan was a bit surprised to see Kasiya not only awake but standing up too. At first she seemed to be looking for something but as he watched her, he soon was able to see that she was frightened - no, terrified - of someone or something. Now what? he thought, shoving his hands into his pockets and walking towards her. As he got closer he could see that she looked like she was ready to cry.
"Hey," he said softly as he approached her, "you all right?" He reached up to put a hand on her shoulder but decided against it as her crazy mood swings and behavior came back to mind. Don't want to set her off again... he thought. ===== Sparkle hobbled back a bit, not impressed by the scratch she now had on the end of her nose. Static electricity coursed over her body before she let out a sharp bleat, sending out a strangly weak jolt of electricity. Miharu studied it as it struck the Sentret, not doing any damage but seemingly causing it to become slowed. "Oh, that was Thunder Wave," she murmured, not realizing that Sparkle had grown that quickly already. "Wow!" Now Paralyzed, the Sentret was a lot easier of a target to hit. It ran forward, attempting to use another Scratch attack but it was unable to move due to paralysis, leaving the door wide open for Sparkle to attack.
"Give 'em your Thundershock!" Miharu cheered, watching as the little sheep created another blast of electricy and aimed it at her opponent, striking it for significant damage.
