While Mattie may not be the youngest guy, he certainly is the shortest...even most of the girls are taller than him. domokun

Actually, Scott and Emma would place everybody on a team as they enter the school because they all have an adviser upon entering, who is their head trainer. They can switch advisers if they really have an issue, but of course, it's up to the school's discretion if they can switch.
So *cough* those who don't have a team, tell me who you're starting with. smile

I think all of our characters are corruptible to a point. The New Mutants are all bright and shiny all the time.

Hm, I'll have to look into who can coach Matthieu, since I have no idea. Also classes...(Horticulture sounds like something he'd be interested in)
Edit: Okay, from what I gather his councelor would be Scott, then. Never mind.
I wonder if anyone's not busy doing something right now, because if Mattie comes out and there's no one around, he'll be like "AH I WAS LATE D:"

Aaron's adviser is Emma because she is in charge of the Hellions. He would probably just have private lessons with Storm on his schedule somewhere.

Hmmm... Urby, I don't know if the school specifically has any mutants with that power as teachers, but almost any of the X-Men know how to teach control. Maybe one of the ones who can talk to animals and are one with animals might have some insight to her power since it's being intune with another form of life. Wolvesbane comes to mind.

If Aaron can have lessons with Storm, could I too? She is the only other character who can manipulate lightning like my character, Jay, does. or perhaps Surge, from the new New-Mutants?

Heh, Surge, we can say she's on a different team in Academy X. I have Julian Keller leading the Excalibur team I think. Why don't we say she's on Excalibur too... Maybe I'll make a student listing for some of those characters. lol
I don't have a problem with anybody picking what teacher's they have private sessions with. If anything, Storm probably teachers a weather control class wink
Okay, I did a blanket 'assumption' post that all team members are in Thorne's room. If not, then you can still write your character getting to it of course.

How many classes would a student be expected to have? I'm trying to make something that's fun but still makes sense. My! xd
I'm assuming that the PC tours are over, so I'm thinking of having Nightcrawler be like "vhy halo thar" and show Mattie around. Then I think he'll head up to his dorm...he'll be all alone, poor chap. Everyone's out going to the meetings and he has no roommate!
I approve an Academy X roadtrip...maybe for Summer Break some of the students can go on EPIC QUEST FOR what are roadtrips for anyway
